G13 autoflower is doing great under the Medic Grow mini Sun-2, in the Athena blended nutrition. She just got a solution change today to the blooming mix. I expect her to really start stretching good. Everything is looking really good now considering the rough start. She is making excellent progress. Hey there growmies from around the world, we are back! I hope everyone had a wonderful week, and everyone’s gardens are doing fantastic! It is week 11, let’s get into it! Back to the canopy we went this week as I had to get in there to maintain that shrubbery! it’s unfortunate, I didn’t have the same amount of time that I had last week to spend in the tent (at any one given time I mean) and I had to choose between defoliating and continuing to tie everything down to further expand the reach of that canopy. I chose the latter…. Hindsight being 20/20, I probably should have just defoliated first… In doing that , I would’ve improved the airflow, increased the visibility (for when it came time to tie stuff down) and would have just cleared it out a bit making it easier for me to tie things down and weave the plant through the net with LESS fear of damaging the plant. But alas, hopefully this is just something I’ll remember the next time I am faced with this decision….🤷‍♂️🏻 So despite all that I said above, I DID decide to tie everything down- it went well but felt a bit rushed. I got more done than I originally thought so that’s a plus! The rock candy cake is doing excellent though, it seems to be liking the future harvest nutrients, as do the fast buds (they really had some substantial growth this past week) The next few weeks will certainly be a test of patience, I kind of just have to let the plant do its thing while I wait for the canopy to fill out that net. She’s doing a beautiful job so far, but we still have a while yet (especially due to the fact that when I moved her into the 5x5, and had to scrog it all over again- she is no longer center so I still have a bit more to go on that one side) to tell you the truth, I’m probably more curious about what I’m going to do to keep it going on the short side.. we shall see.. sounds like next weeks problem. Something else I plan on doing is that much needed defoliation I was talking about- I might wait two more days just to make sure we are all good after yesterdays antics (the tie down) other than that,I think we will just have to see what’s in store for us this upcoming week, hopefully some insane growth, but I’ll take any progress haha just gotta keep moving forward! Either way, I am having an absolute blast and I hope to see my growmies here for week 12! 12/12/2022: Getting close to the end. The Strawberry Gushers has turned completely purple. She may have a week or so to go. Just waiting for a bit more amber tricomes before I chop her. The Orange Bubblegum and Newberry are fading more every day, but they still have a couple more weeks. Just when I thought I got the fungas gnats under control more must have hatched. They are mainly concentrated in the Strawberry Gushers pot, so I threw in a new sticky trap and did a little watering with some mosquito bit tea. About 1/3 liter each. Just enough to get the first inch or two of soil wet. One lesson learned from this grow is start treating for pest issues when you first see them, instead of waiting for them to get bad like I did. Also, plan to implement or stricter IPM strategy next round. 12/15/2022: The Strawberry Gushers is just about done. Tricomes are about 20% amber, so she will be getting the chop this weekend. The Orange Bubblegum and Newberry still need more time, so I gave them a good watering today. They each got 1.5 liters of water at 6.6 ph, with ThermX-70, coconut powder, FishShit, and about 1 liter of mosquito bit tea for the gnats. 12/18/2022: only watered the Orange Bubblegum and Newberry today. They are both fading hard, but i think I'll give them another week or two before chopping. Gave each about 1.5 liters mixed with ThermX-70, FishShit, and mosquito bits. Still can't get these fungas gnats 100% under control, but keeping it at a manageable population at least. The Strawberry Gushers is getting chopped tomorrow, so she didn't get any water. Was originally planning to chop it today, but still need to get my drying space dialed in. Trying to get as close to 60° with 60% RH. Avg. VPD:1.6 PPFD: 600 DLI: 39

Picking the odd leaf off but it's pretty much just doing its own thing other than having to feed her . She smells really nice with lots of bud sites and has some visable trichome production now .

Trabajando sobre la automatizacion de mi carpa para tener mas control de su clima. Tengo 4 fenotipos distintos, asi que veremos como se expresan cada una con las mismas condiciones. Subimos el led al 40% ya que respondieron notablemente al trasplante.

Buds are really coming on now. Stretch is slowing. Very happy with the new lights and fan. Not sure I'll do scrog next time as its hard to keep up with all the grow and pruning/defoliation required. Adjusted my lights to get everyone even coverage. Light meter would be nice at some point!

Because of the great results, we are going to use the same recipe, adjusted some more with some new ingredients that will complete the mix and give an even more sustained super soil buffer. 20% Atami Bi-grow (very similar to ocean forest) 20% Atami worm castings 20% Atami Coco Coir 10% Hydrocorn 10% Peat powder 1 cup Fossil seaweed chalk 1 cup bonemeal 1 cup bloodmeal 1 cup Microlife 3-4 teaspoons of epsom salt 3 cups of activated biochar (activated with our own permaculture tea) I just made layers, starting with hydro corn on the bottom to aid airflow/run-off. The Nutrients I will start with just adding 6.4 PH water, although this soil should buffer ph itself and regulate, after 4 weeks, I'll slowly be adding: - Biobizz Grow - Plagron Alga Grow - Biobizz CalMag - Biobizz Flower - Plagron Alga Flower - Biobizz Topmax - Melasses The Tea Some of you might remember the permaculture tea from my previous grow, I have a short video in my harvest page showing how we make it), it will star again in this grow. - (Rain)water - Comfrey (whole plants) - Dandelion leaves - Roots and leaves from the earlier grow - Minor periwinkle (Finca minor) is a plant we have in our garden, it contains an alkaloid that is associated with increased brain function but also is a light toxin for wee beasties and other unwanted guests like gnats (who hate it). - When flowering I add some wood ash to this mix Thank you for checking in on one of my grows again!
