I bought a small dehumidifier - but somehow it's not doing what I'd hoped. I've defoliated a bit as the leaves are overlapping and moisture is accumulating there. NYC Sour D #1: Lost 2 lower branches. No drama, but I felt bad. #2: Still slow growth and very compact. Royal Cookies Auto #1: Still the best strain. The first pistins can be seen. #2: Also good plant. As well first pistins Royal Haze Auto #1: So far ok. No pistins to be seen yet. #2: Has lost a side branch. But it was a somewhat smaller plant anyway. Let's see how it continues. Light settings 50% dimmer at 50 cm distance Between 650and 970 ppfd. Small yellow leaf tips. I think this has more to do with the nutrients than with light stress. I don't add any fertilizer, but I don't have to water much either. I'll be on vacation for 11 days from next Wednesday on - I'll water 2 liters per plant before vacation so that the neighbor doesn't have too much to do. He'd better take care of the ventilation and humidity.

Me quedé algo corto de nutrientes pero estoy muy contento con los resultados, cada vez le voy encontrando mas su punto optimo. Siempre es mejor quedarse corto que pasarse.

happy new year, everyone! plants are thriving, stretch is happening and the experimental is showing buds already (it's been switched one week earlier) 😊 --- another major defoliation done – Barney claimed that lateral branching is heavy and it's indeed 😂

Overall i am satisfied with this strain and I do plan on buying more seeds from Barney’s farm. Very strong and stable genetics I highly recommend this strain to experienced growers as well as newbies. Very easy to grow and a great smoke.0

18.07 watering with 400ml - 400ml - 400 ml Blueberry got only water Trainwreck got Bloom, Top-max and Fish-Mix All the others got only Top-Max and Bloom. Search everyday for some spidermites or something else. On some days I find a few on blueberry and Biscotti. I remove the manually. 21.07 watering with 400 - 400 - 400 water. Again: blueberry only water All the others Top-Max and Bloom Trainerwechsel started to flower. The leaves of Blueberry and Biscotti started to get yellow. Also removed some leaves with were down in the shadow of the top strains of frosted guava.

D22. First day of the fourth week, one week away from the automatic flower switch. Strong grow, 28cm high and more than 30cm spread, they made 10cm stretch the last three days since last watering on day 19, today the leafs were pointing down and the digital tensiometer was measuring 71mbar in the bottom of the pots. Today I watered again, this time instead of the usual 500ml each I went closer to 5% of the pots giving em 1L each pH to 6.0 and kept EC in 0.9 from base of 0.4 cal-mag, used biobizz grow, hygrozyme 1ml/L and bactohemp, lowered pH with phosphoric acid. I'll start to LST anytime but today I just cut off everything in the first floor to clear the base since it's already in complete shadow. Next step will be to guide them in order to achieve a flat canopy. The lazy plant is getting stronger everyday but leaf color is diferent than their sisters being same strain, will see how she end up next weeks 💪 D25. At three days from fifth week and official flower switch they keep growing strong like 35 to 40cm high and 35 to 40cm spread but after some leaf anomalies and after watering yesterday I saw something weird in the yellow sticky traps, they were full of black pigment and after check em under microscope they seem to be thrip infestation that I gonna treat with foliar phyretrine and neem oil on the soil but meanwhile I put four more sticky traps. On yesterday watering I made leaf juice mixed with cal-mag, fertilizer, bactohemp and hygrozyme, the reaction when aerating the mix was huge! I got the lazy plant higher to be able to receive similar DLI as her sisters but it still keep growing lazier than the others. I hope the fertilizers arrive in time before flower switch!

I mean, overall this was an extremely painless grow. The test of whether we should or shouldn't top autos is still TBD imo. Our topped candidate produced denser, frostier buds, but weighed slightly less, at 14 grams of bud total. And our lst plant produced 18 grams of bud, not as frosty, and almost as dense as our topped girl. I'll be topping autoflowers from here on out only under the circumstance I have 4+ to grow at the same time. Seems like it could be used to speed up the autoflower grow cycle if done properly, like with right. Since I'm doing a perpetual cycle, it's still a viable option for me in the long run. A few tips I have for anyone growing this strain in organics: Start feeding bloom nutes a little bit prior to flower transition - this makes the transition more seemless. From weeks 1-3 flower, I slowly dropped the grow dosage until I cut off grow nutes week 3 flower. Starting the flush around week 6 flower seemed to really bring out this plant's potential. But I think you could get away with starting the flush around week 5. I hope this helps anyone trying this strain out. It's a good one, I hope to see more journals of it, eventually. Cheers everyone! Tuesday Ok so the plants are doing really well. One of the kalini Asia plants is in the only regular pot I’m using now. It’s a little larger than the AutoPot XL’s so therefore the plant is slightly bigger but spread out because I topped it a while ago and today I took all the bottom leaves as well as quite a few of the lower lateral branches that well small and weak. Hopefully this will encourage the energy to where it want it - The main growth tips! I think it was the other kalini Asia that is in the AutoPot XL that I ended up ‘super cropping’? Do correct me if I used the wrong term. The main growth stems were quite a lot higher than the large lateral branches so I squeezed the stem with my finger and flopped the main colas over then taped them and tied them to support them. The canopy is MUCH more even across all plants now. They look a bit bent over at the moment but I bet when I look tomorrow they are all facing the light again. Magic! They are def in the stretch phase now. They are growing like crazy. I’m really glad I did the nasty job of pulling each plant out and tying it down and cutting off the shit that won’t grow anything good. Oh I also gave them a watering from the top using lots of microbes (ecothrive biosys) and molasses dissolved into warm water. The res was basically empty and honestly the AutoPot XL’s don’t even look wet at all on top even though they are getting all the water they need. They don’t react negatively when I occasionally water goodies in from the top so it’s all good!!

Hung up my new California Lightworks UVB supplement light. I think I originally hung it a bit too close (18 inches from canopy) based on the subtle color change in the leaves, so I raised it up to 24" above the canopy. I was most certainly skeptical, since this is my first time using UVB, but even over the course of its first week under the bulbs I've notice a visible increase in trichomes. Now I guess won't know whether or not this would have happened anyway, but the sticky diamond coated buds sure are making me smile. 😁
