They're behind the Jack Herer but at least the ladies showed up to the party at least! I have named them Shasta and Sky. They both have made the journey towards the light. I am maintainin a 21-23 C with around 67-75% RH, and with all 3 beans now popped, I am very excited about this grow day 5 of germination. Temp: 21.5c RH 75%. The sunset sherbert autos x2 (total 3) are also freshly emerged, and for now the SF-1000401h Evo 100W will be powering the babiesd, swapped out for the Mars Hydro FC-E1500 150W (+complete adlite set). later on this afternoon. Spider Farmer's 6L humidifier with sensor is doing a great job, and so is the dehumidifier , both are operating fine in the 70x70x1,60 tent. Air flow at 25% on a 4" inline fan with 204CFM. Light at 30% at 18 inches. No Adlites in operation. Let's quickly review the key new components I've planned to integrate or have already: Circulation Pump - Adding this to the 14L Mars Hydro reservoir will ensure even fresh, circulated-for-a-miniute-every-hour, batch of water (and later nutes) to the auto-drip system, maintaining optimal feeding for my plants when I am away, next week. Biobizz & BioTabs Supplements - These organic nutrient and microbial products will provide a comprehensive and balanced feeding regimen for my plants. Auto-Drain Potted Plant Stands - The wheeled, auto-draining stands will simplify watering and prevent any spills or overflows. Inkbird Humidity Controller - Pairing this with the Spider Farmer humidifier and dehumidifier will allow me to precisely maintain the ideal VPD (Vapor Pressure Deficit) levels. LST Clips, Trellis Net & Shelves - These will help me maximize my grow space and optimize the plant canopy for optimal light exposure. Pest Control Strips - An important preventative measure to stay ahead of any potential pest issues. Smart Soil Sensors - The Zigbee-enabled sensors will provide vital data on soil moisture, temperature, and more, which I can monitor remotely. Air Purifier/Ion Generator - Ensuring my grow environment has clean, high-quality air circulation. With all of these elements in place, combined with my existing setup and the automated control via the iGrow app, I'm truly creating a "hands-off" grow operation. (theoretically, with a bro, coming to phiscally check too)....The ability to monitor and adjust key parameters remotely while I'm away in Italy. Day 1 Pink Wafers (Biscotti x Pink Champagne) The next journey has just begun and I'm looking forward to this one ✌️🏻 Update: We lost one on the way due to an amateur mistake 🤦‍♂️🏼 I didn't feed them or fill humidifier up and was a hot day so when I got back it was face down in the soil 🤦‍♂️🏼 hopefully won't make that mistake again while they are this small 🤣

11/30: I harvested the first 6 today, flushed 5 more for the second time, and fed everybody else for the last time. I washed all the branches using the 4-step method ascribed by Doc Bud at High Times/420magazine and many other notable cannabis connoisseurs, with slight modifications: 4 x big plastic totes/bins 8 x ounces of 12% hydrogen peroxide (or 32 ounces of 3%) 2 x cups of concentrated lemon juice 2 x cups of baking soda 10 x gallons of water in each bin Unless your tap water stinks, you're safe to use tap water for the procedure, but I used an inline carbon hose filter to fill my buckets. Bin #1 - 10 gallons of water mixed with the hydrogen peroxide Bin #2 - 10 gallons of water mixed with the lemon juice and baking soda Bin #3 - 10 gallons of water as hot tap water Bin #4 - 10 gallons of cold tap water I was mainly concerned about removing as much lint and cat/dog hair as possible, but also rinsing off any residue left from all the various foliar applications of humic/fulvic acid, kelp, axiom, big bloom, and tiger bloom I did. First, I put my leaf blower on low speed and blasted my plants thoroughly, one at a time, replicating 50-60mph winds for about 10 seconds and watched as a whirlwind of debris and hair flew out the back door. Bud-washing: Pluck any necrotic plant material and any old fan leaves off while they're still on the plant. Then, take a handful of branches and submerge them in Bin #1 for about 30 seconds, agitating it, removing from water, submerging again, agitating, etc...then remove it and let it drip out for a few seconds...then repeat the process with Bins #2-4. Let it drip dry overnight with a little bit of airflow, then dry as you normally would...baskets, boxes, etc.. I hadn't watered these plants in a few days, so they were almost in draught, but after doing this procedure, they were fully hydrated(turgid) and seemed to have brighter colors than before. Nice!😍 12/1: The bottom part of the closet seems empty with only 9 plants in there.. 😟 I cut the harvested plants up and put them into drying baskets in the top of my closet with a small oscillating fan on. I've got the temperature fluctuating between 68f and 75f and the RH is staying between 48% and 52%. To do that, I had to take down the small light in the top of the closet to fit the drying baskets up there. So, I moved the 3 shorter plants still up there down to the bottom and put them on top of buckets. Now the bottom of the closet looks full again!😃 I'm anxious to finish up this grow so I can get busy growing the Fastbuds Fast Flowering Photo Testers!!! When I harvest the next 5, I'll flush the remaining plants really well and that will be all the flushing they'll get..I'll let them dry back out for a few days and harvest them. I've got to make some minor improvements to the garden (adding UV, blue and red/far red booster panels and intake fans) That should put me on track to start germinating them by mid-December if all goes well. 12/3: ...early a.m... The harvested plants are already dry!?!?? And have excellent texture??? Wow..bud washing is for real..roughly 48 hours after I hung them to drip dry, and 40 hours after I put them in baskets in 50% RH/70f conditions with moderate airflow...usually takes 4 or 5 days to get a good slow-dry in the same conditions, so I'm convinced that this must be attributed to the bud-washing procedure. I'm sold! Here's the talley so far: plant #1 - 115g (plus 13g larf) - Candy Cane [F2] plant #2 - 108g (plus 18g larf) - Candy Cane [F2] plant #3 - 119g (plus 15g larf) - C4ndycaine [Candy Cane x C4] plant #4 -  92g (plus 6g larf) - Candy Cane [F2] - the smallest plant in the main area plant #5 - 112g (plus 22g larf) - Candesia [Candy Cane x Amnesia] plant #6 -  75g (no larf) - Candesia [Candy Cane x Amnesia] - grown in upper area under 200w ...afternoon: I flushed 6 of the last 7 plants for the first time today and harvested 4 more of them. I washed them and hung them to dry.....my dripping wet bathing beauties!😍

