D68 (28/01/2021): First official day of week 6 in bloom and first official day (second in reality) of pre harvest flush. The smell is strong when I open the tent! It does not take long for the whole room to smell dank and even outside the room.

- RH: 49-52% light ON ; 49-50% light OFF
D69 (29/01/2021): I did a first proper flush today by running approximately 2.5 gallons of water trough the medium. There is still a lot of nutrients in the medium. I might do the exact same flush tomorrow. The PH of the run off is high (around PH7-7.1). This is an other reason to flush again tomorrow. I also reduced the light ON schedule by two hours. So now 18h hours ON and 6 hours OFF. I will continue reducing the ON period until they are ready for a complete dark period. I also try to reduce the air temperature.

D70 (30/01/2021): I did a second flush since I was not satisfied with run off PPM of yesterday. Today, the run off PPM is under 300 which is what I wanted. The run off PH is still high with 7.1. Banana Kush is ripening with the pistils slowly turning brown. Glue Gelato look sooooo yummy and I can't wait to harvest it. There is a small color change in some leaves but I'm expecting more in the next days.

D71 (31/01/2021): Glue Gelato is changing color. I'm checking trichomes everyday on both girls and no amber yet.

D72 (01/02/2021): Well well well...the clock is ticking for those girls. Glue Gelato is now having a couple of amber trichomes. Banana Kush don't have any. Overall Banana Kush has less trichomes and fluffier buds. This girls is not ready yet but I will need to chop her down at the same time has the Glue Gelato because my drying space is the tent I'm growing in. I will try to push the Banana Kush to ripen faster by lifting up the lamp at 16 inches from top bud and by reducing of 2 hours the day period for a 16 hours light ON and 8 hours light OFF. But at least all Banana Kush trichomes looks milky.

D73 (02/02/2021): I gave water probably for the last time today. Trichomes on Glue Gelato are starting to amber on top buds. Not a lot of amber but you can see that all the trichomes are starting to degrade by curling down slowly. Trichomes on Banana Kush are not amber at all but they all look milky. Glue Gelato is ready to harvest but Banana Kush need more time. It's tough to make a decision to chop or not since they are not at the same stage of growth. I want to place them in a complete 48 hours of darkness before harvest. 1h less light today for a 15h light ON and 9h light OFF. The lamps are now at 20 inches.

D74 (03/02/2021): Glue Gelato is ready for 48h of darkness. I will take her out of the tent and place her in an other room without light. I will try to maintain a proper environment in this room and if it smells to strong or if the condition are not good I will replace her in the tent and both will start the 48h darkness. The idea is to give Banana Kush 2 more days to ripe and swoll more. After 48h, I will chop Glue Gelato and place her in the tent to start drying. Banana Kush will then start her 48h darkness. I don't know if this strategy is good but I will monitor everything closely and react if something is wrong.

This is a test-grow of Barbarian, a cross of AK-47 from Serious Seeds with Barbara Bud from from House of the Great Gardener (HotGG) made by Mat, the head-breeder of HotGG, in Canada. I had the honor of getting three test seeds at the Cultiva-Tradeshow in Austria and could not wait to start them after I got home. The two test-plants were grown on soil under HPS and alongside my normal grow of AK-47 plants inside a big Secret Jardin tent and fed with Advanced nutrients.

Added a photo of the whole tent including both plants from both diaries, next diary will most likely be a 1 tent 1 plant.
Buds are swelling slightly but still airy and not dense.
Leafs are bleaching more, next week I'll do a complete refill of the tank and will be going a little easier on the KMPS because it adds to much K.
Had some trouble with a minor leak through the top of the tube because it was filled to the rim due to a lot of roots and really long netcups which block the tube, next tome netcups which are not as long and rather wider instead because the current ones are choking the stem which IMO is a good and bad thing, it stresses the plant so it produes more but also chokes it a little and the stem rips at the base but it heals.

What can i say the maui is charging it handle my little heat problem this weekend alot better than my TSA plant (trans siberian auto). I topped her once and have her tied down im gunna try and let her veg until the TSA is almost finished then ill flip the light schedule just so she can grow up big and the autoflower still gets 20/4 for most of its flowering stage. Im thinking about scrogging this plant im going to let it veg for a really long time so everything can grow up sortve tall so when i flower it i can make it a giant. Ill vaeg it until my tsa is harvested than flip it.

