23.07. Blue Sunset Sherbet Day 85# The plant was at the end of its twelfth week yesterday. This morning I found it lying in the grass again... I fed it this morning, but the next feeding definitely increases the dose of TNT and I will repeat the cal-mag a little lower than today. The heat has started again fiercely… Stay High and Keep Growing!!!

Last week, first of flowering, was outstanding, I could water the girls regulary and the work paid off they stretched a lot and are looking super healthy. The girl right below the upper fan is suffering a bit with the shadows and is notoriously shorter than her sisters, I will need to rethink the air circulation for the next grow. Another concern of mine is their height, hoping they dont stretch anymore as the lights are already at maximum possible height inside tent and there is only 20cm gap between it and the plants.

I was ahead of schedule with my weekly updates so I am changing this week to the true week 6 update, photos are about a week and a half from last week update. Starting flowering nutes tomorrow after flushing all day today, seeing a lot of new pistil growth. I was hoping to have these harvested around week 10 but I’m thinking it’s gonna be more like 12 or 13 now which is fine, just taking it day by day. This week has been a lot of stretching, with the tallest one coming out at around 17 inches. I was gone on a trip for 5 days and left them to their own devices, and returned to see great growth and no signs of any issues. Humidity was at 90% in the tent when I got back which scared me but I saw no signs of stress, these girls really are some hulks. Aired it out and it’s back to a reasonable level now. I’ve been expressing my worries in previous updates about the plants growing too big for their grow area, however nothing is getting out of control and I don’t see them growing more than 12 more inches, which at max could be pushing a little close to the light but should be ok. Starting to get hints of some nice pungent smells which are different than the previous earthy ones, getting pretty excited.

This strain grows beautifully in my opinion! It has a short, stocky, thick stem and grows medium/short and wide in stature. It sports beautiful purple buds that smell IDENTICAL to blueberry muffins! These plants were an easy grow and are very disease/pest resistant. One of my favorites for sure!

This was the last week I will give them 3 more days to finish Then i will try to dry them for minimal 1 week .

Hi Gromie's Welcome to my Experimental & tent filler grow. 2 Orange sherbet FF FASTBUD CLONES that were left over when transplanting my current other FF FASTBUD clones into final 15 ltr pots. Originally had 4 left over however due to my mistreatment & lazyness at the time, only feeding/watering every 3 to 4 days, which caused slowed growth, the other 2 died & these 2 were brought back from the brink of death! Picture of them in white container next to current flower run. Transplanted from small pots into net pots, plant#1 had 1 small root protruding from pot, #2 had 1 little main root not even growing out of pot! Put them into 15 ltr Dwc pots running 2 airlines & stones per plant to give plenty of oxygen & help combat any root issues & quick growth. Hot temps as it's summer rising the same temps as environment inside tent. Have been placing frozen water bottles into pots to reduce temps. Add 2 frozen bottles per pot, reduced temps right down to around 17°c. Change bottles out twice a day. Temps slowly rise over extended period until ice melts. Experimenting with different training methods, lst ,hst Mainly super croping. Have been Hst bending, pinching stems & roughing them up.which causes the stems to grow stronger, repairing themselves along the way as well as the hst bending, I also go around & pinch/ squash the stems every few inches which really strengthens the stems & branches! In fact I've done no tying down! I've managed to create a flat table top canopy with out tying down to hold shape. Super crop them over, they grow strong stems & hold that shape, as they grow out they always start to grow back up towards the light & I continue the process of bending, pinching & damaging stems so they grow strong & hold shape by them selves. Going well & it doesn't seem to slow them down much at all, given I grow perpetually using separate veg & Flower tents makes it impossible to train through scrog net in veg! Trying to train an established plant through a scrog can be difficult & easy to damage or break branches . However I like the benefits off scrogging so looked at a way to make it easier to scrog already veged plants. This is the training methods I've come up with, taking & incorporating established training methods of various soughts to create plants with flat table top canopy. That way when moved to flower tent I can just lower scrog net over the top of plants to hold them in that shape & train through the net as they go through flowering stretch, making it a lot easier! I've come up with a name for it & I'm calling it the pre scrog ! Method of training. In fact it seems to be going so good that the plan is to see if I can scrog them without a scrog net as they are holding that table top canopy shape & have super strong stems that are solid as a rock, can't squeeze or pinch repaired stems, they are super strong, holding shape & should be able to support the weight of the buds, lower growth already lolliepoped as I don't see the point growing that lower growth out just to lolliepop it & remove it once in flower. It's similar to why I grow relatively short plants when scrogging. I see some growers growing 2 to 4 foot plants which take longer to veg only to lolliepop & remove bottom half to 3/4 of the growth, so you end up with 2 foot of bare lolliepoped stems & branches under canopy? Each to their own/I guess. I grow mine around a foot before putting into flower so there's between 20 to 30 cm of lolliepoped stems under the canopy & a foot or 2 trained through scrog net & above .

