Day 35 - Thunderhaze Auto This last week this girl has grown a lot and is now flowering. Added Real Growers Recharge for the first time and I'm very impressed with the fast results. Light: MarsHydro 300 set @ 11" above plant providing about ~40,000 LUX at the top. Watering/Nutrients: RO water w/ Advanced Nutrients pH perfect line up, Real Growers Recharge and Terpinator. Environment: 4x2 Grow Tent. Temps low of 66 - high of 80 with RH of ~50% Soil: ~6 gallons of Foxfarm Ocean Forest w/ 4 quarts of perlite added. the plant has built an incredibly strong trunk that with great difficulty you can even shake the plant a little.The cold prevails unfortunately but the plant seems to cope with it and produ flowers

------GENERAL COMMENT------ Everything going well, the AK47 is much more vigorous than the BB, let's consider that she was more stressed. So i'm putting up the week timelapse, is a pain to do it but i found the result very interesting will try to put up one weekly. This week was a busy one, opted to a defoliation to be able to even the bud spots introducing a cage, and doing some LST, training to the cage to make a more flat pre flower spots in that way the flowering will be easier to control. So the plants grew in hight but was trained to be more bushy. We have a week to go or something about that then i will switch to 12-12. ------GG.AK47 COMMENT------ Vigorous growth, she was trained to even the canopy, with many bud spots.

10 days dry and bagged for curing. Sampled a little, the high is very heavy. Definitely growing again

A few lower leafs have yellows and shriveled but other than that both of the gals are looking good and the smell is finally started to kick in a bit. No problems at all and totally satisfied with there growth in bud size. Looking forward to this week and compare the difference.

Another great week of progression

Another good week come and gone. A couple of the girls needed nutrients so I add some general hydroponics blend into those that needed them. Didn't seem to make much difference yet. But they are getting into late flower. The purple lemonade, without a doubt, has the best smells out of the crew. Actually lemonade smelling. Plus the color makes this worth exploring more. 5th week of flower everything still looking good. Nugs getting bigger. 9/8 Middle of week 5 some of the buds are starting to flower and just thc everywhere. Will have plenty of trimmings for concentrates. Still wondering about the yield??? But see a little burn on edges of leaves. Probably go water only anyway cause still have organic toil soils working. Smells so good!! Last day of week 5 looks amazing so much THC everywhere. Looking forward to them fattening up in next week or two.

Removed the 2 Xs 1500's (300watts) & replaced them with 2 P1000 (200watts) lights, now running 680 watts. These lights fit in better & have air space all around to help cool them, these lights run a lot cooler than the xs 1500s & only get warm not hot. Started some clones.

Week 10

She is in full flower now and she will have some large tops as she is not a bushy plant.it has been a rainy last week here in my province in Canada but it's calling for lots of heat and sun for next week Keeping my finger cross

I harvested when go began to see some amber trichomes, the plant grew very well, the maturation of trichomes was quite slow. The buds are nice and full bodied and the scent is very sweet and pleasant, reminiscent of gesolmino and strawberry bubblegum.

Plain water feed started. Will feed for a week. Induce 48hrs of darkness then harvest. Buds look look to be around the perfect time for harvest. A little early vs the reccomended harvest date but overall happy with size and trichomes so see no reason not too.

Plants are doing good but humidity could be higher sometimes. I am spraying the Clones with water to keep them hydrated as long as they dont have strong roots. Clones experienced slight sunburn but nothing bad.

Hi Gromies, well sometimes I can be my own worst enemy seems I defoliated ( actually I'll blame the apprentice Urban grow cat 😺) He defoliated a little to much, it's hard to get good help these days! Anyway she got a bit of light burn directly under light bulb area. A mix of to much defoliation & I also turned light up to super lumen setting & being lazy I hadn't hooked the extraction fan & ducting up to the light ( it's an air cooled light shade) pump air from outside tent through sealed light shade & exhaust it outside. I hooked that up & raised the light around 20 cm & all is good now, some burnt leaves. She is bouncing back & grown more leaves. It may have slowed Bud development a little! I changed light cycle to 12.5 hours of darkness 11.5 hrs on to try & kick her into gear , fool her into thinking the season is coming to an end with shorter daylight hours. I may increase dark period a little more bit by bit, experiment a little, I've read of other growers who give plants less light around week 6 till harvest. She is getting a faint lemony smell. Lollipoped some of the smaller secondary branches, any tips low down not receiving much light & don't look like they will get much bigger, other than that I'm leaving her alone, probably just try & seperate any close growing colas so we don't get any Bud rot.