It's doin its thing. Smells great, skunky cheese but creamy. Not bad given i jammed it in a corner and hsted by breaking the branches to make it spread n fit.

I switched her to flowering. After returning from my Holiday I decided I would be moving cities. I wanted to veg her longer but switched the bulbs at 8 weeks. I am finally able to sleep in the dark! This rocks! Ive also been removing a lot of the excess leaf growth just to keep her fresh and not too crowded. The cardboard screen was removed and I used 4 chopsticks to press down on the lower branches and press the tops a little further apart; This really helped to space the branches out wider and allow light to breakthrough on some of the lower nodes. I started feeding her a little bit of molasses in her water, just to aid in the flowering. I also added wood ash to the top layer before watering. Also a little compost tea every now and then.

***** Week 6 May 16 to 22, 2020 - Days 36 to 42 from germination ***** Calling this a flower week but it certainly is more of transition week. Been battling a busy life along with pH issues this grow. Starting to get both under control😃 These girls were transplanted into 3 gal plastic pots after battling pH issues and unable to bring down below 7.1 until cut out of fabric pots.........piss off!!! Cheap fabric pots from Amazon are a thing of the past!!!! 😡😡😡 Ordering Radical bags👍 During transplant GSC2 took it hard. She got twisted coming out of the old pot and it was a bit of a disaster😢..........GSC went very well and her root mass stayed together.😃 GSC2 is a freak and I am learning more from her. Growing out almost sideways from the pot. Keeping an eye on the main stem to ensure she doesn’t start to rot at the soil level........may trim off a couple of more branches. Her root mass won’t be very big so think I will take more branches and let her focus on building the density of a few bud sites rather than spreading a little to several sites. LST introduced this week as well. Started the introduction of Rezin and Terpinator now. Little more detail.......... May 16/20 - Day 36 - 2L each girl of Massive @ 3ml, VeloKelp, Rezin, @ 2ml, Sensyzime, Liquid Wt, Dual Fuel @ 1ml = 1000ppm and 4.5pH - stop lower the pH as much next feeds. 5.5 idea now and see how they react. I really want 6.2 going in!!!!😞 - GSC2 is concern as she took the transplant poorly with her whole root mass being flipped over and on top of herself. May 17/20 - Day 37 - Mixed 3L water with Massive @ 2.5ml, Piranha, Voodoo, Dual Fuel @ 1.5ml, Rezin, Liquid Wt, CalMag @ 1ml = 1050ppm and 5.5pH - GSC given 2L and GSC2 only 1L. - giving them more microbes and beneficials next couple of feeds with more Piranha and Voodoo again. - stripped more leaves today. GSC2 took more lower stuff as well.,,.....so bushy on the bottom. May 18/20 - Day 38 - mixed 3.5L water with Massive @ 3ml, Piranha, Voodoo, Dual Fuel, Rezin, Liquid Wt, Vitathrive @ 1.5ml = 850ppm and 5.7pH - checked some runoff numbers today...... - GSC runoff was 400ppm and 5.8pH. - GSC2 runoff was 550ppm and 6.2pH - PH is back in line!!!!!!🙌🙌 - GSC is coming along but her branches are not as thick as I would like. Side branches are getting longer. - GSC2 is a mess in general😀 She is shooting out fan leaves and they leaves are getting bigger but she is not getting any bigger?? - LST day today and GSC had some branches pulled down. Leaving GSC2 for now., May 19/20 - Day 39 - dry out day - just left them alone today😃 May 20/20 - Day 40 - 2L each girl of water with Rhino skin, CalMag, Sensyzime @ 1.5ml, Dual Fuel @ 1ml = 650ppm and 6.1pH - there was some runoff from GSC2 only. - girls look happy overall today. May 21/20 - Day 41 - 3L water mixed with Rezin and Terpinator @ 1.5ml = 160ppm and 5.7pH - was going to be a plain water feed but changed last minute and its time for Terpinator. - the girls are not overly happy today.....not sure why - all girls seem to be responding well to the LST over last couple of days. May 22/20 - Day 42 - dry out day - Both girls still trying to set bud sites but no success yet.

