Oh it was a special week. Day 21 of flower marks the Silver Back Guerilla defoliation day!!!! I left one be. For him. To prove me wrong. BUT!!! That one had some dead leaves at the bottom that needed removal, not the defoliated plants!! Time will tell as to if what Im doing is right. I stick to my guns that this works for my room. Even though I read differently, removal of foliage has lowered my rh. Could very well be outside environment, however. By day 21F the room was a bush again. In my opinion, it needed the heavy defo to breathe. As for light penetration, I am extremely happy with the amount of heads receiving direct light. Im a pig in shit Thanks for looking, I dont want to hear your opinion on defo or schawazze, unless youre SBG

The plants look stunning, beautiful strain to grow and work with for sure, I cannot wait to smoke those buds, the fragrance has instantly make me want to run her again most definitely, the stretch has been really noticeable and and both phenos have a lot of flowrs, looks very productive plants, looks like a solid strain, both phenos smell the exact same, this 4th week of flower it's gonna be very exciting, I only water 💦 the medium when dry and that's it, FLO Living soil blends does a sensational performance keeping your plants well fed all the way from seed and also provides you amazing results in terms of quality of the flowers, the smell is so pure and it makes every strain perform to its best, I'm definitely in love with this living soil blend, and also in love with this couple of badazz OG cheese guys. Alright I've updated this postmortem and cure just to give an idea of what I was up to during the dry and cure weeks. This grow was a ton of work and I'm very please with the results. I learned a ton about soil and environment control and really feel like I'm gaining confidence and coming into my own as a cultivator. I've been playing a lot with ice water hash and rosin and have set some neat goals for the future like hunting ice water hash cultivars, going perpetual and expanding the amount of canopy I can work with by building a network of remote-operated satellite flower tents in friends' and family's abodes . Days 120 - 126 (from sprout) 9/20/24 - 9/26/24 The Good Shit - week 13 of flower and trichome heads are looking far more swollen For IPM I sprayed existing mulch layer with tweetmint, followed up with topping all pots off with build a soil 3.0 and forest collected IMO's - fungus gnats almost completely eliminated overnight Pots were cover cropped with build a soil seed blend + grape tomatoes, oregano + thyme, snap peas and napoli carrots Fingers crossed harvest is on the agenda for this lady next week

Heeeey all! Sorry for the extremely slow update! The past few weeks have been crazy for me! 😱 This week I made a lot of defoliation and decided to be somewhat greedy. I'll let the plants grow a bit more so they'll stretch well during flower! So while I defoliate I'll allow the plants to recover properly! 💪 Near the end of the week I also made another mistake with Roko (poor baby! 😭). I broke another of the stems (the one that divided the plant in two, right in the middle) and I feared the worst! But so far the plant kept growing without any problems. I'm still thinking a name for my 4th baby, she has surprised me greatly and I didn't notice how many new branches had grown until I defoliated her and I'm sure she'll deliver some great buds! 😍 Anyway everyone, this is all for now.
