Monsoon finally hits! Temps have dropped below the 110 mark low 100's! This grow will likely last > 30 weeks. Since GD only supports 30 weeks of diaries, this "week" will actually last two weeks. End of week 4/Day 34 plant is still really small but its flowering :) has a nice smell between a green veg plant and a cheese strain :) and im really excited to try the buds from this one, cant wait to be relaxed haha. im going to make sure the plants are 60cm away from the light for flowering as they are all in the flowering stage now :) im going to be giving more canna B in flowering for P and K instead of N. check out my Quick One and Royal Dwarf diaries :) i guess its just a waiting game now. it was a nice learning experience this time round but i was very unsure about everything. i have to give myself some applause tho as ive reached flowering :) next grow im doing a diesel auto, gg auto and maybe a sweet Zz (grapefruit x grape ape) as my first photoperiod :) we'll see how things go. please leave any advice or comments :) thank you for following my diaries! I picked up some iceberg lettuce seeds too so keep an eye out for those! :D Day 35 - 29/10/19 haloween is almost here and i cant wait to get me some 🎃. Flushed the fast eddy plant and it had 1160 ppm with a ph of 6.08. im assuming ppm of 800-1160 is hurting my plant, full of salts too. mixing up feed now to give to her. i should have had it sitting ready but i mixed up the bottles so i had to start over 😂. the smell off this plant isnt like the other generic weed strains, its got a real powerful potent cheese smell coming from it, and its very compact and tight, i think i actually got 2 buds merging into one hahaha. the sugar leaves look amazing too :) need to pick up a jewelers loupe or something of the sort to start watching the pistils and trichomes :) other than that im gonna start feeding her 4ml Canna A, 4ml Canna B, 3ml Rhizotonic, 3ml Cannazym. i did the flush yesterday with quick one and growth is just exploding again, its crazy how noob proof these plants are, still i think id prefer to have more control with photoperiods. Day 37 - 31/10/19 Plant enjoyed the flush! its very hard to see the flowering growth as it is very close together surrounded by healthy leaves. Has a lovely cheese smell, compared to a full cheese strain im getting hints of what could be the juanita la lagrimosa :) from the way this is developing and forming buds im not even worried about the size anymore. its looking likely to be good quality smoke :) Basically no flowering stretch so less yeild i think :) im a happy grower so thats all that matters haha. until next week folks! and HAPPY HALLOWEEN TO ALL!!!!

End of the first week in the NFT tank. Temperature was higher than normal because of the addition of a 315cdm in the middle if the two 600w dual spec HPS. I put three exhale co2 bags in the room to compensate for the higher temps.

Week 3 of my soon-to-be purple ladies! 😻 Everything was going well but I noticed these issues: - The girl on the back is stretching waaaaay more and is less "leafy" than her sister. Perhaps she has more sativa in her DNA? - Leaves on both girls love to twirl around, specially on the girl on the front. - The stem on both girls is still weak and the girl on the front no longer needs the extra help she needed! Weather where I live is getting colder for some odd reason (it should be the opposite, damn!) and the "purple" is... perhaps starting to show a little? So this week after I gave it under nutrients I apparently gave it too much nitrogen while having a potassium deficiency. Shiney dark leaves, So i fixed that, but some didn't bounce back, and I tried nitrogen. I think they are doing pretty good considering everything I've put them through SO FAR. lol. Nutrients are NPK Raw's total lineup, follow their instructions at first, Fastbuds adjustments as of this week.

I am loving the Genetics from FAST BUDS! The quality is fantastic! But the hardiness of their plant's is great!!! This young girl has copped some abuse! During my training of her, I have gotten quite rough on many occasions, not on purpose! But accidentally breaking branches e.t.c. However I tape her up with some tape & she comes good after a while. I've found that as long as their is still some of the branch intact, she will mend herself & I've had branches that were broken through more than 3 quarters the way! Just wrap some tape around it to hold it together & it ends up coming good. I've also deliberately been rough with HST, squashing branches, pinching to strengthen stems. Damaging & squashing branches to get the shape & direction I'm after. I actually go around & lightly pinch ( squash ) all new branching to thicken & strengthen them! It works very well. So yeah they are very hardy plants & at the end of the day they are a weed!!!

2020-08-16 End of week 8 of flowering! Nutrients are still stable with the same amounts (EC=1600/1200). Gonna ride them out until the end of the growth. Gonna start monitoring the trichomes daily so I can figure out when to flush. They look about 100% milky!