Ya entramos en la 4º semana y que feliz estoy😃
A pesar del mal tiempo, la pequeña Zami aguantó bastante bien y con muy buenos resultados para lo que cabía esperar 💪
Ella ha estado dentro de casa cada día de lluvia y cada día nublado pero con su aporte de luz correspondiente 😎
Tengo que decir que cada día leo más y más sobre el cultivo de estas bellezas y cada vez estoy más enamorado de ellas y con muchas ganas de comenzar diferentes proyectos 😍
Como digo, estoy aprendiendo muchísimo sobre este arte y poco a poco vamos a ir aumentando la información a medida que vaya aprendiendo cosas 😎
Esta semana, tuve la suerte de comprar un termo-higrómetro para controlar tanto la temperatura como la humedad y un medidor de PH y EC para el control del agua y los nutrientes 🙌
Por suerte, esta nueva semana vienen buenos tiempos y mucho sol, con temperaturas en exterior de 25-28ºC (77-82,4ºF) y HR de 40-60% 👏
Sus noches, ella duerme en un cuarto totalmente a oscuras durante 10h sin ninguna interrupción de luz y con una temperatura controlada de 20ºC (68ºF) y HR 50%.
No puedo darle más horas de luz porque no puedo controlar el sol 😅 cuando pueda controlarlo os lo comunico 😆
Por otro lado, su PH Sigue correcto, por el momento PH 6 así que intentaré mantenerlo por ahora. Contiene una EC de 1.4 (700 PPM) por lo que también estoy feliz. Iremos aumentando esta a medida que vaya creciendo y pidiendo más. Por el momento va perfecto 👌
Siempre me gusta comentar que “Zami” escucha música todos los días y se la ve muy contenta y agradecida. También la cuento historias aunque no estoy seguro si me viene mejor a mí que a ella 😂 el caso es que tenemos muy buena relación, yo hablo y ella escucha 😊
Esta semana la toca cambiar a la maceta geotextil 11L de Zamnesia. Es cierto que a ella no la gustan los trasplantes y puede que se estrese un poco, pero su casa ahora es demasiado pequeña (3-4L) para crecer fuerte y sana 😕 Esperemos que responda bien al cambio y no sufra mucho.
El cambio se debería haber hecho antes, pero no tenía la maceta y tuve que improvisar 😥

ACTUALIZACIONES DIARIAS:
Día 22: La pequeña está empezando a coger mas fuerza por cada momento y está pidiendo mas agua. Hemos aumentado de 0.3l/día a 0.5l/día dándola un pequeño aporte de nutrientes 2 veces a la semana en cantidad de 1ml/l 💪
Día 23: Hoy se ha levantado mas contenta y bien espigada, lo que me hace madrugar y levantarme de muy buen humor cuando la veo 😍 es una maravilla. Hoy el día se presenta muy bueno con temperaturas entre 18-30ºC y HR entre 30-70%. El sol a salido desde las 7 a.m y durará hasta las 9 p.m (14h de sol).
Día 24: He regulado el pH del agua a 6 exactos para tener una mejor conductividad de los nutrientes ya que hemos aumentado el PPM a 800. se la ve muy sana y feliz. Hoy a empezado a oler muy muy rico, pero todavía muy suave. Está empezando a dar sus primeros pasos de adulta 😄
Día 25: La pequeña Zami crece sin parar y parece que responde bien a la subida de EC. El tiempo esta jugando a nuestro favor con unas temperaturas bastante buenas que se mantienen entre 25-30ºC. Ella comenzó la semana con 8cm de altura y en mitad de su cuerta semana tiene 12cm 👌
Día 26: Es increíble el crecimiento que esta llevando a cabo. Acaba de sacar sus primeros pistilos con lo cual parece que esta respondiendo bastante bien a su cuidado. Una maravilla 😊
Día 27: El ritmo de crecimiento sigue siendo muy bueno, los pistilos siguen aumentando. Me preocupa unas manchas que le han salido en las hojas inferiores que no se muy bien como identificar, esperemos que no sea nada 🙏
Día 28: Parece seguir creciendo sin ningún tipo de problemas y las manchas no van en exceso. Todo va sobre ruedas y el olor es una auténtica maravilla. Deseando ver de lo que es capaz esta Gorilla Glue de Zamnesia y con muchas ganas de empezar su 1° semana en floración. Espero que siga portandose como hasta ahora 😊

