I think I was wrong about 2 weeks or less. Looking more like 2 weeks from now from what I can tell from the trichomes. Jack and Jill still growing strong, skipped one day of watering, they looked about half dead. Big girls just getting ph’d water every other day, J&J getting watered everyday, with their first taste of nutes on 12/19. Still trimming underneath the canopy.

Run-off got pretty high on the plants in the main tent when I tested it this week (2300ppm) so I flushed the plants down to around 900 over a few water events with half-strength nutes (~450). I think this, plus (mainly) the plants being too close to the LED caused them to throw some foxtails - particularly the middle plant (although I still think that spindly shit is also partly due to the bag seed pheno). Noob mistake on my end and I didn't realize until it was too late. Now the light is turned down and the run-off is back in a good range. It got high because my auto-watering halos were mostly running off the pots and not sinking in - this is because I filled the pots to the brim with coco (another noob mistake). Looks like I'm hand watering until harvest :) Big Mumma in the blurple tent on the other hand is still killing it.. Apologies for having to upload videos of the microscope - too hard to hold it still and press the button for photos lol.

7 months after planting her from seed the day is finally here. A little earlier than I would of liked due to insects (crickets/grasshoppers eating buds) but she's thereabouts finished. Probably lost 1/3 of buds from the chewing insects but still a big yield and my drying room is full 😊 She survived two rainy season's and some serious wind from a tropical depression back in September. I have kept this grow completely organic so no pesticide or chemical fertilizers used. Apart from heavily amending the soil at the start I mostly fed her crabmeal once a month and seaweed and molasses in most waterings. A few of those waterings were diluted with my urine 😆👌 NPK right!? Why not.. then at the end I added a cultured pro biotic yogurt to the soil 2 days before I harvested. (Tip from a fellow grower @med_in_tropic - thanks bro) Not sure if it made any difference as I cannot compare with another plant but, the plant starting smelling like lemon furniture polish.. like a lemon scent with a fuel undertone. Almost menthol like 🤷‍♂️.. smells amazing. Me and my wife drank tea from the trimming and the citrusy flavour came though into the tea which was nice. Weather wise the temperature is down now to around 16c at night with RH around 50% so the buds should dry much slower than the last harvest so I should get a better flavour profile. Smoke report to follow after she has been in a jar for a week or so.. I did try a bud sample a few weeks back and the taste then was already pleasant so for sure this will be fire... 🔥 Thanks for all the kind comments, this was my first ever grow start to finish. Day 75 she’s in the dark ice flushing looking beautiful as ever. She smells Devine. I can’t wait for her to finish up so she can get the chop. Her trichomes look so good I can’t even start with her. Beautiful looking lady.

Moving forward, blooming nice, this second gen is taking form and gaining weight. A few weeks and we will have a nice harvest. Tent is nicely populated and filled. Once i have setup the “semi scrog” it has conformed to it in a couple of days and did a massive difference. It really opens the canopy and create a huge surface to take advantage from the light as opposed to letting it go naturally. I’m defining the technique as semi scrog because i did not setup the net in a traditional early way knitting in veg... It was done later.

May 21st - start of week 8 flower for the A.G. & C.G., they have their own deadlines approaching so there will be some pics shortly of the trichome status on all 3 plants. - a week behind the other 2; BlueGod has a shorter schedule and is under the spotlight now that its been flushed - a/c & dehumidifier are now in service and I will be getting the bugs out of the system re: “limits” with fans, temp & humid targets, heaters etc. - just giggling about how beautiful all if this bud is. Something has gone incredibly correctly this grow. *** FOR THE FIRST TIME EVER THERE ARE NOTHING BUT REALLY SOLID NUGGETS ALL OVER THE PLACE !! That, is a first - flushed plant will receive waterings w/ Rezin & Molasses till harvest. -going to push a.g. & c.g. with one more big feed tomorrow. ~ 6L ea. May 23rd, - often i make little comments about how small each of the plants are; and 1 of the key reasons for that... is that I only Vegged the plant’s for 5 weeks, and then still controlled height with HST... these plants are and have been an amazing grow, but next time they get Bigger b4 the Lites go Out !!! May 24th, Trichome images required a little bud from each plant. And the Acapulco & Colombian plants are the furthest from harvest, but both did show a few Amber trichomes. Together I shredded the 2 (a.g. & c.g.) buds and put them in a hot dry place for the day. After dinner and on a whimsy i rolled them up & did I ever get stoned/baked from a couple small buds from the adolescent plants. Famous but young, and did they ever Kick. That was so inspirational from a couple of legends. Cannot wait for a special harvest and a critical cure ! May 25th, the number of Amber trichomes on the Acapulco absolutely lead it directly to a flush on Thursday evening. End of week 8 in Flower. Hopefully the amber sweep is not too aggressive, it would be nice to milk this one along until the leaves are golden... - And of course, the Colombian is just Soo damn full of crystals. Clear crystals with equal amounts of Cloudy ones and a flash of Amber on the Fringes. CG gets flushed in 9-10 days as per the schedule. We’ll see what happens May 27th, - woke the Acapulco Gold up early and gave it a good shower ~ started its day early with 24 gallons worth. The feeding ingredients above are still the same for the Colombian Gold - 2 Flushed plants; will be fed as required with water containing 2ml/L Rezin & 2.5ml/l Molasses

Well I love this Ya Hemi hits very strong. Shit is dank and stinky and WILL put you on your ass! Trying out a totally new way of growing for me. Also to help with costs I decided to make a 5 gal tea reactor, to grow out the EM1 which will save me about 75% on all microbe products, and also save on feralization when used in conjunction with foliar sprays. Using grassroots LivingSocial pots and a new full organic mix. Fingers crossed as we get on the ya hemi organic express!

One starting week 3 the other is starting week 2 of Flower both looking great!! I love these seeds seams only thing not consistent is tall or short and I need to Test to confirm CBD to THC ratio!

Purple Punch am 26.12.2024 Tag14 / 11.01.2025 Die Pflanze ist kompakt mit saftigen Blätter. Habe sie mir unter der Lupe angeschaut, es gibt nichts was mir Sorge bereitet.

Last week I finally did some lollipopping and defoliation. I had too cause humidity went through the roof and foliage was dense and wet in the mornings. Also fed with the amendment. 5 liters of worm castings, with bone meal, some microlife. Some bud growth started but also trichomes are forming and a strong weed smell is developing in the tent. The growth is far behind compared to the other two though. Not as many buds and the plant is overall more flimsy and has hollow stalks. The very slender leaf growth leaves me to believe that next to being the runt all the grow, the gorilla doesn't seem to enjoy the high feed environment. It also really doesn't respond well to scrogging, it keeps reaching for the light, It remains the odd one out in the tent. The buds are few and far between, I'm not very hopeful this one will produce the grams needed to keep my grams per watt score high. The other two might well compensate for it, we shall see.
