2.24.2024: Start of week 5 from seed. Started to flower last week. Nothing done today. Still no nutes given, still scared to defoliate. Plant is 15.5 inches tall and looks healthy. Light is 11 inches from the top and at 75% power, 112 watts. I'm clearly no expert and i'm sure there's something i should be doing(feeding) but she's chugging along. 2.25.2024: Day 37 from seed. Watered 64oz at 6.3ph. Bud development is slower then her tent mate. Perhaps thats due to her bushy stature and foliage. Still seeing solid upward growth each day. Hopefully she turns on the jets this week. Still no auxillary nutes given. Finally worked up the nerve to take off 8 fan leaves. Really opened the plant up. Hopefully i don't pay the price! 2.26.2024: Day 38. Small bit of upward growth. No negative affects from the defoliation yesterday. Will feed tomorrow for the first time at 1/4 strength nutes from the fox farm trio and maybe some calmag. 2.27.2024: Day 39 from seed. Finally fed the plant, albeit small amounts. Foxfam trio at 1/4 strength of the week 5 doses plus calmag. 64oz of the solution at 6.5ph. 2.28.2024: Day 40 from seed, 36 from sprout. Nothing doing today. Maybe a 1/4 inch of upward growth? Stuck around 19.5 inches in total height. Light at 75% power 11inches from the top. 2.29.2024: Day 41. 96oz of ph 6.5ph. Upward growth has stalled at 19.75 inches. Added a few handfuls of Ocean Forrest as i noticed the soil level has compacted a bit. Will add pics later today once she perks up a bit. 3.1.2024: End of week 6, day 42 from seed. Small bit of upward growth, now up to 21 inches. Besides some lite defoliation, i've let the plant do its thing. Since its my first time i figured the only goal is just to get to harvest. Lots of learnings thus far. FFOF probably isn't ideal but its working. Some burnt leaf tips, probably some nitrogen toxicity, but otherwise we're doing well. Will definately look to LST more and sooner next time around.

A Excited Welcome 🏆 I have just added this extra week in my diary as I have so many great photos of my beautiful Watermelon Auto girl from RQS which I must recommend growing as she is a stunner with large buds that smell delicious.😊 This girl is now defently finished and I'm getting ready to chop her down she has gone past and I would recommend giving her a good 10-12 weeks as it's not until late that all her colours and smell comes out. I'm now not watering her for a couple of days then into the dark for another couple of days fortunately she hasn't many leaves to trim she's all bud. I'm sad she's done but excited to smoke. Hello. This is the end of week 7 and the beginning of week 8 of veg. I took another look at the males and found them to be average. Not that smelly or resinous. So, no good for breeding. That's ok though. Let see what these females can do. They are topped already and ready to be repotted and put in the tent. There's still 1 plant undecided. Has small male looking flowers. I'll leave it for a few more days before deciding. Man, there are lots of large female orb weaving spiders around here this year. Huge webs, when you walk into them in the dark, they don't break off like the little webs. What a difference in design though. These spiders are all in my yard. I find them fascinating to look at. Update 2/4 (day 25): * Turned the lights back up to 100%. The top of the canopy is getting 50K Lux and they seem to be enjoying it. * Very small signs of flowering in the two smaller plants. Nothing yet from Pineapple Express #1, which was surprising since it's older. * Trimming bigger fan leaves to leave a clear top and bottom to the canopy. * Trying to train the colas to an even distribution and without getting too close to the sides. I am going all in on fewer-but-larger colas to try to boost the harvest. I hope I don't learn a hard lesson by not letting side branching to occur but want to give it a shot.

Can't wait for each of them to finish out. Giving them hopefully their full amount of water, less with the auto as it was stunted by the 12/12.

Plants with best root growth are begging for soil and it shows. Another two clones is showing root sites. Qualitative change in root growth seen via week on week comparison. DAY 23: June 7 2018: Transferred two of the clones from the clone box to 1 liter pots with an living soil medium. Of the two, 1 will carry on using URB through the end of its life. DAY 25: June 9 2018: Drenched the soil medium of the URB test (orange pot) as a soil inoculation-- ratio of 0.8ml per liter of water...will apply whatever is left over to the base of the stalk. Dropped the light down but will bring it back up if theres any burn. Temps are averaging 75F and haven't seen any issues. Day 52 lowered the light to 10 inches above canopy and will see if it impacts negatively. I feel like she's getting too crowded. Day 53 I feel like the buds are starting to thicken up. Some tops are frosting up but most aren't showing. Day 54 Added more ph water to the reservoir.

Nothing new. Typical spring weather in midwest; 80 one day, 35 the next. Keeps me active flipping between humidifier, dehumidifier, heat, and ac; fun! Have started to monitor trichromes. Plants seem as they will all finish at different times; basing that on orange hairs at the moment. Pics/vid taken 85/41F days after breaking the soil.

I am very happy with the harvest @21% wet to dry that pretty strong for me, the buds were in the tent for 10 days, the long slow drying process has really paid off. The buds were solid and frosty, this strain was very easy to grow, and like I said Original Sensible Seeds do not disappoint, I have a few more strains by them and cant wait to get them started!

