Week 8: Day 50-53: Things are looking ok here, could be better. Still assuming my soil is too acidic certain nutrients to lock out. I now believe what I thought was a calmg deficiency on 4AM#1 was actually a phosphorous lockout in combination with the aforementioned calmg. Day 50 I watered with PH 6.5 and got runoff around 5.5 PH. 4AM#3 was visibly worse off, and no real improvements to the other 2 either(both had signs of calmg deficiency in combination with various other small deficiencies it seemed like). Day 54-56: Seeing no real improvements in any of the 3 plants I decided I would flush them on with 6.5 PH'd water only with regulator until runoff read atleast 6PH. After about 4-5L the runoff was 6+PH, seemed to me like there was a slight build up in the bottom so the first 3L cleared that up quite nicely(runoff was around 5.7). I then fed them 2-2.5L feeding of calmg and regulator with some Biocanna Boost PD'd to 6.5 immediately after flushing. Runoff was pretty much 6.3-6.5 on all plants at this point. I think I am happy with the results of the small flush, this IS my first time indoors(last summer first time was outdoor and I never really dealt with deficiences), so not sure if what I did was correct, I just went with my gut feeling here. Anyway on day 56 now and they haven't gotten any worse, and the leaves feel healthier to the touch. Also seem to be liking the addition of the 150W COB, also decided to lower the lights and see if they could take it(they could). End of Week 8: I don't think I will get more much bulk on 4AM#1 but daaamn is she frosty as hell. 4AM#2 on the other hand is bulking up real nice, those are going to be some fat buds! And 4AM#3 seems to be a slower finishing pheno and seems like she will bulk up loads more, going to be a beast I reckon if the deficiencies didn't stunt her from the last 2 weeks(leaves felt dry and showed yellowing and spots, but are doing better and feel better after the flush).

This week, my Titans are sleeping in a cooler dark room until harvest. So for your viewing pleasure, I've loaded some videos made of the Titans during there time with me. I'm wondering what to serve at my Queens Tea Party... I made some butterscotch pistachio bars and modified the recipe for less sugar. 😋 We experimented with topping the bars with black cherry spread, orange marmalade and a mango jelly. All are very tasty as the bit of sour/tart enhances the butterscotch sweet. A few solar eclipse pics.

She is now a skinny 17 inches tall. Defoleated all the bottom crap and cleaned her up. A little newt burn last week at 600 ppm. I have raised ppm to 680 so she may not be happy come the end of the week. She will have to get use to it. I'm sure she will be fine. Added second light, so it should get interesting.

Plants are happy and coming up really nice. They were defoliated and given a good dose of S.W.A. Organic Compost Tea. See you soon for another update. 😁

This girl is only for seed…hopefully, i didn't create a hermaphrodite generation of seeds as I've heard too much seeds cause this…i am smelling the light berry in her.…i await the first ripe seed to replant.

Week2 Day 1- 08/19/2023 Weekly Maintenance- Non-Water change week Added .5mil/gal of TPS SILICA Gold = 39 gallons X .5 = 19.5mil = 20mil add She really does look great today. More roots are finding their way out of the basket and into the water, looks like where I topped her the side stems are growing out nicely. Humidity is still running just a little low, I am making sure I keep a close eye on the humidifiers and added more water as needed. Week2 Day 2- 08/20/2023 She is doing Amazing!! Her roots are in the water and she is starting to form a little ball, the leaves are doubling in size and spreading out. Overall happy with how this grow is going thus far. Lots of Prayers for it staying this way the entire grow. Week2 Day 3 - 08/21/2023 I am very happy with her growth she is absolutely exploding, the main leaves are almost as big as my palms now, and the root ball is starting to form very nicely. She overall looks really happy to me. Week2 Day 4 - 08/22/2023 WoW!! Checked on her today and she looks like she doubled in size she is doing amazing in the environment. I had did do some Topping today and that was about it. Week2 Day 5 - 08/23/2023 She is looking amazing to me. Really proud of her and her growth. Week2 Day 6 - 08/24/2023 Not much to report today, her growth is going great. I topped her in three spots. Looks nice and comfortable, Saturday Water Change Day. Tomorrow I will get all of her end of week measurements for height and all. Week2 Day 7 - 08/25/2023 Week 2 is officially in the bag, she is already at 8 inches. 4-6 weeks left depending on continued growth until we switch her to flower.. we will see how it goes but she is looking amazing and the root structure is looking great! Humidity is still a little low I added water to the Humidifiers and adjusted the input air flow down slightly. I also turned on the 4th fan to increase circulation in the tent.

