Day 66 - Today i fed her, kept same feeding as lat week, will only feed acti-vera every couple times. She´s been very healthy im very happy. Im still confused about the "rust" spots, but it´s not spreading. Day 68 - These last couple days was cloudy. Today probably will rain. She´s smelling :) Has a very fresh greenish blueberry smell. Day 69 - Today was a hard day. I woke up and the bottom leafs were yellowing and she wasn´t happy. Is it N deficiency or overfeeding? Or maybe fading already? Will keep a close eye and watch how/if it develops. Spotted leaf septoria and removed infected leqfs right away and also spotted some rot in one bud, which i removed. Cricket bites are exposing the plant. Let´s keep strong and help the plant fight and recover. I need to get neem oil Day 71 - Today i fed her, but now i am doubting myself as im thinking i should have flushed at least once with ph´d water. Is she fading already at this stage? I´ll work to keep things in control. Today i also slightly defoliated her, removed inside and top fan leaves that were shading the buds mostly to also improve airflow, as buds are getting shaped. I also want to keep leaf septoria, bud rot, and other diseases away.

As you can see now I am batteling crazy hot temperatures. She is already crazy sticky and has this typical Guava smell. Strwaberry with Pear. I am proud of this plant which has been moved around all over the place and she still will give me a nice yield of yummy Nuggets.

It's been a pretty good week for this plant. She's definitely in the bulking and maturing stage now. I was pretty surprised at how much purple coloring she started to put on throughout the week. I think she's going to be a fairly pretty plant by the end of the grow. She's building trichomes nicely and seems to be handling her environment and feeding schedule happily. I think she is a beautiful strain, but man is it a pain in the ass to trim here and there, and to LST. Her stems were always very fragile no matter what i did, not to break but to bend. Stayed short, and grew bushy, I couldn't get them to strengthen up. But overall I would say its pretty to look at and grows densely and might be worth a try.

Really happy with how things are looking, despite expecting slightly larger buds. I think next time, I'll defoliate and lollipop a bit more to focus the plants energy on the main tops. It stinks like mint, skunk, and sweet. Really nice trichome coverage, lots of dank buds in the mix here. Even the lowers that aren't getting as much light are looking dank. I started the week out around 500ppm and steadily dropped to below 400ppm. The ppms kept creeping up every time I'd drop them...so I kept dropping them to see where it would stabilize. I ended the week at 381ppm. In preparations for harvest, I'll plan to steadily reduce the ppm to about 200ppm, rather than doing a flush with RO. I'm working with really great starting water between 50-80ppm, which absolutely requires CalMag at .5 to .75 tsp/g.

1/22 Week 4! Folded in some CalMag temporarily for a slight def showing up in Jool, foliar of same on all. Recovering nicely from topping will decide on 2cd later Jool recovered her normal color in just a few hours after feedings. Can pull the Cal-Mag for a while. Thought of increasing nuets a tad to 10ml but no need to rush just may have to hit them with Cal-Mag once in a while. Time to hit the roots again 10ml/gal Kangaroots one feed only 1/25 Leaving in a small amount - 2ml/gal - of Cal-Mag with CocoTek more for peace of mind than anything else Keeping them small till I have a place to flower then... then we pour it on. 1/27 Continuing to walk the line between keeping them healthy and keeping the size down - working ok so far Growing nicely although some concern found on Zhaan, feeding pattern on just the two tops shown, no where else. Nothing seen , sticky trap put up will check often for further. Not grabbing the Soap just yet see if anything else pokes up 1/28 Sticky trap clean so no flying critters Think hes right about strange leaves but I want to add I may have done some of this during topping. Just from what I see Bit of a conundrum the plants are near-ish to the size we wanted to flower them at BUT there is no room at the Inn, (sativas...) so we have one path to getting this done. Keeping them as small as we can without risking defs for another week then beginning the flowering in the veg tent Moya while the sativa finishes in 2 weeks. Thats one week of flower in the small tent at best, not sure about that. I swear two tents and one is a 4x4 and still space problems... good to have that problem too 😃 That's the plan but we know there is about a ton of crap that will go wrong like that sativa taking longer. Re-eval in a week Feeding remains as before 1/29 Pic and vid to end week no further issues and the tent is now full. Good problem to have but its convinced us that flowering in Moya is problematic Raised lights to 24" to see if they will go up instead of out for a while. Defol the bottom end of the plants just a bit in attempt to encourage some vertical growth with that as well.

Gorilla Cookies is growing well. Making some nice progress. I had to give them some organic calmag because that is all I could get locally but it seems to be working. pH has held steady and the leaf color is looking great on all the plants. Haven't had to do any maintainence this week other than defoliate a few bottom leaves and spread some branches out a little. Plants are growing bigger than I thought they would so I will have to figure something out to get them spread further apart soon. Just going to keep the juice pumping and the lights beaming. Hoping to get them under the QB lights soon. She is 28 days old in a 16 oz cup. No roots have grown out of the cup at any time. No roots have been trimmed or touched. Happy growing everyone!

C and D dont seem to be doing much growing. E is doing well. Fruit flies are still around. Bought a fly sticky trap last night so hopefully that works. Not an easy thing to find when its snowing outside.

She is rapidly eating nutrients and I am having to change solution about every 4-5 days now. In DWC when your original nutrient solution starts off at 12-1300 PPMs and then drops below 400 PPMs within 4-5 days, it becomes hard to understand what nutrients the plants has taken up, as this number may never get below 2-300 PPMs. So when to change solution outside of a schedule depends on a few factors, but most of all - observations, and records of the individual plant. You have to look for the subtle differences. Is it getting a little light green before changes. How does it respond to an early change, etc. The more you observe the plant the more you will learn about it. So far she has been exceptional! The temperatures, humidity, and watering listed in the grow conditions are averaged for the week. The pH listed in the grow conditions is the soil pH. Nutrients listed in that section are ml/gallon of soil. I didn't include water in grow conditions as it rained almost all week. I watered one time and listed in the daily updates. Day 1 we had sunshine and a lite breeze. Day 2 and 3 we had sunshine and a lite breeze. Day 2 #3 plant succumbed to her injuries, R.I.P 😥 Day 4 we had rain showers I'm the morning and throughout the day. The plants roots appear to have found the ferrous sulfate I added last week 💚 Day 5 we had rain in the early morning, drizzle and afternoon showers. I added an additional 50ml of ferrous sulfate top dressed. I also spread just enough peat moss to cover the ferrous sulfate to prevent the rain from splashing it onto plants. Previously the rain splashed granules of ferrous sulfate onto the leaves, burning them. I used 50ml or 2ml/gallon of soil. as I've only got about 25 gallons of soil. I'm waiting to top off after this excessive rain is done. Day 6 we had intermittent rain, drizzle, and mist throughout the day. There's a bug haunting plant #1. I can't find it, so most likely a cricket or grasshopper. It's beed feeding on this plant since day 5. Stakeout for the kill has begun. Good news on day 6. The ferrous sulfate has brought the soil pH down to 6.3. There's still a small phosphorus excess but these girls will grow into it. Day 7 we had rain all morning into the afternoon. Pots are soaked. The insect, I suspect to be a cricket, remains a pest. It ate more of #1 plant on evening of day 5. Despite the adversity these girls are growing. Plants doubled in height this week and overall the week has been a success.
