Thanks Tom @Seedsman U.S.A shipped under a week for these delicious beans and promos! Just for fun did 2 in glass of water then directly into soil, 3 in water then in paper towel 2 days then in soil. Like I figured, if the seeds tap and are fresh just puttem in prepped media.

Time for the stretch! Lots of flowering growth happening now. I can see where the bud spots will be so I’m going to have to stop moving the branching around in the Scrog, also the branches are getting thick and less pliable.

Welcome to my Fast Buds sponsored shootout and living organic soil v coco side by side. I also plan to use this grow to my full advantage regarding a few age old nagging questions about methods. I have had a keen interest in L.O.S ( supersoil) since reading a few threads a while back on how amazing and productive it can be. After too much research and procrastinating I had to give it a go. I have been a decades coco/nft grower and recently threw my hat in the rdwc ring too. I have avoided soil due to the overwatering worry ( heavy handed chimp brain !) and the best potting soil/feeds. Catching up on the advances in indoor soil gardening and organics led me too subcools supersoil recipes to name a few but being a town dweller with farms everywhere around me still drew blanks on a lot of the ingredients needed and where the hell I could even begin to get them from. Thankfully , commercial savvy has now made buying it in ready to use and with a full range of beneficial bacteria ect available in amendments from a grow shop here in the uk. ecothrive have realised the potential for us to dive into this medium with all the mixing , measuring and resourcing. I bit the bullet and £150 later I now have 4 x37Litre pots that will be used for as long as I want to feed the soil for without EVER needing nutrients again potentially. The coco has also had charge mixed in to encourage the bennies to colonize there too. I will be using the shogun nutes that I know do the business with coco to compare with for yield , growth and taste. I have 3 seeds each of 4 Fast Buds Strains to use as a control for the grow and am journaling each strain in their own diaries. This statement will be used to start each one as the information is identical at this point but following this I will do them individually. I am now starting their second week since opening the seed packets , straight into soaked and shook root riot cubes and into the heated propagator. They had all showed their heads by end of day 3 and a couple needed helmet surgery to open up without being hindered . I have has them in the prop for a few days but they needed to get settled as they were popping roots out all over the cubes. They have now been in their final pots for 2 days complete and starting their 3rd today at day 8 since planting in cubes. I am impressed with the speed and success of these girls already (12 of 13 germinated) . Well done fast buds. So here we go folks , any comments , ideas ,questions , advice are always welcome and I hope we can have some fun experimenting with defol v non defol , topping v fimming v bending and any other curiosities along the way. From 100 degrees days to 75 and light showers and she’s still taking it like a champ ..flowering now so will keep a eye on it for now stay tuned..

nachdem ich ein paar erdmücken gesehen hatte letzte woche hatte ich aus sicherheits gründen mal 2 tage ordentlich mit neemöl gegossen. seitdem habe ich auch nach reichlichen suchen keine mehr gefunden😁

Day 43 12/06/2021- Beginning of week five of flower. She should be done soon, she will also get her final feeding soon. Day 45 12/08/2021- She got her final top dress today from here on out she is on her own all I will do is water with pain water PH to 6.2-6.8 when dry. Day 47 12/10/2021- She is coming along nicely. Very frosty wish she wasn't a auto so I could of clone her for sure. Today she got a nice treat as it rain in my hometown and that's the water she got. Hoping she is ready by the end of the year. I know she looks funny but she was never topped either. Day 49 12/12/2021- End of the week, nothing new.

26APR - They grew a little bit this past week. Thinking of topping by the end of this week. Still unsure being my first grow and all. Anyone have suggestions I am open to them. 29APR - all 4 widows were slightly dehydrated and im guessing ots due to being switched from led to a 1000watt MH bulb. Going to keep an eye on them n possibly trim their roots tomorrow. 01MAY - ended up not doing anything to them other than move them around a bit.

01/27/2021 Flowering going well Flowering #2,#3,#6 #6 is a week ahead of#2,#3 will put others in on week 4 for a staggered harvesting 01/30/2022 watered with fungal tea and some aloe mixed in for amino acids and other goodness. Well see how she progresses in 4 days Also working on some banana peel tea to give a boost of potassium if I do next week it should be available for week 6-7. Ps. Fuzzy Mellon (bag seed male) I will pollinate one lucky branch on #6 as she is my favorite. But number 3(tall and lanky one) will get pollination of one branch as well. I can't wait to see how they recombine with fuzzy melon smell mixed with burnt rubber and model glue and pine. #2 no pollination (smaller one) #5 (bonsai) and #8 are males. So 3 female out of 8 seeds. Going to make some feminized seeds next time,so I'll have plenty of female's for a staggard harvest.

This week I just flushed the plant. I think I could have feed nutes the first day of this week, but I decided to flush from the first day, something to improve next time. I think I should have given the last flush one day before harvest instead of 2 days after, I felt that the coco was a bit too dry and the steam was not as moist as the previous harvest, this would have been great if I was doing 14 days dry, but I'm doing a 30 day dry, so this extra moisture would be great. The last 4 days the lights were turned off, as a consequence, the humidity went up the last 4 days, around 56-58%, I don't think I will do this next time. The total flower period was 72 days, according to Barney's farm it would take 60-65 days, I feel that those values are very accurate, my personal circumstances made me take a bit longer, but I barely saw any amber trichomes at harvest day. Day 36 - She's still growing. At a faster rate than the Stardawg is but slowing down compared to previous weeks. Flowers just starting to develop. I got a new toy, time lapse camera. VPD:1-1.2 / Nachts 0.8 PPFD: 450-600 DLI: 27-45 Mein Setup ist nun fast vollständig, mit den Hester und Luftbefeuchter konnte ich schon ziemlich genau den VPD als auch die Wunschtemperatur festlegen, aber durch die ständig laufende Abluft mussten die Geräte sich gegenseitig korrigieren. Durch das steuern der Abluft ist das Leben um einiges einfacher 😄 Seit dem VPD & TEMP on Point sind wachsen die echt sehr schnell, sehr hohe Photosynthese Rate. Fangen an leichte Mangelerscheinungen zu zeigen, vor allem Magnesium, da ich mit Osmose Wasser gieße… Es wird in den kommenden Tagen ein ordentliches Topdressing vorbeireitet um die Ladys langsam auf die Blüte einzustimmen… Blüte wird heftig

DB#2 #CannapediaGrowersCup4th супер кустистое растение, расползается во все стороны как плющ, ответвления превышают длину ствола в 1.5-2 раза. Ради интереса топнул (на фото и видео растение до обезглавливания). Не занимался растениями из-за "перезагрузки" своей оранжереи. Тестирую видео-формат, пока первая "сырая" наработка. Снизил концентрации питания и в течение недели получали раствор из G.H.Feeding Grow + pH Down, с показателями 5.8-6.2pH и 650ppm, раз в 2-3 дня.

5/16 Chopped down the rest of Trainwreck that had another week on the first chopping. 5/18 Forgot to take video or pics of the last chop, but here is a video. Top row is all Trainwreck except the guy in the front right. Bottom is all Amnesia. 5/27 Long, slow dry at high 50s humidity. Trimming seemed okay, though tedious. Got 83 grams after subtracting the weight of the Grove bag! Not bad! Will update after curing.