Top strain, very easy 2 grow with amazing results in the end. Didn't try it yet, but when I hit it , I will definitely update on here. Smells fantastic 🤩 So final results are 370gr of quality solid buds🤩✔️ that's not include the bottom trim and small buds. Very good yielder. Final harvest weight is 5kg of quality solid buds and around 2kg of small bottom buds

I changed my entire electrical installation which was starting to date. -I installed a 600w dimmable electronic ballast (+ 10% so 660w possible) -One pia Son-t-Pia greenpower 600W -An umbrella reflector, great reflector which lowers my heat in the box and efficiently distributes the heat of the Son-t-Pia on the sides. here Michka is really great. J'ai changé toute mon installation électrique qui commençait à dater. J'ai installé un ballast électronique dimmable 600w (+10% donc 660w possible ) Une ampoule pia Son-t-Pia greenpower 600W Un reflecteur parapluie, formidable reflecteur qui à fait baisser ma chaleur dans la box et répartit efficacement la chaleur de l'ampoule sur les côtés. Voilà Michka est formidable vraiment.

Room is almost there Flood table coating was completed this week. Took forever to cure in the colder weather, but it is looking great now. Normally I wouldnt use this stuff because it is $200 per gallon, but since Im in the industry, these expired sample cans didnt cost me a cent and provides a much more durable, reflective, cleanable and puncture resistant alternative to plastic. Im very happy with the table overall, it cost me very little to build I installed the fan and carbon filter, moves about 750 cf per minute. Its a bit loud, but its huge, so what are ya gonna do? My dutch bucket pails are slowly being collected from my local coffee shop. I need 4 - 8 more. Ive got all the hardware to set up the watering system, so I will work on that in the coming week

Beginning of week.. So instead of feed, water, feed.. I think I'm gonna feed, feed, water this week.. PPM going in is 900 PPM and runoff is still coming out around 500 PPM.. Still seems weird to me.. But whatever lol. She is looking a little deficient in some areas (more than 1)... Not horrible.. But it's there.. Some spotting.. Little yellowing here and there.. But that is expected at the end of flower, of course.. Buds look nice tho.. Fucking gorgeous plant! Trichomes are for sure gettin cloudy.. Very few amber in there.. So yeah, this should be the last week of feeding and then beginning the 2 week flush! Mid week.. Not too worried about the coloring and spotting.. Just thought I'd post it along with this lady.. She is looking pretty good tho.. Smells amazing.. Got a few pretty fat colas... Haven't really checked to see how dense.. Don't wanna just squeeze them lol.. But I'm almost positive that the nitrogen toxicity she hit may have contributed to keeping her a bit airy.. Well.. One more update and then the 2 week flush will begin!!! End of week.. Tried to get more trichome shots but trichomes kept smearing all over the lens so I gave up lol.. ALOT of cloudy.. A small amount of amber.. Starting the flush tomorrow with some pics for the next week! This is gonna be some epic bud for sure! Can't wait!!! Gonna use some FloraKleen tomorrow and just pH'd water until harvest! May use FloraKleen a couple times this week depending on how the runoff reads.. But according to my screw up during transition one time with FloraKleen should be more than enough lol.. But we shall see... On to the next week!!!...

D-70 : At this stage, I'm a bit.... surprised that the Desfrans are not taller thant they are. The smallest one is 35cm wich is really small for a 100% sativa strain. The tallest one is about 56cm, wich is also quiet small I think. If I compare with some other diaries, the tallest one could be in the target if we take into account that I trained them a lot during their first weeks. But the small one is almost the half she should be... There's no sign of deficency, none ! I have 420w @ 50 cm from the top, so it's not because of the light. The container is a 20L smartpot. I simply do not understand. Is it juste because of that phenotype ? Will she grow during the next 7-9 weeks untill she'll recover her late ? I Modified a bit the position of the light so the Lumatek 100w FullSpectrum on the side of the box is really pointed to the "slow" girls. We'll see if it change anything but I really doubt about it... The only lead I have is : Desfran loves HEAT and Light. The 2 smallest are on the coldest side of the box, even if it's not cold at all. But it is the side near the window...

Welcome back ! A lot of new branches developed and the tent gets fuller every day. The first flowers also developed, so I decided to start using Bio-Bloom and Top Max. So far the plant did not stretch much, it’s more a horizontal bush. But I will wait, how she developed in her first weeks of flowering stage. Keep in touch ! Cheers, HighZenBerg