***DIVINE SEEDS ***** *****OPIUM***** Week 22 For my outside ladies, Opium, Fractal, and Lemon Cake These gals are weathered. Opium is taller than I can see (over 6.5 feet) but from my dining room window, I see the top 3 inches of her main cola is dead. Many dead leaves packed in the buds. Her colas on all stems are massive, sticky and resinous. My plan was to wash and make bubble hash from her. Temperatures should be dropping into the 70 with nights in the 60’s but have returned to the upper 80-90 with high humidity. This week rain is expected every day following another hurricane. That was the determining factor to chop all outside girls down. All the plants were chopped on Sept 12. Opium hung in the dark for 2 days and when Hubby started trimming up Opium he found dark areas deep in the buds and much of the bud mass just fell off. So both Lemon Cake and Opium have been tossed into the trash. I don’t even want to compost the plants in the event spores over winter. I hate losing any plant after I spent so much time growing them out but I won’t risk health over questionable harvests. I did an initial spot check on Fractal and she looked clean, but is being trimmed for a thorough inspection for any disease. These ladies had a long vegetative phase. Probably too long since I started them in April so they would be hardened off before I went on vacay in May. Three months of veg caused massive vegetative growth, especially on Opium deep in the buds.. The various breeder notes on photos indicate late September or October harvest. So that was in the back of my mind during this grow. All of them were in flower by early July. Light hours were over 14.5 and won’t be at 12/12 until September 26 (2 more weeks). I’m sure the plants were confused by the long veg and just said "Hell, I'm going for it" and started early flowering. I grew them too long waiting for the trichomes to develop. 👉Note for next year start seeds later in spring. 👉Plan start date based on counting back from the vernal equinox. 👉Based on such a long growing season, Autos may be preferable to finish quickly and not have extended vegetation phase before flower. I was looking forward to being daydreamy psychedelically stoned, not to mention killing my chronic pain and insomnia. I do have more seeds and will try again in a controlled environment and trying topping or mainlining to keep her shorter and more manageable. The tent smells great this week. Very sweet, pineapple citrus. Buds continue to grow with new pistals daily. Lots of crystal showing now too. I didn’t defoliate as much as I’d hoped due to hermie sighting in week 3; but they’re looking good and I’m happy with grow three so far. So much learned, so much progress. Hopefully the results speak for themselves...

She looks super heath and happy, I Supercroped her to get much more light penetracion and avoid a high height because I don't want her to be seen from the street,looks like a big green spider. really easy to grow. Had some issues in the begging being underfed and low ph issues. But still grew through all the struggles. Wasnt the biggest yield but wasn't the biggest plant. So wasn't expecting truly much. The purple pheno gave me a zip and half about. The other green one gave me a zip dry. Both smell lovely and can't wait. Will come back next week or so to update smoke report. Also fixing to make cannabutter from some of this can not wait ^_^ . Will grow it again but in a bigger pot maybe.
