So, after seeing the N deficiency and feeding it some protein, I noticed after all this time there were no new roots forming in the sencond zone in the hydroton, so I thought maybe I forgot to drill holes to let the roots through. Turns out when I was moving things around, only the very bottom of the basket was in the water, so the hydroton was mostly dry and the roots were drying up before getting to the water. So this week I made a new carrier for the pot to sit further down in the water and this should remedy future N deficiency as the roots will be getting the nutes from the aquaponic system. Plant still looks great, started LST this week to help fill the width of the screen. Will be moving into the tent after my widow gets harvested.

I estimate another 2 to 3 weeks. Then I can harvest. I'm really looking forward to my 2 ladies 🤩😎

Considering this the official first week of flower. Had light timer issues again smh, but got it fixed again. Plants doing great! Weakened led because the plant is growing right into it almost. Hoping she’s done stretching. Watered with week 7 Nutes @50%. Temp min 67 max 77 Fahrenheit Rh min 33% max 42% may need trellis to keep her from snapping when flowering. Still debating.

Finally almost a year later and she finally retires 😭😭😭😭😭to emotional she did not want to miss out on the summertime heat and the beginning of autumn, 70 grams, the plastic bag is 3 grams. Loving her… she is my 2nd best strain this harvest, the smell

The big girls have the tent to themselves after the GZ auto was harvested this week , looks to be around 5oz when dry so a nice little bonus smoke . Tied the girls out into final positions and they are looking and feeling chunky some of these colas are over a foot long and getting smelly as .

Week 1 Flower We finally got the Surf Purp siblings into the flower tent Playboiis! 👍 Now they'll be growing at a faster rate throughout the transitional period, silicon has been increased a bit so they stay thick and strong, and also bendable if needed. Remo grow has been significantly reduced whilst remo bloom is now being added at the same strength as micro. A very small amount of Astro flower is being added too. Epsom Salts has been doubled along with Cal-Mag being upped very slightly. I always feed at 5.9pH when in the transitional period/stretch and then increase to 6pH once in full bloom. This is to slowly transition their pH to 6 as this is a better pH for the required nutrients throughout flower. Because they haven't yet had the usual maintenance flush after being delayed in veg, I gave them one on Day 6 Flower. They were topped up with a nutrient feeding straight after to ensure they don't go hungry! I checked the ppm and pH of the tun off for each of them before flushing mote water through them. This is to check if they're roots are happy and healthy with a good pH and feeding well, without leaving a high ppm in the run off. The strings that they're under were already there from the previois girls, but was sterilized before putting the Surf Purps in. These were enough to move all the branches required to open them up and spread them out evenly. Because I'm only flowering under one light, the two outer plants (1&3) won't be getting the same intensity as the other two, so they'll more than likely produce smaller, less dense flowers (if they're female). It's just something that'll need to be considered when picking a keeper as they could produce the same, or bigger flowers if given the same intensity as the other two. I placed the two tallest plants at the back as they look like they'll stretch the most out of the bunch, so it makes the two smaller plants at the front easier to see and tent to the canopy. They were all given a good defoliation on Day 7 to slow their stretch, now that their growing at a much faster rate. We'll soon see their pre flowers to determine what sex they all are! chopped #1 on 1/21/25 started curing today 1/27/25 chopped #5 on 1/23/25 still hanging and drying. will update with weights and smoke reports and more pictures when dried and cured #1 33 grams. nice big nugs. i really like how the mainline turned out with the final product #5 32 grams smaller buds overall but the yeild is very similar. these are weights after trimming. i did a fairly heavy trim on thesr 2 plants. this diary started with 5 plants but because of my perpetual flowering set up, i have had 3 other diaries for the flowering stages of the other 3. The flowering stage of this diary are only plant #1 and plant #5

