The pistils on all plants are getting more and more brown, its time to check the trichomes now. I check with a handheld microscope and they are getting milky, but not yet amber, which means they are ALMOST READY TO HARVEST, but not yet. The amount of crystals produced under the Q6W-Gen.2 LED-lamps from SANlight is astounding, the plants are coated in trichomes! This week I stopped giving any nutrients in order to FLUSH the plants, this is VERY IMPORTANT in order to get a smooth smoke of the dried end-product. The aroma of the plants is VERY STRONG NOW, they smell mouth-watering. The Shiva Skunk has a sweet, musky smell with a fresh citrus note to it, its a delight to smell those plants. The Serious Kush smells EXTREMELY fuely and gassy, like the OG-Kush, but with an amount of buds like the White Russian, its FLABBERGASTING. I cant wait to try those two strains...😎

First full week of flowering and they are finally on

This was the last week of Veg for these beautiful ladies. Installed the SCROG on Sunday afternoon, and they are already filling it in nicely. Started reducing light Thursday by 2 hours, so by Saturday they will be on a 12/12 light cycle to finish them off 🤗. Did some defoliation, and have been twisting and spreading the tops to fill the canopy screen. They are very thirsty, I had been watering every 3-4 days, and for the past week it’s been 2-3 and they are getting close to a full gallon each! I’ve Upped the light % gradually over the last 14 days from 50% to about 75% now in prep of flower. They have been responding well to the increases, as well as the extra heat generated. Temps are going up a bit, close to 81-82 degrees on very hot days here, but they are not too often. Average is about 79 degrees. Nutrients (P and K) were increased also in prep for the demand the flower makes as they begin. Looking forward to the good part. Happy growing 🇨🇦❤️🌱😎💨

She’s a thick one! Looking pretty good. I top dressed her with a 4 teaspoons of epson salt. She’s showing signs of magnesium deficiency. I’m still nervous she was pollinated by the Blackberry moonrocks that I had to cut down early. So I’m checking her several times daily.

First, I'm just going to say I'm done with the construction of my new growroom. The room is 2.14 meters by 1.7 meters and has a ceiling height of 2 meters. It provides a floor area of ​​3.6 square meters. I use a 54 Watt Lightwawe T5 for germination and 2 Pcs 400 Watt HPS lamps. Yay... NorCal Cannabis Cup today & tomorrow up in Santa Rosa. Gonna load my bud buddy in the car and head up there this afternoon for the Phil Lesh show. One day is enough. 😎 It's only the 2nd ever licensed cannabis consumption event in California ... so come be part of history if you live anywhere in northern California. ------ The Durban girls are doing quite nicely. Leaving them out in the sun for 30 minutes today to do a little acclimating before I head up north. It's HOT today by recent standards but the wind is light. Three of the 5 gallon girls will be moved outside permanently in about a week. The 3 gallon container and the (former) runt in a 5 gallon pot will grow inside this summer.... and we'll probably flip the lights to flowering as soon as everybody gets moved outdoors. ------ For heights this week we have the 5 gallon girls are two at 19", and one at 18.5". The 3 gallon girl is at 15", and the former runt is up to 9". Fed all the girls today because I won't be home early from the show tonight to feed them then. ------ Updated to add some photos from the Cannabis Cup in Santa Rosa. It was a LOT harder to consume alcohol at this event than ANY form of cannabis. Big fun.

So this week after I gave it under nutrients I apparently gave it too much nitrogen while having a potassium deficiency. Shiney dark leaves, So i fixed that, but some didn't bounce back, and I tried nitrogen. I think they are doing pretty good considering everything I've put them through SO FAR. lol. Nutrients are NPK Raw's total lineup, follow their instructions at first, Fastbuds adjustments as of this week.

Dec. 4 - Week 9 begins. Dec. 6 - I removed some dead and dying leaves. Dec. 7 - Photo update. Dec. 10 - Timelapse uploaded. This poor girl, the sometimes infrequent waterings may yet be her demise. In the video after the plant droops the leaves come back much more yellow since they're being sacrificed for the greater good. I've been aware that plants do this for many years, but I think it's still pretty neat to watch happen over just a few seconds.