Did some more LST on her and she liked it. Looks Like nothing happened to her. She's showing First signs of flowering Like getting pistols and Stretching a little Bit. I Hope she'll get bigger soon. Stay tuned 🤙🏽

8/5 (Day 49)- The start of a new week! Last few days have been a little rough and I have unfortunately been unable to keep up the post. Dealing with a back injury so it’s been difficult just to keep up with the feedings. We are looking pretty good though and starting to feel a bit better. The last few days I’ve been slowly but surely trying to get a good defoliation in which I feel was needed very badly. Opened up a lot of place for light and airflow. Messing with the back left plant and OMG my hands got sticky quick! I leaned in for a close smell and all I can think of when I smell is candy, a very sweet smelling candy. It shocked me how sweet and yummy the smell was. All conditions for the environment are stable and kept in check. The girls are taking down 4-5 gallons a day now. Will continue to update this week. Thanks! 8/6 (Day 50)- Just monitored and checked in on everything today. Starting to feel better so not too worried about the change out in the morning. Gonna up the light and ppms a bit tomorrow then monitor very close the next few days. I think they should be good. Everything staying in check. 8/7 (Day 51)- Changed res and new fresh food for the ladies. I increased light power a little as well as PPMs. Going to monitor next few days, then when my back is 100% gonna do one last round of defoliation and trimming as well as put up the trellis net. I know it’s a bit late but the two plants on the right may need it. 8/8 (Day 52) - Just have been monitoring and refilling the res today. They are drinking 4-5 gallons a day. I also did a light light defoliation. I will be going through in the next day or so to do a bit more in depth defoliation to open up for more light and air. These girls grow and recover so fast. 8/9 (Day 53)- The two plants on the right are continuing to stretch quite a bit! The left plants seem to be short bushier plants, also im very sure I could have easily dont something to stunt them and not realize, but they seem to be pretty darn healthy. Did some defoliation, I've honestly been plucking leaves here and there everyday and focusing specifically on a plant when I feel it gets too bushy. They bounce back very quickly so that has been my method along with tying some branches down and bending here and there. 8/10 (Day 54) - Wow that back right girl is really growing. She has really been stretching the last two days. Just monitoring and adding to the res every so often. They are continuing to drink 4-5 gallons a day and all conditions stay in check. I did move one fan to get more airflow through the bottom of the canopy. I feel like I have constantly been moving things around this grow, trying to get a feel of what's best for the plants. 7/2 Last week it was extremely hot (80's-90's) with cold nights. We had a severe thunderstorm last night and it's raining like crazy today. I didn't spend time in the garden as it was pouring. However I defoliated yesterday briefly. I had maybe a half dozen leaves yellow and die a couple days after the organicide application. They were mostly the largest oldest fan leaves most infected with pm. A couple smaller interior leaves yellowed and died as well but they were the leaves most infected. I assume that's normal. As I defoliated I noticed my first aphid of the season. I saw a few dead ones the organicide killed and a couple that were alive. Aphids aren't a big deal. They'll be evicted soon enough. I haven't seen one spot of pm though since the application. Maybe a little on a dead leaf but it seems to be working good. Didn't take pictures today but needed one to update the diary. Trying to upload videos but they take forever. 7/3 Ridiculously hot all last week. Extremely hot yesterday then a severe thunderstorm but it cleared to 90 degrees with 90%rh. This environment is a fungal nirvana. Still a slight smell from the organicide. I'm glad I used it though. I threw away some more leaves but this is the time that starts happening anyway. Before the stretch. With the ideal conditions I saw WPM rear it's head again. Only this time the organicide seemed to still have a residue. The PM only infected the super old biggest fan leaves and a few tiny tiny leaves on the very interior of the plant. I didn't know I had aphids but I've found a few dead on the underside of leaves I defoliated. So it seems to be working. My plants are growing towards the sun (partially due to my tarps which I need to be legal) which make airflow harder to maintain. My dad gave away my pallets this year. I had planned to put bags and supports on pallets with some sort of wheel so I could spin them. Oh well I'll do that next year in my new location. I have also found moth holes in couple leaves so BT it will still be needed. If videos didn't take so long to upload I would have a bunch. Happy growing. 7/5 Watered lightly (as it had been 90's) before feeding three gallons to the garden. Noticed some telltale leafhopper signs on a 9lb kush. The organicide seems to be doing a decent job of keeping PM at bay. The blueberry is now the worst it seems. I'm planning on another application before I try anything heavier. The fishy smell is now totally gone. Plants seem healthy and are a nice dark green. I have had some problems that have effected my ability to fully care for my girls. I have some defoliation I need to do. I also see moths sometimes in the morning plus the pm and the random munch. I guess that's to be expected outside but I need to get on top of this shit. I also have more LST I could be doing. 7/6 Rained all night and still off and on. Can't see any pm but I've found a few spots on the blueberry that could be septoria. I'm going to hit them either tonight or tomorrow with the organicide and if it doesn't work I may try a sulfer based fungacide. Took a few pictures. I need to defoliate as well. 7/7 Uploaded some duplicate pics accidentally. If I could've created the perfect environment for fungal infections I don't think I could've done better than yesterday. Hence the organicide. I was surprised it wasn't pronounced and only a little here and there. Also saw leaf hopper and pillar damage so hopefully this will straighten that out. Blueberry seems weak in it's stalk. I'm not sure if the wind is blowing it against that hard metal circle around it. It may have septoria. If it does I'll have to switch to something different or junk the plant. 7/8 This sucks. I can see signs of leaf septoria on the GDPs. This is definitely not a strain for the Maine climate. It's not resilient enough against diseases. This year has been particularly bad with 40 degree temp swings and rain then bright hot sun. I couldn't engineer better conditions. I appears senescence starts at the same time looking back over the past four years. However maybe that's just the life cycle of the earwigs. Oh yeah. I raked the inside of the grow bag with my hand and AT LEAST a half dozen earwigs came out RIGHT FROM THE SOIL IN THE BAG. I dealt with these prehistoric bastards last year and lost half my harvest. They eat other insects but the spread disease like crazy and they DO eat your plant while leaving behind the worst bacteria and plant disease. I have research to do. Like I said. This sucks. I'm changing locations next year but I need some help dealing with the septoria and the earwigs or I'll be fucked again. I defoliated anything that looked suspect. Still need to improve airflow.

