Week 7 day 3. I stopped giving soluble nitrogen today. 1/2 reduction in soluble pk. Adding solubles in water drops my ph perfect so I don’t use ph down in flower. Now today I start adding a little ph down as the 1/2 strength soluble pk brings water to about 7.4, so reduction to 6.9

Coming to the finish line. Not sure if the plant really got better after the lockout, it is running without nitrogen so yellowing/losing leafs is to be expected anyway. Planning to chop in exactly 10 days.

First the trichomes then the plumping. Still at trichome production they all smell great. Gorilla Zkittles, Gelat.og, and elderberry smell soooo damn sweet and dank. GZ has this orange spice smell. 🤤🤤🤤🤤

Hey yall, It's been a minute, I have been super busy out of town again. All is good though, the flowers are fattening up. Still not a fan of Beaver Seeds. I DO NOT RECOMMEND BEAVER SEEDS, just to be clear. They don't respond, like super sativa club, lol. I email and contact their website, zero response. So pick a breeder you can trust and has open communication. Otherwise they are greedy and most likely have shitty genetics. I popped two feminized seeds, one was a runt from the start, she died when my Temps hit 90 Fahrenheit, which is absolutely 💯 bullshit. I use potassium silicate, frass, aloe and everything that should help with heat stress, so this one is on the breeder. Anyways, they hardly have many trichomes, despite my shit being dialed to the max, PPFD. VPD, water only soil with dry amendments and weekly compost tea applications. That always dumps trichomes for me. Genetics are 90 percent of the game, we can control up to 10 percent as the growers. Well you can see what I mean. Week 6 of flowering now, so yeah I missed a couple weeks, but you know how it is. Life is nuts and you have to work to pay those electric bills. I already popped new seeds from a much better breeder, I literally cannot wait to chop these girls to pieces, and making RSO out of the entire run, I ain't even smoking this shit. Lol. Sorry I didn't throw up any tutorials this week, but check previous weeks for detailed recipes. I did add fermented Banana peels, overly ripe ones to help push flowering maturity. Also added fermented kiwi, overly ripe again to push end of flowering. Also added Willow water, and a ton of fermented aloe and some frass I got from a buddy. Love yall! ❤️ hope you get better genetics than me. Oh and yes, if you get a chance, tell Beaver Seeds to F*** themselves lol, 😆 🤣 😂 😹 Peace out girl scouts, oh and yes, Berner did not make GSC, he stole the name and the first OG cut of Girl Scout Cookies was from San Francisco. So the real breeders don't make shit up, they work their strains and stress test their genes to ensure there is no bullshit, get in touch with your breeder. Check out 808 Genetics, I think that dude has it going on, he stress tests everything and has a great Twitch stream, Check him out! ❤️ 💙 💜 💖 💗 💘