Day 36, 25th of October 2021: Week 6 ;) First day of the 6th week.... This week is not about LST anymore it is FIMing week that means all of them have FIMmed on all of their "heads" so like each plant approx 6-8 times.... Together, they have strong smell even without flowering lol 😆 So yeah, Mastdoson Kush is still the same very strong and resistant I beleive they won't strech that much so no need any Topping for them. They should stay short and bushy hopefully with nice buds :) RQS girls: Gelato Cookies 🍪 is amazing nothing really changed she will be I think a larger lady when starts flowering. I am not sure about streching but I reckon a double size maximum. I am very satisifed with this genetics lovely and first class. Northern Light for me looks a bit tiny but little bushy so we will see it is obvious that she does not need Topping at all for her midget style... There are nice branches but she has got some deficiency. Hopefully it won't effect on her performance in the future I am so curious about her. It is okay if she won't get large -large but I expect a chunky lady at least :) Spliffs Seeds ladies: Well, CBD Medi Kush is my favourite lady from here she will be another strong and big plant I think. Very cool I like this one even the smell already amazing! Smooth chill.... all good 👍. I think she will be a problem free strain in the future but let's see ;) Afghani Gold typical bushy midget Indica with fan big leafs 🍃 nice creation she will be nice as well, I don't reckon with big strech :) We will see what comes and obviously I am excited here as well. I wanna see a chunky lady. Hopefully she will fulfill my dreams lol 😆 Spliffs Strawberry 🍓 the typical Sativa with that "saw blade" style leaves... Well, here I am afraid a bit of streching as she just FIMmed and Sativa however, I beleive she will be cool with that :) She looks pretty a bit lighter in colour. Honestly I don't really have big experience with Sativas mostly Indicas and hybrids but I am pretty sure that I can handle the situation. I know it will take a bit longer for her to flower and also she won't be the chunky numero uno but I still expect great things haha :) Blue Berry she is the hybrid lady and still looks a bit pale for me obviously she has got some deficiency but she will make it let's see what comes when she turns to flower.... I am excited 😁 I wanna give them several days before the darkness period which is 3 days and the from next week switching to 12/12. They are FIMmed only so it doesn't really stress them to give them much extra time to recover before flowering. I think it will be the right time to switch on the next week because I can see they really want to flower 🌼 ☺️ 😅 But for now lamp is still 18 hours on, set to be on 150W (approx 60% of the max) ventilation is on for 10 minutes in every 2 hours but the extraction fan is 18 hours on with the lamp... Humidity approximately is the same 50% and the temperature as well +/- 1-2 Celsius. Water intake increased approx 0.12-0.15L per day per plant. Fertilization is the same Epsom salt once a week, and then 2x a week Biobizz Family included BioGrow, BioBloom, TopMax and of course - Vitalink bat gunao also. Ratio is above. So that's all let's see 👀

21/4 a beautiful plant, but this time the growth of the branches, had problems turning into each other! until it looks like a single bush !. now it's taking shape, because I cut all the extra leaves and twigs that were blocking the light. I look forward to!

On day ten I did my first feeding at half dosage and lowered the lights from 21inches to 18, ladies responded really well. Notice growth by the next morning. On day day twelve I did second feed which went well. Did my third feed on day thirteen, which did not go well, 5 hours after feeding I notice leafs were cured up, I brought the lights up to 21 inches and fixed the problem. Light burn. Day fifteen I tried LST which did not go well since this was my first time doing this. Day 16 ladies where back to normal so I did Fimming and see how that works out for me. Wish me luck.

Harvest day 74. 10g dried after 4 days. Little plant and little yeald. Didn't respond well to topping, problems with over feeding in late flowering. Also began to foxtail in last week, probably due to 40°C at daytime. Will update the smoke test curing.

Put a lot of love into this grow. She grew for 4 months from seeds to harvest. About 5 weeks and 56 days of flower. Overall great strain to grow and great site @growdiaries for giving the platform and help from other growers. I’ve learned so much about growing and especially about this strain.

Day 15 18/07/24 Thursday De-chlorinated tap water pH 6 with calmag 5ml -5L. I have scratched back surface soil, and topped up with canna terra pro and DyNoMyCo ✌️💚 Day 16 19/07/24 Friday Lite Feed today, 250ml each pot small run off. Seeing excellent start to these babies. Let's get it 👌💚 Day 18 21/07/24 Sunday De-chlorinated tap water pH 6 with calmag 5ml to 5L. Watering in 1L each day from now. Updated video Day 19 22/07/24 Monday Nothing new to report. Starting to see them beautiful fans appear that's all 😁✌️ Day 20 23/07/24 Tuesday Feed today, giving them straight all nutes Inc flowering nutes.
