Flush is on! A gallon a day each of pH’ed tap water for the next week and a half to 2 weeks. Fall colors galore incoming! One is already going mad purple as I started it on the flush a bit earlier.

It came into my head last night a migjt have been under feeding them by mixing enough feed for 10 litres of water instead of the 20 i meant to account for i will give them a full dose on the same feed as last week 4ml per 10 litre and 1ml of pk for the 1st feed tnis week and see how they look 🤯

D-56 : The girls are great, beautyful and starting to stretch fast. No deficiency, no watering or feeding trouble, the temperature is a bit high but this variety are really comfortable with temperatures between 27 and 30°C, so I maintain it around 27-29°c during the day time. The horizontal space is fully occupied already. But, I guess the Desfrans are growing vertically now. However, I'll continue to reasonably defoliate to let light and fresh air go through the canopy. As I start the second flowering week, the flowers should apear... can't wait to see the first ones !

Day 42 flowering: What a start to this update with the #3 Mango cream being ready for harvest NOW!!!. She has been maturing very quickly during the last few weeks and I have been concerned that she was somehow going towards a toxicity issue. Her buds began darkening really early in flower and I thought it looked very different to the others. As the last week has passed I have been looking at her trichrones with the microscope as they oustils had all gone majority brown too. They had mostly clouded and a couple of odd amber spheres were visible too. as the week went on I saw more begin to amber so took her out a day ago too have a dark period before trimmed for drying . She is the first I have ever had this quick in decades of growing !. The video shows her colours off well and her maturity to harvest too. @exoticseeds have a winner here. lol she smells amazing too with a really nice icky sticky feel . I will update her progress once trimmed. #1 is the smaller of the 3 remaining ladies now ansneven with the #4 beingna week behind her she is still the smallest in height. Her buds are nice and chunky and just as we hit the budswell period too , so shebshould finish with some nice sized colas. #2 Mango is a beast of a plant and by far the largest. Her main is a beast of a cola already with the side branching really picking up some size now too. A brilliant example of the strain I think. Her main is really tacky to touch and the nice smell it leaves all over my fingers is mouth-watering now. She should yield very well. #4Mango at day 35 looks very like the #3 plant for her bud appearance. slightly different pheno i think. More like a wedding cake strain but still very nice and colourful. She has been using pellets in the soil mix and just waterings but they are not good in my opinion and I have had to add megacrop to keepnher growing well now I waited as long as I dare to see if the pellets helped in flower but even using the second part of the feed has not helped. The megacrop has already begun to colour them back up to a more healthy green so i am hoping I can keep her happy until harvest now. She is pushing out a very nice fruity smell now too. I am looking forward to trying the photoperiod strains I have from exotic now and will be germinating Herz Og and Quick sherbet in a couple of weeks time for the summer run. Top genetics from a great breeder . Thank you Exotic. ###UPDATE###UPDATE###UPDATE### The Mango cream #3 has been in the dark for the past 48hrs and has now been trimmed and is hanging to dry. She will be dried low and slow now for approx 10-14 days at around 15-17°C in a large cardboard box with a steady air exchange. She has a surprising size and weight to her for such a short time from seed and is as finished as any plant i have harvested before . What an amazing little lady she has been to grow She looked a little stunted initially and soon filled the pot she was in. 20L was way too small for these genetics to flourish and at least a 30L would be my advice. Happy days , let's see what she yields dried while we wait for her sisters to join her. Be well Growmies

Day 73, 25th of November 2020: Hi! Well they are getting nice maturing buds getting bigger and all good. I love the red colour of the Red Hot Cookies. Unfortunately, Tropicanna Poison and Red Mandarnine does not show any signs of purple or red colour. Kalini Asia neither albeit, the bonsai version gets purple. Gelato is little beauty. So yes, basically not much to say. Fertilization is still the same every second day with the ratio and mixture above stated. The lamp is on 11.15 min and off 12.45 min. Last week was 15 min longer light cycle.... So every week 15 min shorter light cycle until the 5th week. So far -45 min. It switches on at 6 am and off at 17.15 pm.

Another week has flown by! The girls are doing great, cruise control this week as I have just been monitoring RH and temps. Trying to keep them as low as possible, I’ve been getting as low as 74 during the day and 68 at night. I finally took a look a look at the trichomes with my jewellers loop, lots of cloudy, and a few amber around the leaves and top colas, but still lot’s of clear trichomes. I’ve ordered myself a wireless/usb digital microscope to assist with the process, and looks like it will be here just in time to determine harvest day. 😎🎄 I started by eliminating the nutrients at the beginning of the week. I typically allow for 3-4 pure water feeds before I harvest, and at the rate they have been drinking, this should be enough to get through the 7-12 days they have before harvest. I don’t flush, but rather “rinse” with normal water amounts, allowing the plant to use up the remaining nutrients in the soil. This also allows me to recover most of the soil from my grows and reuse ♻️ with other soil mix. There has been great debate and a great deal of bro science out there for many years, but the recent studies suggest there is no difference in end result when it comes to flushing or using nutrients right until the end, if a proper dry and cure is performed. Well the end stretch is here, these girls just keep packing on the weight, and now with another feeding from my fish tank, this should push them to finish.

Day 85. First girl is down, she was always smallest, made herself extra bent in veg, but started to flower first and finished first. Never will i leave seedling pot to grow through, girl had very weak root system. She had smallest shock from moving indoors, furthest from light ... that only makes my point, i can't mix lights with my current setup, something happens with plants. Day 86. Second girl is down, no space and too humid, better chop now, than part whats left from bud rot ;))) Cure day. Girls both blackjacked me ;))) Smallest plants in my history, 42 from one i would count as not so bad, an ounce was expected, but not from two plants total ..... They smell so fruity and sweet, thats pure joy ! Maybe only joy ;)))) Grow report will be filled soon, i will cry enough there ;)))