Hey everyone at week 4 know and wow have these girls grown early this week I applied some LST and all took really well to say it was my first time trying this

Last week flew by beautifully, and everything is looking great! 🌿✨ To test their stress response, I slightly reduced the ladies' nutrient supply. Now, everything is back on track with normal parameters, and they’re thriving again 💪. The excess potassium from earlier has had an interesting effect – the buds have become so heavy that some of the branches can no longer support their weight! 😅 I’ve already had to set up some supports, as you’ll see in the first video from day one of the new week 🎥🌱. On day 1 I transplanted 2 BB clones into 3 gal smart pots with coco coir. I watered them in with veg formula and set up my blumat watering system with week 1 flower nutes. I raised PPFD to 600-700. On day 2 the reservoirs PH was adjusted from 6.4 to 6.0. The rez is 823 ppm. The tops are 16.5" from the grow light. The blumats have not started watering yet and I will monitor to ensure it goes smoothly. I have the blumats set at 1.25 carrots on left plant and 1 carrot on right plant. The average PPFD of my 16 tops is 703 PPFD. I increased temps to 85 day 81 night to get leaf surface around 80 f during day. On day 3 the reservoirs PH is 6.2. The rez is 782 ppm. The blumats have started watering and I will monitor closely over the next few days. On day 4 the reservoirs PH was adjusted from 6.3 to 6.1. The rez is 717ppm. On day 5 the reservoirs PH is steady at 6.1. The rez is 706 ppm. The highest top is 15.25" from the light. I defoliated to bring in more air and light to deeper into the canopy. I increased the flow rate of blumat by .5 carrot on the right plant as it was a little to dry for my liking. The Clones are preforming well. On day 6 the reservoir PH is going down so I adjusted up from 6.0 to 6.2. The rez is 730 ppm. The highest cola is 14.75" from the light. The left plant had a runaway so I reduced blumat by 1 carrot. I increased flow of blumat on right plant by .5 carrot as it is still drier than I would like. On day 7 the reservoirs PH was adjusted from 6.3 to 6.0. The highest cola is 14.25". I reset rez with nutes.

So after the hailstorm last week, one of my colas were broken. I taped it together and used wire ties to hold it together and it has survived. It continued to grow an inch and is flowering! I thought for sure I had lost this cola. I also used the "question" forum here on grow diaries regarding my broken cola and like the responses I received. We have had some very cool nights and warm days but my Skunk has continued to thrive. The one thing I think is very interesting to notice is how crooked the buds look on this plant. Is it because I grew two colas or because of the trauma from a broken cola?? I have no idea but time will tell. Please like and comment and come back!
