Phwoah! Grow Genius silica came thru in a big way, blessing the Blue Paint crew with the rigidity we’d hoped for. One pheno has a slight curve to it and it’s now evident that they’re starting to break away from each other in phenotypical expressions by way of height, strength and leaf structure (possible variations in new growth width), but these might well be environmental influences rather than genetic. Seedling feeding regimen has been swapped out for the veg stack. The environment of the nursery tent saw a slight shift downward in temperature as the seasons press closer to winter but this didn’t stop progress, even after the Blue Paint crew got a repotting, increasing their root space 10 fold. With the increase in legroom they also got an upgrade to first class with a tent of their own as older auto tent sisters were shifted to their final grow space. Unfortunately this might only tide them over for a short while. The worry is, longer than expected flower cycles mean their final home, the photo tent, is still packed to the rafters with ripening flower and Blue Paint is coming up behind at an alarming rate. No choice but to play it by ear and possibly end up making some big purchases, drastic changes or tough calls. Ready and willing if it comes to it, fire genetics over bag seed all day long 😂. 7/3/24 - Start of Week 8, more and more purple every day. 7/8/24 - Plucked some leaves here and there. Been watering and feeding as needed. I've reduced the amount of water I give compared to previous runs. At this point I would've been giving close to 1gal. every few days. Cut back to around 1qt+ but I've decided not to water/feed on a set schedule. I'd like to flush the soil but things are going so well I'm worried I'll fuck something up.

Day 45: The plants are growing strong, and looks healthy. I do not dare giving them any nutrients yet, but I still think I will give theme some soon

So here we are roughly at end of Week 14. Some photos are from after that point as we are getting close to harvest. What can I say about these plants other than what they already are showing. I royally gave them some bad treatment with pH lockout, and still managed to come back together and finish strong. Noticing, these are all the same strain, with some clearly different phenotypes showing through. To that matter, they all are amazing and showing some real quality signs. The trichomes are almost all cloudy and I have a few amber coming in. The terpenes are coming out and the plants are finishing out the remainder of nutrients in the soil with some good flushing as well. Right now the ladies are in the dark for the next 48-72 hours. After that time period, I will check the trichomes one last time before I chop them to hang. The size of these nugs is not only impressive in terms of length, but the density is also there to back it up. These are some dense, resinous, long ass nugs! Corona virus has the best smell and smells almost like it's got a blueberry undertone going on. It is also packed with resin, which is a bonus, however the nugs are smaller than the other two plants. Big Red has the longest and most nugs out of the three. It's smell is not really much to speak of, and the resin is decent comparing to the others. Stubby has the thickest, densest and most crystal coverage out of all three of them. Unfortunately it is shorter and the overall yield is not as impressive as the other two. So they all have their pro's and con's, but I am thinking I am looking towards a decent harvest with some well grown bud. Ginger nut cookies 30th Jan 2020 I got a bit carried away a couple of days ago and whilst trying to be a smartie pants and Lst the two heads of the plant, I accidentally broke one off . In my defence I did immediately chuck the broken stem into some rooting powder and then a rockwool cube. If it takes I'll have two plants but still I was annoyed with myself. Now that I had only the one top , I topped it so that she can fill out and create more tops. This week I fed some High tea, and watered in a little epsom salts for a magnesium Hit. 8 weeks later and these girls are getting smelly! They are also steadily packing on some weight and I'm getting excited! This week the girls look to be in mid flowering stage and they were starting to show some kind of deficiency (maybe should've top dressed last week) well I top dressed last night and whipped up a compost tea for them too so we'll see how they react this week. Tuve problemas con la temperatura que estuvo alta 28/26 grados y humedad dentro de los rangos correctos, la única queja es la temperatura, 16 horas luz, 8 oscuridad, estiraron un poco, pero van lentas por el momento, que cojan fuerza.
