1.7.2k24 Power roots Alga Bloom Plagron PK 13-14

[ Introduction ] Welcome to my first ever grow journal! I have been growing medically for the past couple years, documenting some of my grows on my Facebook and Instagram (@OnlyTomatoes) pages, as well as several cannabis cultivation subreddits. I've found that I do a lot of things differently than other growers, so I'd like to share a full cycle publicly in case I have the answers to somebody's questions. [ Updates ] Day 4 - Lights have been lowered to 18 inches off canopy, dimmed to 25%. They've recovered from both their transplant and their topping, new growth looks almost perfect. I'm going to keep the accidental sunflowers for a few more days and see if there's any significant difference between plants. They all received a foliar spray of neem, kelp, and a bit of calmag before lights off yesterday. I expect to be able to remove the remaining damaged leaves by the end of this week. Day 7 - Lights increased to 30%, C02 increased to 800ppm, getting ready for week 2 of veg. Fed today, fairly low EC (<1.5) blend of Silica, Calcium, Kelp, Molasses, and Tribus Grow in a mixture of R/O and tap water. Very little runoff at 1gal per pot. Will most likely foliar again before lights off with a light fish hydrolysate mixture to help with any nitrogen issues. Any dead or dying leaves you see are from pre-transplant, I'm just waiting a few days longer for the existing rootballs' ph levels to swing back to a healthy range before removing all that unsightly growth. I'm really not sure when I'm going to remove the sunflowers growing in some of the pots, I've seen no negative effects yet. I could flip group 1 into flower if I wanted, the canopy is level and beautiful, however group 2 will take a while longer to fill a canopy. Normally I would never allow pre-veg plants to have such obvious deficiencies, but constant hand watering led to some poor nutrient decisions on my part. They've been in their final pots for a few days now and were topped on day 0 of veg. I plan on lowering the lights to 18"-24" within canopy around day 3, I'm just allowing some extra time for the roots to really dig in. I've found that a batch of dirt that was used had sunflower seeds in it, possibly winter food storage from an outside rodent, so I'm debating how long I will let these sunflower seedlings grow alongside my plants. They do make a good cover crop with amazing root systems, I just don't think that really applies in pots of this size where plants can choke each other out.

Buds are stacking nice. Resin productivity has increased. Will introduce dry Koolbloom soon.

Last week we have had a little more growth as they have filling out. I’ve been through and gave them their week 3 defoliation and lollipopping (Blue Gelato 41 & Gorilla Zkittlez on day 21 of Flower, Peyote Cookies & Cinderella 99 on day 22 of Flower). This week was also uneventful, growth has been slow and I'd say its half my fault with PH issues and over feeding which I'm correcting moving forward; and two unstable genetics. I dont have much info on growth patterns for this strain but its supposed to look a beautiful dark purple so I'm gonna breed a male and female hopefully. I'm also looking forward to the fourth phenos straits, I kind of hope its different just to have fourth completely unique phenos.

This grow is going to be really interesting. I have never grown sativa dominant hybrids before because I was always scared I would not have enough room. However, last season I had a really good run growing VERY short plants (see Mighty Minis) and it got me thinking, why not. So here we are; I'm growing 1 Blue Dream and 1 MelonSicle this round. Both are Sativa hybrids so I am hoping the stretch will not be too intense; no more than 2.5 original height before flowering. The blue dream I bought with the previous rounds of clones I got because I have herd that if trained well, this plant can PRODUCE. The plan is to continuously top, and train until the MelonSicle has caught up and is ready for flower. I will have the room to flower about 2 months from now so this Blue Dream is going to be a 2/2 table top by the time I am ready. Very excited about this one, also a little nervous.

Day 34 Gave her a flush and fresh nutrients. Added a little maxibloom. Switched lights to 12/12. Nutrients per gallon .5 tsp maxigro .25 tsp maxibloom .25 tsp armor si .5 tsp calimagic .1 tsp 90/10 humic/fulvic acid Ph to 6.0

She grew 9cm this week. Doing her thing, no input from me other than watering/nutrients.

So...eine von den 2 Pflanzen ist ins große Zelt (150×150cm) gewandert. Da wird sie von 7 l Topf in 10 Gallonen Stofftopf mit living soil (dieses mal Rezept #1 "coots mix" von Jeremy) umgetopft. Living soil "kocht" gerade. Nicht dass ich living soil Fan wäre (geringerer Ertrag) aber wenn ich wieder zwei Wochen weg bin, kann ich einfach nur Wasser tropfen lassen und die Pflanze bleibt gesund. Ah ja...Terpene sind evtl. auch besser...das konntd ich bisher aber nicht unter Beweis stellen. Die zweite Pflanze die anfangs auch auf dem Balkon war, ist immer noch im Freien unbemerkt...mache da demnächst Bilder P.S. hab jetzt Video und Bilder gemacht. Wächst nicht so schnell...aber die Farbe und der Glanz sind phenomenal

Trainwreck is now an established strain in the history of cannabis, now we can see how it turns out on the automatic one from Zamnesia. Remember that we are growing a plant worked with the techniques indicated and another left to grow without pruning to preserve its speed; in the previous/next diary you will find the other plant of the same variety. In this diary we find worked with the Main Lining. Topping at the second internode to create the MainFold, growing shoots worked parallel to the ground for another three internodes and then topped again. We have removed the branches of 1 internode on each side and topped the remaining two branches on each side. Slow down the use of nitrogen during this technique, you may not need everything recommended by the manufacturers. nl 12g sk 27g rc 50g Watermelon weighted in at 54grams after about week of hang dry before jarring but after cleaning. Now been in jars for few weeks, been fully usable, thou not fully dry, harvest it self was might fine vs earlier, and i got so much stuff from this tentful it will last me a year with my current dosing plan (using to alleviate certain symptoms)

Plants are under Scrog now and are beginning to fill it out. I defoliated again. And watered twice with transition to bloom level nutrients. Lots of molasses and I added bat guano and worm casting top dressing. I also added nematodes, and predatory mites to the soil as I find this keeps thrips from ever getting established. I had taken one of these plants and placed it into flower directly from seed to see what it would do and It has grown some very nice flowers already that started turning a deep purplish red at 2 weeks.

Veg box is starting to flourish. Both lemon and sativa clone are very bushy and healthy. All others are healthy as well, and will be topping these soon. Once they start shooting again they’ll be transplanted once more and thrown into flower to start my first “sog” grow. Two ladies in flower are well. One still showing burnt and curled tips and I think flower growth is slowing down. The other is happy and well. There were two babies out in flower last week, one turned male. The other is happy and healthy. Until next week...
