With great joy I will start my second season growing cannabis. I hope to learn from some small mistakes from the first season where I was surprised by my performance as a first-time sailor cultivating the BlueDream strain. This season I left the 4 seeds of GorillaGlue 36hrs in a pot of water to break the dormancy. After that I used the napkin technique for more 42 hrs. So I put each one in a 5-gallon airpot, as they are automatic and go to harvest in the same pot. After 24hrs in the vase the first 2 little leaves came out. I made a homemade dome with a 2-gallon water bottle, cutting it into strips and lining it with plastic with some holes to keep the humidity high during this initial phase. We entered the first week of cultivation and unfortunately due to an oversight I got confused in the fertilizer table and clearly the dreaded overfert happened. I did a watering only with water to try to remove the excess fertilizer let's hope it works.

This plant was not to bad in terms of lst needs and defoliating needs as much as the other ones. This will be the last week they are in Veg and switching to flower cycle next week with a 12/12 photoperiod. I was going to try a 13/11 but I wanted to test out the automatic light functions on the Medic Grows Minisun-2, So this will be relieved next week. Been having issues with PH in the medium again and some nutrient uptake. I am thinking I will switch to another brand I have to use up, trip tonic from my last grow on the balcony. Its a bit more complex and not as easy as mix into water and feed but I think its going to help me solve a lot of the issues I am getting. Given this update is a few days late some of these pics are not from today. the clones in the photos above are from the beginning of the week when I potted them up. They have not done well at all and may not make it. can only hope for the next few weeks they pull through. It's slowly coming to an end. I check the trichomes every 3 days. Most are still glassy. I think the first two plants that are ready to harvest will be RedHotCookies #2 and Ayahauscapurple #1 The buds are slowly getting thicker^^ I got an upgrade. The AC Infinity fan. Great impression so far. In the future I will get the complete AC infity set. Exhaust air, controller, humidifier so that I can set the VPD correctly in the future.

Day 141 still going started to reveg but lowered light schedule

The tower now has an extra floor made of pool stick I topped two big buds that reached their 5th node Just changed the water and i m going out for two weeks I added some bloom nutrient into the mix as i'm probably going into flowering 12/12 next week as some girls are too tall All the purple punch died they are fragile I liked them tho since the girl seemed so compact and small with many buds I will try and plant another bunch of purple punch later

The end of the fourth week. Only 2,5 to 3 weeks to go, since this is the FAST version of Gelato 33 by Advanced seeds. Last week temps were better, so that was a lot better to manage. The smell is a different story. We are trying to combat it as we speak with a double filter which my friend still had from a previous grow. The ladies are performing, however, because this is a monstercrop with many budsites, none of them will be very big. We anticipate a lot of cutting come harvest time. The stickieness and smell (cookies, dough, herbs, spices, gingerbread, vanilla) promise a lot to make up for that hopefully!! The middle plant that seemed to go fastest, now looks like to have the hardest time flowering. Her more advanced stage of flowering as a bigger clone, made it harder for her to return to veg, which she never really did. This seems to make her want to rush to the finish, as she is already browning the pistils. Also these buds seem more flakey, popcorny. As if the many flowers and grapelike bundled growth was too much for her. I put the light a little closer, to help her fatten up in the time she is given. I never expected the two 'runts' to outperform the mighty middle clone, but hey seem to fatten up and age much more nicely. So for now, prelimenary tip: make sure all your plants are completely revegged before flowering and consider that faster flowering species might have some ruderalis ancestry that might siderail all your lighting intentions and remains in flower what ever the growers lighting schedule. So with at least two more weeks for the two outer plants, and well see how many for the middle one, we are going to make them as comfortable as possible the final push of this flowering. Day 67 Northern light Auto RQS Hi all The plant is still growing 😳. Thought she would have stopped but no, another 7 - 8 cm in 7 days. You guys think she’s going to grow even more? I broke one of her sidebranches but it was only a little crack so I ducktaped it and ater 2 days the branch looks as strong as before. The sidebranches that are growing on my sidebranches are producing many extra bud-sites. Weather has been bad but this week it will be sunny most of the time and around 20C in the shade. I take the plant inside every evening so she’s never colder than 15C. And give 1 to 1.5 hours of extra led light (only 2X16W). I’m having big hopes for this one because she’s so bushy with many budsites. Any tips and or tricks? Please gimme :) Thanks for reading my diary, feel free to check out my other diary. Happy sunday! Finally at the swelling stage and growing out nicely , this lady has been a joy too grow , no decency's what so ever , she really did stretch in here flower stage going from the size of the Zkittlz plant into a plentiful branched beast she is today stacked with bud sites and let me tell you she smells absolutely amazing ! her buds look frostie already and are starting too swell lovely and there are plenty of them too ,

harvested one blue dream this week, leaving the rest of the plants go one more week. lost a few colas to mold cause the humidity has been high but the rest of the plant seemed good.

Well she keeps plumping up slowly, main cola is 7-8" taller that the main canopy, really hoping to avoid this with extra aggressive LST next time around. Taking pictures with flash on is sure a whole lot better! I'm hoping she only has 3 weeks left! Took a few leaves off that were blocking lower bud sites and preventing airflow from hitting mail cola.

This girl smells amazing...She was also pollinated a couple day ago with the SKUNK #1. I can't wait to grow those seeds. No complaints this week...It's rainy season here so I'm just working around that.
