Welcome to my Royal Gorilla Diary This grow will join the RQS outdor grow contest at later time, I hope i get lucky and bugs won't eat it. After receiving contest box, i asked about germinating indoors, after confirmation i popped a seed in the soil. Germinated in pot indoors (gift pack was massive! see pics), after germination i put outdoor but i kinda forgot her. This one is growing together with a small tobacco plant to keep some unwanted insects away, i want to add some dill and coriander soon. So our royal gorilla is in her second week already, and she looks pretty healthy. Soil is reused soil with new fertilizers added to the soil. I'using a mixture of dried cow poop pellets and chicken poop pellets to give the soil some renewed power. Most of this is in the top layer of the soil (watering from above) so nutrients can be spread extra during watering. This should be enough for the first 6-7 weeks, so when the buds start to take shape we can start with adding some mineral nutrients in addition to the organic feeding.

10/04/2023 Day 54 I've been adding Ripen in the mix lowering Flora Bloom. Started at 1.4 EC. Added 4 to 5L of water to refill the tank lowering progressively the EC, today 1.2 EC. Will follow the strategy till Thursday, then will empty the tank, and fill back with 12L and only Ripen, for 1 week. Then 3 days with GHE Kleen.

The FBTO1 is on the left. She is transitioning to flower and stretching pretty fast. I have been plucking some leaves from the top to get light to as many buds as possible. Also cleaned up a few lower branches that were never going to make it to the top. Going to keep plucking a few here and there as she stretches. I totally neglected their water running it 2 weeks without checking it, but I kept an eye on the leaves and there were no issues. I gave them a flush and fresh nutrients today. Started them on a little maxibloom. Will probably start some liquid Koolbloom next week. Excited to see what kind of flowers this girl puts on. She is under a galaxyhydro 140 watt but there is 1000 watts total led running in the room so she is getting some extra light from those. Nutrients per gallon .5 tsp maxigro .25 tsp maxibloom .5 tsp calimagic Ph to 6.0

Last week was fantastic, they grow a lot, they are now in full flowering. im dealing with the management of the new and bigger colas, im thinking of putting the same orange fence on top and using it as a ScrOG trainer, ill try this in the next few days , ill put more pictures with the testing.

Day 23 of flower, 50ish remaining. Alright, another smooth week 😁 Got some sugar forming on the leaves that looks pretty and is getting me excited 😁 I started using the Co2 this week as well as the terpinator. Might invest in an oscillating fan to help distribute the co2 better. Got some colas forming (I counted very roughly 75ish main colas). The leaves also really have that distinctive sativa appearance. The trash basket to hang the co2 is a great idea if your thinking of one in the future. Not much of a smell really yet. I DO have one question this week tho. Should I do a little defoliation on some of the lower fan leaves as its getting quite bushy in there again but I dunno if I should mess around with the buds forming now. 4/20/25 my cover crop is coming in nicely. first time trying a cover crop. the plant is spreading out nicely and evenly and looking very nicely. Not much growth recently but she looks happy. 4/23/25 everything is coming along nicely.
