Whats up everybody! Since last week the ladies have been switched to a flowering light cycle. I eased them into the schedule over like three days just to give them a more natural transition. They all got most of their mature fan leaves removed from the bottom sections to open yo the bud sites to a little more light and airflow. After about the first day you could already see the new growth coming in and more bud sites starting to form. I also bent the dominant colas on all three plants to give them all more of an even canopy. Cant wait to see these babies start budding! I hope everyone has a Merry Christmas! 🎁🎄

The smoke is beautiful! and that is without cure. Flavours of fuel and citrus coming through, hopefully they come out after cure. Buds are solid but not that dense. But trichome covered buds to the point that it was very difficult to trim for more than 5 minutes without cleaning off my scissors. Recommend growing 4 or more of these to get a good amount on hand. very little popcorn buds. will update with weights and smoke after drying and short cure. She was a pleasure to grow! likes the calmag. so frosty and greasy! When it has been a day with high temperatures don't be afraid to feed twice! While packing on the weight she can be very thirsty. If fed well she will reward you with frosty hard nugs! Give this strain a try!

I hit it with a top dress last week after i posted: Top Dress: Earth dust 2-3-6 boost 2 cup per plant Down to earth 4-8-4 1 cup per plant 20g w-20 wollastonite 20g epsom salts 4 cups black kow manure compost Then i watered with molasses water. Day 21 is today and resin almost doubled overnight on the acapulco gold. Its getting white out on the leaves and looks so beautiful. I think the strawberry cough was getting bleached on the tops so i cut it back to about 60% and moved it up and will readjust once it heals up a but. still getting 1000-1200 ppfd evenly

Day 29 29/07/24 Monday Nice feeding today with De-chlorinated tap water pH 6. Gave her 300 ml and she had a small run off. Getting chunky in the stem now 💪💚 Day 31 31/07/24 Wednesday De-chlorinated water pH 6 today with Plagron pk13-14 5ml to 5L Plagron power buds 5ml to 5L Used 300ml of the 5L solution. I will be using these on water days from now on as they are advised to be used every irrigation. We'll see how they perform 💪💚 Day 32 01/08/24 Thursday Another feed today using de-chlorinated tap water pH 6, there now taking 300ml every evening. Day 35 04/08/24 Sunday END OF WEEK 😁 De-chlorinated tap water pH 6 today with Plagron products. 300ml each. Had a issue with leaf invaders this week, I have treated and am checking every 48 hrs so far seems ok and not progressive. All plants look great, very healthy, one of the Overdose is way behind and due to space maybe culled at flower I'll see how she gets on.

Day 27 flowering : Wow this girl want a title. She is about to go i to her 4th week tomorrow and her bud size is huge compared to the other strains. Her stacking is rapidly increasing and her while stem on a few mains is joined up. She is smelling of orange now and is very sticky to touch. Love this lady and her abilities. humidity has been a bit high due to weather pattern in uk at minute but with lots of air getting around it should be ok for mould resistant conditions. All in all a great week for the Orange girl.

I water with a lot of water and I plant directly in my mixture of 70% coco, 30% perlite. Water : tap water at 280ppm. I adjust the Ph to 6. End of Week 9 of Flower. I can just taste those buds now! The smell is intoxicating and the view is picturesque. There is definitely a noticeable difference between the two pheno's but I suspect both will pack a good punch. There has been some purpling in some of the top leaves which I expect will increase with the drop in temperature the last week or so. I cant wait to get some good pictures at the end of the week as Ive decided the chop day will be this coming Sunday. The clash of yellow, purple and green is always my favourite so I plan to capture as much as possible since the next update will be jam packed with pictures of the girls just before their chop and after 48 hours of darkness to get the last of that resin production from the plant. I will also take some pics of the hanging plants in the drying cupboard. The reason I am leaving my plants in darkness for 48 hours before they get chopped, is that it has been long belived that this practice will increase the last of the thrichome production and some say increases potency. There has been a recent study in the Netherlands which does confirm increased resin production for plants left in 48 hours of darkness (they also tested 24 hours darkness but found 48 was better) at the end of their flower cycle. The chop has been planned to be pretty straight forward where I will just be taking off the main fan leaves and leaves with no thrichomes as well as chopping off the larfy/popcorn buds which will go straight in the freezer for a fresh frozen bubble hash run. I dont bud wash my flower as my tent gets a regular clean each week and always gets a full deep clean when every harvest is over and besides, its only me and my friends that smoke it! The drying cupboard I use for drying is a small cupboard designed for storing and drying clothes which I have put a carbon filter and fan as well as a small desk fan to circulate the air as well as a small dehumidifier just incase there is an increase in humidity. So the basics of drying is that you want the area where you are drying to be dark and fairly cool (its recommended to be between 15 and 22 degrees C), have a humidity level between 45% and 55%. I aim for around 21 degrees C temperature and 50% humidity. The drying time can vary depending on strain but its recommended to dry the buds for 7 - 10 days and I will explain further about how to tell if your bud is done drying and is ready to be cured on the next post. Drying is very important as you can affect all your hard work if the conditions arent right and the bud ends up too dry (luckily these days there are ways to fix bud thats too dry) or you end up with mouldy ganja which isnt save to smoke. Its also believed that a good long dry in good conditions helps increase potency and also has been shown to reduce anxiety. Week 1 veg! So first and for most I’m glad I started the extra master kush because the previous two did not make it. So the new guy made it into the tent today. Just a reminder the master kush is photoperiod feminized seed from nirvana. The blue dream as you can tell is has gotten nice and cozy the roots are currently out of the net pot and into water solution. So I’m expecting some major growth here this week. Did a full flush and them both sit in a ph’d water for a hour then added nutes. It is def starting to get hot now so I gotta get that window unit for the shed today not tomorrow. I honestly believe my fan just isn’t gonna cut it for the heat and is better safe then sorry. My set up allows me to close the tanks off via valve to give different nutrient mixes when the auto go into flower so That’s good any question you guys have lmk. Will be getting the scrong net set up with em the next couple weeks. But def need the a/c! Cheers!
