Flower tent is ac infinity 4x8 tent. With two spider farmer sf-4000. This tent has the exhale 360 co2 grow bag. The nutrients are not what each plant receives. Each stage gets its appropriate nutrients. I will be going back and trying to name each plant in the 2-7 feeding

She’s starting to smell really nice and fruity, kind of mango-ish. There are a bunch of pistils starting to turn amber as well, but most trichomes are still clear. Transitioning to late bloom nutrients, so stopped adding Gro and will be slowly decreasing overall nutrients probably next week. The damaged cola has been recovering as well, and I noted good new growth and new pistils sprouting on its damaged tip. All the other colas are growing really nicely and forming nice dense nugs.

For this reason I’m quite sure I’m going to cut in two times, around 85/87 days I’ll cut the high part of biggest bud and around day 95 the rest of the plant. my best harvest to date 🙂 I got 196g dry and cured, of which 85g for the biggest one, the one with only 3 colas; no popcorn bud, and a good general density. A nice smell, not too strong, but it lasts a long time 😏 I took the 85g of the big one + 90g of leaves (from my numerous haircuts) for a second bubble hash experiment (see vid) this time I reached a ratio of 7.1%, so not huge, but so good and powerful 🤩

What a beautiful strain Orange Hill Special is, nice and bushy, great internodal spacing, sturdy and healthy. Happier and happier with how this grow is going. The less beautiful parts on top are my doing, my blind as a bat FIM destroyed half the top of the plant. More patience next time... The super soil is still performing great and I´m pushing up the dimmer to get the ladies used to more light, very carefully because leaves are folding every time. Some of you might be happy to find my European recipe/shopping list for super soil. I tried to make it with widely offered products throughout Europe. Feel free to use it and elaborate on it. If one product is not available in your country, please check the brands at the bottom, which might be available in your country, and substitute. The only thing one could add to the recipe (which I did but forgot in the shopping list) is some Epsom salt. Fed them again with my permaculture tea, all seem to flourish and smells are starting to come from the plant, with that same distinct dankiness I had in earlier grows with this tea. See the germination page and other diaries for more info on my Perma tea. Now they were big enough, some might even say too big, to start the real training. I always love to give them a little bend the week before, to get used to the idea. With some sterilized bamboo sticks I pushed the plants down to expose their sexy undersides. Been busy so I’ve been slow to update. Thinking 3 weeks until I can chop. Gonna be a much smaller harvest than I’d like (thinking/hoping for at least 2-3 ounces) but from what I’ve seen just getting to your harvest on your first grow can be considered a success. Just gotta keep them alive for 3 weeks then I can focus on the scary task of drying. I would imagine small yield is due to beginner lighting equipment, shorter veg time (coulda gone like 3 more weeks to really pump up the roots which I’d imagine would equal bigger buds), mistakes I’ve made and uncorrected nutrient deficiency. Really hoping that they put on some more size in the final week when they ripen. I dialed back the nutrients by half for their last feeding. I think I mistook the normal senescence for nutrient burn and I got worried. EC last night when I made my nutrient mix was 1250 I think. Regardless the quality is there, just not yield. Reallly looking forward to when these are fully dried and cured to test them out. Lots of trichomes starting and the smell is great!

Two of the plants had little bit of powdery mildew so I defoliated those leafs. Also sprayed them with baking soda, liquid soap and water mixture. Hopefully we don't find any more of that. Otherwise everything seems good they are healthy and growing well.

So far, so good. I used a but of koolbloom. I'm pretty new to this, so I don't know of it will help. But here goes. Not much longer I think. May e a few more weeks. Water change on 3/9. 4 gal well water 1 tsp maxi bloom 1 tsp Kool bloom ph to 5.8. Looking good!

Week 2 —— Wednesday: Day 8 —- Started blues main nutrient feeding. She seem to be loving life at the moment. Getting bigger by the day. Run off:30% Run off ph: 6.1 Run off EC 2.4 I believe the run off ec is so high is because the coco mix I used is pre blended with charge. The reason I think this is today feed was the highest EC I’ve done and that was 1.5 EC. —- Day 9 —- Increased her base nutrients by .5ml/l it added an extra 0.3 ec that yesterday feed, but the sound of the medium Snap crackle and popping it quite relaxing. Is this the zen water at work? Final EC: 1.8 Run Off: 27% Run Off PH: 6.0 Run Off EC: Still way over what it mean to be but it’s going down, I still believe it’s too do with Ecothrive Charge being in the coco already.