Using a Rhaspberry Pi 4 to automate the watering and a TP-link 105 smart plug to automate the Viparspectra P2000 LED grow light. 7 weeks today and the plants are looking healthy. Only grew 2-3 inches this week so the vertical climb is slowly down fast but the buds are starting to swell. Fertilizing with cn flower granules once a week then big bloom, cal-mag, molasses, and stored rain water the rest of the time. Still warm here but nighttime slowly getting cooler and a cool front on the way. Probably another 3-4 weeks until harvest. Will check back later on. Thanks for stopping by. Decided to stagger harvests and drop a couple more beans. Wedding cake auto and Royal Jack have been germinated and waiting for them to sprout 8-26. Well I’m a genius. I thought I was using 5 gallon pots until I went to the nursery and bought some more pots. After filling up with soil and planting the seeds, I discovered the new ones are larger. Blonde moment. 9-2-25 gave them some big bloom, cal-mag, molasses in stored rainwater. Seem to be healthy. Stopped growing upwards and now fully dedicated to producing flowers. Starting to smell some but not overwhelming. Probably a few more weeks to harvest. Tricomes look cloudy but pistas are mostly white. 9-3-25 plants are very thirsty . They get saved rainwater everyday. I’m sure 24 hours of sunlight/grow light helps dry up the soil. Still hot here-90f+ but nights are close to 70f. Cooler weather soon 🙏🏻🙏🏻

04/09 - Started minor defoliation. Shes getting too bushy and blocking bud sites and causing moisture spots. Will remove a couple of leaves every other day for the next week. 05/09 - Full res change. Realised I mucked up the ratio. Went 35ml Micro, 25ml grow, (Shouldve been the other way around, so added an extra 10ml grow), 15ml Bloom and 15ml Silica. EC 1.4, PH 5.7. Will keep an eye on her and add some additional grow if she does alright. 06/09 - Minor defoliation. Removed about 12 leaves total so far. LST to spread the canopy a little more. PH stable at 5.8, EC at 1.4, Water level dropping. Seems to be stretching and pistils have begun to form! Responding well to the uptick in nutes from the res change. 07/09 - Leaf tucking, LST and took a leaf or two. Shes getting her stretch on for sure. PH stable at 5.8, EC stable at 1.4. Water level still dropping. 09/09 - After much deliberation, I ended up going for a fairly heavy defoliation session and am now going to leave her the hell alone until at least mid flower. I removed a large chunk of shaded leaves and bud sites and effectively ended up lollipopping her. I also removed all the old LST, and added a couple to pull leaves out of the way. The canopy remains largely unchanged, but shes much more airy now, and Im seeing far fewer damp spots where leaf perspiration has occured. Now to see if I can keep my hands off for a few weeks!

Nach langer Zeit ist es endlich soweit, ich habe sie geerntet. Bei dieser Pflanze habe ich mich dafür entschieden sie gegen den natürlichen Lebenszyklus outdoor eher zum Blühen zu bringen. Ich pflanzte sie in einen Hanffasersack den ich mit Erde auffüllte. Diesen platzierte ich auf einer Schubkarre. Wo ich wohne wird es manchmal schon im Oktober sehr kalt, sodass die Wahrscheinlichkeit für eine sichere Ernte realtiv gering ist (at this point i hope the best for my other outdoor plants). Ich rechnete mir aus wann der perfekte Zeitpunkt zur Ernte ist um noch im Sommer das Resultat genießen zu können. Ab diesem Zeitpunkt fuhr ich die Schubkarre jeden morgen um 8 Uhr nach draußen und um 18 Uhr wieder nach drinnen um optimale 12 Stunden Lichtzufuhr zu gewährleisten. Während den letzten Wochen der Blüte sind ein paar männliche Blüten aufgetaucht wie auch bei meinem indoor grow. Für einige war der Zeitpunkt der Ernte vielleicht zu früh, aber ich finde es so sehr angenehm zu rauchen und auch der Effekt ist in diesem Stadium optimal für mich. Die einzige Methode die ich hier verwendete ist das Pruning. Es erspart dir einen Menge Zeit beim beschneiden der Blüten und lenkt die Kraft auf die verbleibenden Blüten, um diese zu stärken. Nachdem ich bei meinem letzten outdoor grow viel zeit beim trimming verbracht habe, habe ich mir eine Erntemaschine gekauft (look at the video). Mit dem Ergebnis der Maschine bin ich zufrieden, da ich es per Hand in der gleichen Zeit unmöglich in der Qualität geschafft hätte. Die Blüten wurden ungefähr 2 Wochen bei guter Durchlüftung getrocknet, um am Ende wurden es 255g. Für mich persöhnlich ist es ein sehr gutes Ergebnis. Die Blüten sind schön fest und klebrig mit einem sehr süßlichen Geruch. Ich habe versucht ein paar schöne Fotos zu machen und habe meine Kreativität spielen lassen (my wife also got a great idea, you can guess which idea was mine ;D) If you have any questions feel free to ask.