Hello, my green connoisseur! The moment we've all been eagerly awaiting has arrived—the Harvest Report for our botanical queen, Jealousy, in the Power Buds competition. This has been a journey filled with anticipation, and now, we stand on the shores of botanical triumph. Jealousy, in her final act, bestowed upon us a generous yield of 195 grams of dry bud. It's like a cornucopia of green abundance, a testament to the meticulous care and strategic decisions made throughout this green saga. Each nugget is a jewel, a culmination of weeks of growth, love, and dedication. But the story doesn't end there. Jealousy, in her love for the trim bin, gifted us a beautiful golden pollen. This precious powder, transformed into ash via the French Cannoli style. Also gave me a Charas/Finger Ash ball. It's like capturing the essence of the plant in a tangible form—a botanical relic that encapsulates the spirit of our green empress. Now, let's talk about the auditory symphony that accompanied the harvest. The sound, reminiscent of a tree making timber, is like nature's applause for the bountiful harvest. It's the soundtrack to a successful cultivation venture, a melody that resonates through the grow room, echoing the grand finale of this green symphony. The drying process, carried out over two weeks with a temperature of 17°C and humidity at 58%, is like the slow and methodical crafting of a fine wine. Each day, the buds undergo a transformative journey, evolving from freshly harvested flowers to dried and cured masterpieces. And now, the pièce de résistance—the preservation of terps with the Grove Bag featuring Terploc technology. It's like locking the aromatic essence of Jealousy in a time capsule, ensuring that every toke carries the full spectrum of flavors and aromas. The anticipation for the smoke report is palpable, as the strawberry candy profile promises an exquisite sensory experience. Reflecting on this entire journey, from germination to harvest, it's like turning the pages of a botanical epic. The decisions, the challenges, and the moments of sheer joy have shaped the destiny of our green empress. It's a narrative that will be retold, shared, and cherished in the annals of our horticultural adventures. As we conclude this harvest report, let's extend our heartfelt thanks and shout-outs to Zamnesia, Plagron, Grow Diaries, and the vibrant community. Your support and contributions have been the guiding lights on this extraordinary green expedition. To my fellow contestants and growers, may your own harvests be as abundant, flavorful, and joyous as this one. Here's to the culmination of our shared green dreams, the thrill of the harvest, and the anticipation of what lies ahead. Stay green, stay inspired, and keep cultivating those dreams! With true love comes happiness. Always believe in yourself and always do things expecting nothing in return, with an open heart. Be a giver, and the universe will respond in ways you can’t even dream of . Friendly reminder: all you see here is pure research and for educational purposes only. Setup has begun! Teeny tiny bonsai hydro is goin' down here. Comparing Mephisto autos in soil hybrid and hydro (DWC). I'm running a 1.9L mason jar with a 3" net pot that fits perfectly under the lid. Found a tiny air feed and bubbler perfect for this setup. Spray painted the mason jar purple... but in a garage near freezing so the paint job was kinda crap. Might paint over it with gloss white or black. Planning to use General Hydroponics 3 part, with Hydroguard for the fact that room temp is often high enough to worry about. Fun will be had. 8 tight little colas is the idea. Really hoping the bright Pink of the genetics will come through!

5/14: A ended up falling over so I decided to move the dirt around and see what I could see with respect to its root structure. It had one very long, extremely thin dried out root that extended about 2-3 inches and ended in a little tangled up taproot. There was a little worm/nematode/larvae something crawling around in it. I attached video. I'm assuming I need to dump all my water and sterilize, re-ph, etc. Everything is already watered for tonight (should have pulled A first in hindsight) so too late to do anything about the other 2 plants, though they do look pretty healthy still. --------------------- 5/13: Transplanted E into her pot this morning. Same soil mix (3 parts FFOF to 1 part perlite). Seedling C is crushing it, with second set of leaves already forming. E is probably going to go quiet for a day or 2 while it recovers from transplanting. Seedling A looks like it might be overwatered? It feels pretty frail compared to the other 2 plants and the downward curl of the leaves I think suggest too much H20. Will be letting them dry out a bit today. Also, turned up the lamp to 600W and moved it to about 24 inches from the tops. Temperatures are consistently 74-77F and RH holding right around 50%. Still no nutrients. I plan to add them around week 3, unless I see signs they need it sooner. -------------- Out of 5 seeds we started, A, C, and E remain. E a few days behind A and C but growing faster. Planted A and C in FFOF/Perlite 3/1 about 4 gallons total in a 5 gallon bucket. Will do the same for E in a couple days. Moved the light up a bit to account for the buckets. Water ph'd to just about 6.0. Light still on 250W but will be moving up to 400W when they wake up later today. Will go to 600W once all are in pots and at a relatively uniform height. Currently just trying to keep the RH close to 70 and the air temp less than 80. No nutrients for 3-4 weeks unless they look hungry, since FFOF has quite a bit in it to begin with. If not for me killing seed B and seed D never germinating, I'd say we're off to an OK start. The 3 that are growing, seem to be growing extremely well. I put together my own ScrOG that I will install once the light is out of the way, and plan to top these a few times each and LST. I was hoping to have 4 plants to fill the space but we will do our best with 3.

Harvest was rushed due to unforeseen events. No matter though. Gave her a very rough wet trim and hung each branch from my scrog net. Drying process was also rushed and my A/C failed just before the finish line so they are a bit dry and not AS flavourful as it could have been. They have been curing for 2 weeks - 3days. Still better than anything I can buy within a 300km radius and overall one of the best bowls I've smoked in years. Important Lessons: - Accurately monitor PH/TDS/EC. - Smaller pot size (?) - Feed way less nutrients (especially for autoflowers) - More reliable and cost-effective way of adjusting Temp/RH