Good week, no issues popping up. Just watered when needed. WCC she is packing on weight, with buds stacked on buds and smells amazing. C4 Very strong girl, nothing has fazed her from the beginning. Beautiful purple plant and the smell is floral. And packing some nice looking buds. Gelato Pretty much the same as C4, very strong, looking amazing and the smell is delicious. Bud sites aplenty. SBP Small bud sites are developing with a few white hairs. More just growing her on as a little experiment really she how she turns out. Not expecting much, but we'll see

I'm expecting at least another week on the hubba bubba as it's getting nice and thick, and I haven't noticed any new pistols form in a few days. The ABxRKO is still trucking, and it makes me excited for the next drop that tree1four did. It smells heavy on the burger side, but not super meaty. It has a slightly sweet gassy meaty smell to it.

Short tent tour. 5 Plants in grow 4 Photoperiod 1 Dark Devil Auto 3 APF (Alaskan Purple Feminised) 2 apfs are clones from topping mother plant Rooted the clones in just plain water in plastic tub. No root power just water and they still rooted. 1 x Bangai Haze Standard 1 x Dark Devil Auto in with the 12/12 photoperiods. 1 x Dark Devil Auto (Harvested) Poor grow from summer in window and small starter pots. Nice Toke though.

Had a great time documenting this grow, despite all the drama going on in my personal life. This is my last diary for a few months while we find a new home, but got all my seeds ready to go as soon as we're settled in. :) Thanks to everyone for all the comments and support. 6/29/2021 - New mains for quadlining growing out nicely since topping. - Watered with un-PH'd de-chlorinated tap water. - Foliar fed with DIY kelp extract. - She's jumping out the gym, very excited. - It's been 5 weeks of alternating DIY nutrient teas (coconut water + kelp extract + neem & karanja extract + water) and un-PH'd Toronto tap water, and I've seen no signs of deficiencies or lockouts. - She's taking well to the various DIY foliar sprays as well, no burning. 7/1/2021 - I think one of my bottle sprayers is infected with butyric acid, 'cause it stinks in here, loll. - SHE WANTS TO GROOOWWW! 7/4/2021 - Growth a week after topping is strong. Hoping the auxins in the kelp foliar, and nutrients in coconut water are responsible. - I barely need to train her right now, it's as if she wanted to be topped. Besides some periodic light bending, she seems to be leveling out her branches herself.

This week has been all about shaping the plant. I’ve learned from last that the colas weren’t the same height, because I let the plant do it’s things with just a bit of training. Now I know what to look for so I’m trying my hardest. I top dressed this week with crab meal, Gaia green all purpose 4-4-4, insect frass, kelp meal, bone meal, azomite, and covered it with a healthy serving of worm castings (about an inch to 2 inches). All of which was sprinkled on all the chopped and dropped leaves/branches. I believe in adding biomass to soil, especially for an indoor growing who is money conscious. Doing that can help save me money going back to the store for more soil.

Today I switched the light to the flowering phase. The light is now on for 12 hours. All plants were fertilized with Hesi Bio Bloom. The Tropical Marker and the Plurple Kush each received 2 liters of water, and the Pink Gelato received 1 liter. I trimmed off some large leaves. I hope they have a smooth transition into flowering. Day 42: The girls are growing well. The Purple Kush and Pink Gelato received 2 liters of water with Hesi Bio Bloom and some Biobizz Calmag today. I dimmed the light to 60%. The Pink Gelato is catching up a bit, but is very small in comparison. Day 43: They're all still growing well. The tropical marker has been given 2 liters of water with hesi bio bloom and biobizz call mag. I've raised the lamp a bit higher. Here you can see how the stems of the plants have developed; the pink gelato has grown like crazy. The humidifier from Spider Farmer does a great job! Day 47: The girls look good; the first signs of flowering are visible on the Tropical Marker and the Purple Kush. I also defoliated them; it was definitely too much, and they thanked me a day later with preaching leaves. Unfortunately, the Pink Gelato didn't tolerate the topping well and only developed one shoot. I then removed this shoot. Afterward, I watered the Tropical and the Purple with 2 liters of water mixed with fertilizer and Calmag at a pH of 6.3. I set the ventilation to 50%.
