It’s been an accursed year for the grow cycle and we ran in to pretty much every problem you could have with these plants. Aphids, WPM, bud rot. The plant grew strong but the genetic does have some inherent fasciation qualities that were really prevalent with this plant. Not enough to consider unsuitable for breeding though. The bud quality of this strain alone and the overpowering high are just too good not to utilize👌🤟. Stay tuned - the rest are comin down in short order…

Holy Stromboli is she going crazy with the trichomes but to be fair every strain I have ever grown from Mephisto always has a ridiculous amount of them so hats off to them but I gave her a big boost to bloom juice this week as this is peak week for her flower development so I am pushing her hard looking forward to seeing how big and beautiful she gets but let me know what yall think gromies!

Second run with these genetics, I ran her last time in a 5.4 gallon container, I got the grape pheno, higher yield with the first run, but much tighter nugs with this run. This one smells much more earthy/gassey and less grapey. I ended up with just under 26 zips of nugs, 2 zips of Larf which I will turn into canna sugar, and my buddy made a 35 gram brick of bubble from the trim. It should be dry in the next few days and I'll post a video of the squeeze, hoping to get around a zip of rosin which I will split with him since he turned the bubble...Super excited to squeeze some nugs once the cure is done, Ill post vids of them as wel. Next run I'm planning to try and cram 2 plants inside a 5X5, build mainlines, and flip by week 6 or 7....Switching to two 315 W CMH bulbs up top, and LED's on 2 of the sidewalls for supplemental lighting. Week 7: Two days post flip to an 11 on and 13 off light schedule and she is already showing pistols. She is loaded with bud sites and had zero issues bringing her into flower. I added a trellis net to the tent to help even her keep and even canopy. 8-9 week flower time so the next two months should be fun.

Very Nice looking and good Smelling Plant. Buds after Trim are medium dense but very tasty. Flavourwise it goes into ripe Berrys with a hint of Citrus and Soapyness in the background. The Plant looks exactly like on the pictures High-Giraffe-Seeds shows on their website. All in all definetly a recommendable Plant to grow.

Week two of flower is here and the first pistils are popping out all over the place. I am pretty pleased with how the training is going and the grow overall. I will here give a report on each plant. 1) Back left plant. Growing very well, the most lateral branching of any plant of the four. multiple additional colas popping up to the canopy level. 2) Back right plant. Growing very well, however almost no lateral branching. Aside from the four main branches and the two lower nodes, there is almost no secondary growth at all, which males this plant a really bad candidate for scrog. To try to encourage more brancing I have topped one of the branches. I do my best. 3) Front left plant. Great growth here, very similar plant to the first. I did accidentally snap a cola off today while training. Whoops. 4) Front right plant. Very similar to the first and third, except she is four days younger so I'm quite pleased that she is holding her own in this scrog. How am I doing so far? This is my first time scrogging, and I am sort of winging it. If you see something wrong please tell me, or if you see something right! Day 8: Fertigated 5l each. Day 10: Photographed and applied defoliation and LST training to continue the scrog process. Day 12: Fertigated 5l each. I will do a final tucking and defoliation in two days, then I will let the girls grow from there in. There were storms all week and with the fact that they spent almost the whole week under stress (they were also under heat stress a couple of days before), I am certainly satisfied with the progress. On Tuesday, they were watered for the last time, with clean water, then it rained, and the next day it rained all day, since then they have not been watered, as soon as the soil dries I will feed them. fighting the thrips, they dont make a difference to the flowers , it just looks shit on the leaves, also you have to keep a very close eye on the ph. Tall one is having a big munch on the nutrients I change the reservoir every monday 💦

Very easy plant to harvest, didn't have too much leaves, so very easy to take out fan leaves and prepare to dry.

I can't stress enough how aggressive some plants are when it comes to needing insoluble nutrients! I was seeing light bleaching and yellowing of new leaves, thinking it was heat and light intensity. After transplant into much bigger pot with heavy amendments and a few days time, plant is fully green and almost as tall as I am! Pistils are pink/red/white. Aroma is quite subtle yet but doesn't have the typical Marijuana scent, more like handling a literal strawberry plant and those strawberry candies that have the gel inside when the room gets humid after watering. Structure is sturdy but side branches have stretched alot. I feel that this plant will have fewer budsites but those flowers will grow full and dense. I can't wait but will give this plant maybe another week of veg light hours. I'm at 13 right now and with the recent addition of a 24W UVa bar I custom made and the Emerson Effect still, transition should be quick but I honestly don't know...maybe my spectrums are keeping this plant vegging? Idk All I know is this is an awesome plant that really has no issues still but now I know to keep up on fertilizers. 1.5" of vertical growth each day and plant keeps showing me each morning that it wants more water and ferts! Every day, full strength nutes and it doesn't burn! I am seeing very clear runoff so ferts are sticking and being used while the Molasses is chelating whatever might runoff. This is good!! PH stable right above 6@ feedings, next day down to 5.95. I just can't get over the never ending changes in aromas this plant gives off; today being fresh HoneyCrisp apples! I took off 30 minutes off lighting schedule so now the rest of this week should be fast, then slow. We might see pom-poms next week.
