Ginger Nut cookies & Aussie music Videos Grow Diary update 27th Feb 2020 The preflowering Stretch has well and truly begun with every branch that wasn't tied down , shooting upwards a few inches. The plant itself looks very healthy and content. Once flowering starts I'll begin to add P+K to the feeding regime. We have had bugger all sunlight here for over a week and also we have had lots of rain and wind. Daily max temps have been around the 24-25 celcius range and the minimums around 15 c. RH has been high 67% on average. That is about it for this weeks plant update . Now for the weekly Music videos. ** Last week I posted the links to three different artists who were picked by fellow growers thru the Grow question that I posted asking for requests. ** This week is back to just the one featured Artist from Australia. This week's artist is Mr Paul Kelly who is an Australian rock music singer-songwriter and guitarist. He has performed solo, and has led numerous groups, including the Dots, the Coloured Girls, and the Messengers. He has worked with many other artists and groups and is considered one of the finest singer songwriters to have come from Australia. Once again I couldn't narrow it down to just one song as he's had many great tunes but I have chosen the two with the best Music video as that is the main criteria for my Diaries Theme. Quick kush is called quick for a reason 👌, nice big indica leaves starting to grow and stretch pretty fast, i had to re pot one of the girls so one of them might look a bit sad but she will get better (its the salts) Flushing and Buffering- I am personally using Canna Coco Coir,mix with one brick of plagron coco coir(had one left). 1. Why you Should buffer your Coco. Lets get to reading! (Its Worth it for those that dont know about it) There are cation exchange sites in coco that will interfere with nutrition until they are buffered. The cation exchange sites in coco naturally come loaded with sodium (Na) and potassium (K) cations. However, the Na and the K are only weakly held to the exchange sites. In the presence of calcium (Ca) or magnesium (Mg), the sites will release their Na or K cations and lock onto the Ca or Mg. These processes are known as “cation exchanges”. Buffering coco is accomplished by soaking it in Ca and Mg. This allows the cation exchanges to take place prior to adding plants. Simply soak your coco in a solution of Cal/Mag water and the exchange sites will release their K and Na cations and lock onto the Ca and Mg. When the cation exchange sites bond with Ca and Mg rather than Na and K, it is “buffered”. The bonds that hold the Ca and Mg to the sites are very strong and cation exchange will largely stop. This means that all of the nutrients that you add to the water will be available to the plant at the ratios that you provide them. 2. Alot of growers Grow in Unbuffered coco coir and its a big mistake guys, I myself was a "victim"😬of unbuffered coco and it does cause alot of problems... now i am going to try and fix them! -----GROWING IN UNBUFFERED COCO--- Many growers are unaware of the need to buffer the coco and they try to grow plants in unbuffered coco. In unbuffered coco, the cation exchange sites will strip the nutrient solution of the Ca and Mg and replace those cations with Na and K. This creates a sub-optimal Nutrient Element Ratio (NER) and renders Ca and Mg unavailable to the plant. Failing to buffer the coco is why so many growers suffer calcium deficiencies in coco grows. Manufacturers of prepared coco products try to exploit these problems and convince growers that only their proprietary products are suitable for growing. However, it is actually very simple to properly buffer your coco yourself. This tutorial walks you through the process and provides all the information you need to turn even the cheapest brick of dehydrated coco into a superior growing medium. This lady is a beast, such a big bush full of flowers, very sweet aroma, I can't find the cherry notes yet but it's very very sweet, I love this strain, all of them have the same smell, and this pheno is just amazing, very strong and for what I can see very productive too 😍🌱❄️🍪

Looks like the plant is reaching its final weeks and has been doing great in my garden and is looking fantastic from now on pH water and calmag. looks Like it is within 1% of Amber so still a few days to go normally I will cut out all the fan leaf and a few Sugar Leaf then take down the entire plant and hanging upside down but because the place where I dry is the same tent but this time around I'm probably going to need to create a dry box cut them down into more manageable size because the other girls in my tent well take more than a few weeks I also can see how much of a difference does it make between hang them upside down and drying them like this thank you for reading I will continue to update have a happy grow

01/12/22 irrigated 1 gallon water PH 5.85 TDS 403 gave 2 quarts recharge. 01/13/22 irrigated 1 gallon water PH 6.04 TDS 403. Topped 4 more spots. Growth has picked right back up after the PH mishaps. 01/14/22 re-potted to #5 nursery pot. Set up watering system. Now irrigating itself 1 time per day @ 50 gallons. Set PH 6.03 TDS 520. 01/15/22 adjusted TDS to 499 PH 6.0 Currently have 16 tops 01/16/22 PH 6.03 TDS 505 01/17/22 PH 5.93 TDS 520 01/18/22 PH 5.95 TDS 499 topped 4 more spots.

Day 50 (22 of flowering ) flowering is really bloom ing now, i’m playing a little with lamp distance cause is a 100 watt non dimmerable so i hope to increase light to bud, they need now. Now she really needs a lot of feed. I give 1 lt every2 days. Day 51 (23 o flowering ), another 1 lt full. Now she’s eating 1 lt every 48 hours, and when she need it anyway. But she need à lot more thème before. Day 53 I had to supercrop this branch that was too close to the heat ventilation. I hope it will save the branch and increase maybe that bud. Today another 1 lt of feeding, and I think that from the end of this week is going to need more. Let’s go!

5/17/2020 so this is the 3rd week! The lil girl is looking so good. A little smaller than my other plant. 5/18/2020 No water todayvshe looks lovely! 5/19/2020 I gave her just a little 6.5ph'd water. 5/20/2020 It grew its first five point leafs 🍃 I'm pretty excited about it. 5/21/2020 I added some nutes for the fist time. Big bloom, grow big, microbe brew, Kangaroots, kelp, and holy mackerel 5/22/2020 I did a huge mistake I used table spoons instead of tea spoons. Stupid rookie move. Im pretty worried about it but ill just going to keep an eye on it.if it starts to show nutrients burn ill flush the plant. 5/23/2020 This is the end of week 3. I never thought Id see. Im glad I did this some mistakes but what new grower doesn't have them?
