Trying to dial their veg in. Nutes may be too old or too high. Changed with 4ml CaMg per gallon of RO water. The rest is MaxiGrow. Ever since adding rockwool to the grow, I have struggled. I don't have the dry back timed right yet. I moved my fan to dry the top of the pot surface instead of in the root zone or at the canopy height. After about 10 days I dumped out the rockwool and have replaced with hydroton. My initial though on using rockwool was to give the roots more space during late life stages. My experience has been with hydroton and I notice that the roots eventually get bound because the hydroton is a durable material and will not crush or compact. Rockwool on the other hand will compress when squeezed so I was hoping that in the late life stages the roots would compress the rockwool and make more room in the pots. The issue was dryback. If I used chunks instead of croutons, this may help but the other reason I used them was because I had them here already. If anyone is trying to slow their dryback down, they should consider adding 10% volume of croutons to hold moisture in the medium a bit longer. Notice anything different? They are starting to adapt to their new media. Hopefully by next week I can get them to perk up. One plant has looked better than the other three. I have no idea what these plants need to “perk up”. Possibly a different grower. If a grape terpine wasn’t in the end results I would have culled these long ago. Hopefully they perk up when we get to flower. 3 look ,,,, meh, the fourth is descent. Trimmed all four back down to 12” tall. Flower next week.

Sept 23rd - could be the last week for Thai 1, checking on Thai 2, tomorrow morning 28th - THAI #1 has been harvested, trichome shots showed that web are there, and THAI #2 probably gets Chopped today as well. Pictures being finished tomorrow morning, then out to see #2 29th - Thai #1 weighs 4.6lbs in a single piece and that is how she hangs for a week - Thai #2 was chopped 15:00 will be hanging shortly

The thrips infection is gone but there’re still a lot of damaged leafs as you can see in the photos/videos, but the growth hasn’t slowed down which is good. Anyway after I did some research into the big bang strain I found out that the company that sells this strain recommends “flushing” for a few days every other week starting from day 16 of flowering. This is meant to speed up bud development and I think it really did something here as the buds got twice as big. But I didn’t exactly follow their recommendations as it calls for watering the plants with large amounts of water and letting the soil dry for a few days and I don’t feel comfortable with that, so I watered them every day but made sure the soil was dry.

Well folks, this was a PPFD and CO2 controlled grow and I didn't use any bloom boosters like the Big Bud or Canna Boost etc.. Results are crazy. I managed to collect over 760 grams of dried and fine trimmed nugs. The flowering lights is the LEDWisdom Coral 600W IP67 water and dust proof grow lights. For the first two weeks, I used Rosa 400W and Rosette 200W grow lights from LEDWisdom. When Coral arrived, I changed the light setup so the total lights used is 600Watts. Anyway Coral grow lights have near 3.0 umols/J efficacy and makes your garden yield like crazy no matter what. I'm sure I would have collected more if I used a bloom booster but I wanted to show you guys that you can achieve great results with a great grow light even without flower boosters. You can check my other diaries growing with the Rosa 400W and Rosette 200W. These lights are also killing it and they have around 2.7 umol/J efficacy. Lights were drawing 590 Watts from the power outlet on the wall so I can say that the whole grow yielded more than 1.3 grams per Watt. These strains are not heavy yielders except the Chocolate Chunk but I only had one plant of this strain and she was the smallest plant in the tent. It didn't affect the total yield much. Pink Kush yields are pretty standart but the quality is exceptional. On the crossbreed strain, yield was slightly more than the Pink Kush plants and the yield from each strain is like below; -Chocolate Chunk: 80 grams -Pink Kush: 320 grams -Purple Punch x Pink Kush: 360 grams I made some COB's and also some kief and has with the trim. there wasn't much to trim in the end because I kept my plants in good shape. This was a joy to grow and now I have an amazing stash of high quality dried material stored in vacuum. I'm ready for another pandemic but I hope we won't have one 😅 Wish you the best of luck in your garden. Stay green 💪

Everything was fine. So I started to bath each pot by using a fermentation nutrient by using beneficial bacteria, mycobacteria, some Orgatrex, different mycorrhiza's as 36 hours fermented potions with 2 liters/pot. Oh I forget to tell You, as You can see in the Video the water drops 💦 on the surfaces of their leafs @ day 23 I used Boom Boom Spray too for preparing the next stage of powerful photosynthesis by raising up my SanLights @ 300 µmol/m² s. Second video was @ day 26. I raised up a little natural CO2 from 450 ppm to 550 ppm. So they were prepared for more powerful photosynthesis coming up the next days… Critical Orange Punch and Amnesia Zkittlez showed some typical nutritional sensitivities some phenotypes of Sativa dominated strains can show @ the way to powering up the system. Light tops on the head of the leaf area. But again: “Don’t panic, it’s organic.” Also @ day 26 I started with my preferred technique of LST by mainly just pull down a little, the biggest fan leafs, so the little Life-hungry drives were able to came through and got enough homogeneous ppfd for uniform growth rate too.