WOW! lol they keep plumping up. most have slowed down but some of the colas are still noticeably growing.
The plant on the right is quite a bit different then the other two. much shorter and has different looking colas. much more rounded. Also this plant has lots of white hairs on the main colas. Is this a sign they are still growing? how come the other 2 only have a few white hairs and this one is loaded. another distinction is that this plant hasn't really started fading yet. it has a few purple leaves but doesnt have the fade like the other 2? weird? why this plant so different.
I'm quite nervous still but its all good, its just because its foreign to me. most the trichs are clear but theres a growing number of milky ones and the odd amber one. this is for the top colas i've been watching.
I'm stoked to see the harvest. theres 24 yo yos in there holding up these massive colas!
The flush should be any day now. I'm still confused as to know when i'm a week out and to start the flush?!? I understand harvest is when mostly milky with a few clear and amber. I cant believe the crystals on these ladies. its absolutely insane! also sticky as all hell, amazing!
I'm very excited, the big day is coming up very quick

Everything is looking good so far. Plants have really exploded in growth since the flip and are filling out the screen nicely so far. We will keep tucking till she stops stretching and hopefully get most of the screen filled. We flipped her a bit early In the screen fill stage do to a shortage of stock so we need a quick turn around on these girls cause even in Canada with legal weed it’s hard to find good medical grade that’s not ridiculously priced at a legal store. Wayyyyy cheaper to grow our own. Water was changed out at beginning of this week as well and nute’d at 3/4 strength with Remo flowing lineup and UC root at full strength. These girls are also the early version so should be 45 days or so apparently.... we will see...lol

Went with only the bloom360 nutrients this week. One gallon of water to start the week. Plants seem happy and healthy with a few little bud site hairs starting to show up. We’re looking to make a leap in some vertical growth and more bud sites this week. Many colas on both Plants at same level. So, we seem to have broken any dominance there.

Day 36/Flower Day 8 - Starting to get them girle bits showing now. Stretch is still unreal but the smaller nodes that have crept up to the top are thickening their branches so that’s a good sign they'll hold something and if not, have a spare elasticated SCROG net for support, which will DEFINATELY be needed by the looks of things!!! The main branches are sitting near as thick as 1 of the stems of my last grow so these girls are definitely sturdy and strong growers! If only they didn't push for the roof!!! Apart from the one SCP (#2) that is staying squat in the back corner...sub nodes getting up there but the "tops" staying low and bushy!!!
When I start to see a few more flower sets/bud buttons proper actually forming, I'll start inching up the lights to 13/11 over the week...still tempted to start it now but thinking best to wait til the bloom nutes get upped drastically (which is next week - will be upping them by about 50-60% volume). Feared a bit right now that the extra light may fuel some stretch rather than fuel the flowers...but then again, having the plants acclimatise to 13/11 by the time the buttons are forming may not be bad...but then again, that 13/11 may slow down their formation!!! Choices and Choices!!! Was expecting the flower initiator would have knocked some time of the pre-flowers showing (can't think now if nodes were asymmetrical before flip...honestly couldnt have vegged any more though...or could I???) but nope, hopefully the buttons start to set quickly now though.
Apart from that, all going well so far. Been a bit of a drop in the temps outside and clearer nights so hopefully that helps bring day temps and night temps down a bit - bringing down humidity some too. Need to restart my CO2 Jug now for the flowers and keep on watching them grow!

Well this week was really stressful, one of the girls started showing stress in the lower leaves right after I attempted some fimming on her, the nutrients I was waiting for haven't arrived except for some calmag which I think they are lacking... Topped the rest of them just today, hopefully they'll respond better than their sister... thanks to anyone reading this, happy gorw!

Welcome back to another week, finally decided to flip to flower as these girls do grow pretty quickly in DWC. Aiming for some nice quality buds bit also a decent yield of at least 1 gram per watt of light.
Nutrient solution has not been changing to complete flower schedule yet but I will be sure to switch it over in a few days. The crucial part now is keeping the EC and pH in a good range to avoid any deficiencies or Nutrient lock out.
Let's see what the stretch brings the first few weeks. Stay tuned, and I'll be back for the by the end of the week to report some video feedback.
End of the week has ending with a heavy defoliation session. Plants were getting bushy and covering potential tops so that needed to be addressed. For now, it will be selective defoliation once they have recovered, which should be in 2/3 days.

Finally no problems at all. GHE nutriens really doing their job, plants love it! Girls look happy and healthy, going to use dehumidifier to control RH.