Day 70 start of flushing them 👀🤙

Hey All!!, Huge growth week, and we have moved into the flowering stage. These girls were 24/25 days old as of Sunday the 24th. They are all now between 14 and 17 inches tall, which is about double in one week. The tallest went from about 8 inches to 17 inches in just 7 days. I fed them twice, mid-week prior to last Sunday they got CaliMagic and Regenisys and then last Sunday the 24th I fed with Nector of the Gods and did start the Terpinator. Today is Wed, Dec 4th and they are about ready for another drink. They look really good, nice and green and they have just a faint berry smell. The one area I could have done better is with my LST. The dang things grew so fast last week that I just got behind, I should have started a few days earlier. However, once I did the LST they began to fill out nicely. I stuck 2 videos in, one prior to LST and one after I had finished. You can see how much the branches were being covered as the leaves were not growing very quickly. They are much happier now being spread out. Quite happy with the progress so far.

14.1.25: I've been readjusting the LST. I just took all the pegs out and reshaped her. I got some new LST equipment in the mail today, have been glad to have more pegs. I got some clips too, but they don't seem to stay on 😕 I'm currently only using the pegs, I have some thicker soft wire, but I forgot I don't have pliers to cut it! Also I'm running very low on Biobizz nutrients, so that could be bad 🤞 17.1.25: I'm quite disappointed that I didn't use a 5 or even better my 10 Gallon pot for PPP2 and even PPP1. Especially the PPP2, which is the Triploid pheno. I'd love to have given her the best conditions to see the full potential! 😕 Obviously, I didn't know when I popped the beans, but it just feels like a wasted opportunity to learn, and that's hard to swallow for me. That's my whole aim with these plants. Despite my regrets in that respect, the plants are both looking great! PPP3 is literally just taking up prime real estate 😑 I can't bring myself to trash a plant, though. Plus, it's interesting in and of itself. Just being as it has stayed so small and only has 3 fingers in any of its leaves in week 10. Continuing to adjust ties and pegs as often as I can, trying not to overdo it. 18.1.25: I have done another large defoliation on PPP1 and PPP2. Also, moderate defoliation on all other plants today. All LST ties and pegs are readjusted. I have turned up the light to 90%. Same distance of between 24-28 inches, depending on height of specific plant. I have increased the dosage of Biobizz Bio-Grow and Fish Mix to give an extra boost of Nitrogen as several plants were showing yellowing. They have responded very well to this. Unfortunately I ran out of my Biobizz nutrients and PH UP. I'm currently using Bicarbonate of Soda to increase the PH after the nutes PH comes out to about 4.1. Obviously, that uses a lot and I only had a 250ml bottle, which I used last run too. This run I have 9 plants. The only thing I'm worried about is the salt build up. Have you used it before? Or any other natural way to increase PH? Please let me know! I've also added Biobizz Fish Mix to help with the extra Nitrogen needed. Watering with 1ltr of dechlorinated water PH'd to 6.3 with the following nutrients;- ♡ 4ml Biobizz Fish Mix ♡ 4ml Biobizz Bio-Grow ♡ 2ml Biobizz Bloom ♡ 2ml Biobizz Top Max ♡ 2ml Cal-Mag ♡ 2ml Ecothrive Flourish. I water with this every 3 days. I did order some more Biobizz Bio-Grow and Bio Bloom. I found some at a reasonable price on Amazon. I still have about 800 ml of Biobizz Fish Mix left, too. It is fairly expensive this time as the plants are hungrier this run. I also got a new bag of Canna coco, which I may use to add a top dress with some dry amendments. Which hopefully will save some cash on the bottled nutrients and stretch out until the end of this run without having to buy anymore. I have purchased a funnel to pour the water. It is difficult, due to the shape of my LST, to water precisely. I have spilt it all over the tent several times 🙄 I've also ordered a 2 litre jug. Currently, I'm mixing water for 9 plants individually in a 1 litre jug. It's tideous. Hopefully, this will solve the issues.