Things progressing steadily in the tent. Smells us developing daily really stinky in there at the moment. The Apple kicking out a really pungent chem smell. The banana giving off a sharp citrus smell and the cherry a funky fruity smell.😍😍😍

Buds are swelling up coming up to the final couple of weeks in flower. Will push for another week or two as trichomes are now mostly cloudy. Some of the tops have been pulled out slightly just to try an increase light penetration

Plant are under the structure i build. It will he used to provide shade, protection against moths and shelter from heavy late summer rains. Every now and then plants were trained through LST. I watered twice a day about 2% of total volume.

3 weeks of flowering behind us, the girls are growing up and two Strawberry Bananas have pulled out, but otherwise it works .. There's still something to catch, I just don't know why the tips and leaves of the young branches are twisting? He poured clear water here and the rest got a normal planned watering.

********* Week 7 - January 20 to 26, 2020 (Days 43 to 49 from seed popping) She is taking shape more this week by getting taller colas and thinning out between nodes.......oh yeah, and fattening of buds😜😎 It was also not without learning though and thats what is so cool about growing this plant.......you always seem to leave a grow feeling like you could do even better next time and therefore challenging yourself to do better......and have bowl while doing it😂 Her nodes are getting taller and giving herself room for packing on weighty buds👍 If left to one cola should be a fatty!!! But then I would be freaking about potential bud-rot....so I am cool with it. Since LST though it will be interesting to see how well she fills in six😳 She has the makings of being a good producer......its up to the grower to now to keep her happy😬 and see if she packs on the weight with roughly three more full weeks to go?? Missed opportunities in CalMag showing.😰 Left a lot of leaves and two branches that should have removed. Potassium excess contributed to by grower learning Terpinator and Massive.😰 Main stem should have been a little lower......further opportunity to improve👍💪 Got a little crazy with the PPM and felt I knew more than the nutrient company and went above the recommended max by roughly 30%😰😎😭 Yeah.......dummy! She seemed to react well and nodes standing up and didn’t show much outwardly as signs of overwatering😬 Reviewing some of the photos this week I have seen the first small parts of a few hairs drying and turning colour.......no full hairs and not on every bud but enough to say they are first ones.......three more weeks?? Curious.....time will tell.....seen Jan 26, day 49. (49 + 21 = 70.......makes sense.) Feed will stop next week.....by end of my week 8. In the week a head there will be the last push to get her medium in as good a shape as my skills will warrant. Jan 21/20 - Day 44 - AM - 3L with Dual Fual A&B @ 1.5ml/L. 725ppm and 5.9pH. - PM hit her again - full feeding minus Rhino Skin, Sensyzime and Vitrathrive and VeloKelp. 2.5L 1000ppm and 5.9pH. - Runoff - 950ppm and 5.6pH. - top leaves were droopy so the extra feeding in the evening. Jan 22/20 - Day 45 - Backing off quantity a bit and down to 3L feed in PM. - Mass & Terp @ 3ml, Rezin & LW8 & DF @ 1.5ml, CalMag @ 0.5ml = 1300ppm - Very perky today....standing up all the way down the plant. Liked the feed yesterday. ******this was likely the mistake feed looking back********left the ppm too high and should have added in RO water to bring down around 1000ppm! Jan 25/20 - Day 48 - 4L of full strength feeding for this week. - ppm for that was 1275 so watered down to 1100ppm.....only need 1ml of base nutes at full strength to hit roughly 1,000ppm. - Runoff: 900ppm & 6.05pH....happy with that. - she is 28” x 28” now - Her cola growth was strong, taller for each of the 6 She is in fattening mode….feed her 😀 Jan 26/20 - Day 49 - So no surprise when you push a girl you find her limit. Tips burnt this morning.😥😔 - 6L plain RO water pH to 6.2 - Followed right away with 2L RO water with Sensyzime @ 2ml/L. - Runoff: 465ppm. - She responded very well to this and all tips were up still in the evening.....no over watering signs. - Removed about 15 fan leaves and 4 lower bud sites. - guessing only another 1.5 weeks of feeding. - not falling to sleep an hour before lights out anymore either😀 Happy growing fellow enthusiasts and thanks for the time to read🙏🙏 (scrolling back through diary to update........damn.......that is a lot of bottles during these weeks!! Hey! Just back well They are getting better and better soon need to start to flower them. Fertilization happens 3x a week with the mixture of Biobizz family (Biobloom, Topmax, BioGrow, Epsom salt, Gunokalong extract.) They grow as hell. 600W LED, 18 hours on 6 hours off, 200 ml water per plant a day, humidity approx 35 percent. Day 53: They are bushy keep doing LST on them. Day 56: I constantly do LST for them and also some lollipopping so I removed the bottom unwanted leaves especially the yellow ones. From tomorrow I provide darkness for 2 days and then Monday the beggining of the 9th week I will switch to 12/12.
