Hello growmies! Welcome to week seven of An Epsilon Adventure! Massive thanks to both Shogun and Royal Queen Seeds for sponsoring this grow! I have just completed the final defoliation for the three least advanced (and largest) girls. I have also rearranged the tent again to try to maximize the space available and light usage. I have not fertigated for 5 days after the last fertigation was a flush without coco base. I am struggling with humidity at the moment so I have been trying to let the plants go more dry than usual. Daily Updates ### Week 7 Day 2 02:30 7/8 Heavily defoliated plants 1, 5 & 6 and removed some of the lower branches. Rearranged tent then photographed & measured: Plant 1 is now almost unbelievably 2nd tallest at "only" 141cm in height! Her stretch has just about ended. Plant 2 has stopped stretching at 111cm and is 2nd most advanced into flower. Plant 3 has stopped stretching at 95cm and is most advanced into flower. Plant 4 has stopped stretching at 100cm and is 3rd most advanced into flower. Plant 5 has gained 6cm this week and may add few more but she is pretty close to done stretching at 119cm. Plant 6 has gained 22cm this week and isn't quite finished. She is now the tallest plant in the series at 142cm. ### Week 7 Day 2 07:00 7/8 Fertigated 1.6l each ### Week 7 Day 4 02:00 9/8 Fertigated 1.6l each reduced coco a/b to 2m/l each. Spent a bit more time photographing and videoing to try and capture the changes and the developmental differences. These 140cm+ plants are going to STACK. I am bracing myself for a lot of trimming and a monster harvest. 🙏 The current order of maturity and likely order of harvest is 3 2 4 1 5 6. I think the first and last plants will be at least a week apart in harvest, perhaps 2 or 3. ### Week 7 Day 6 23:00 11/8 Fertigated 1.6l each The smell in the tent is there now, really not that strong but there are 6 plants motoring through flower here now so it's not insignificant either. Plant 3 is absolutely stacking now, she's more or less run out of space around her cola and is now growing some foxtail like structures, exciting! Plant 6 the least mature is 2-3 weeks behind plant 3, but her stretch has finally stopped at 144cm. Took wide angle in tent photos today. Aloha Freunde, bei meinen Damen wird es immer gemütlicher. Die Mulchschicht sollte von Anfang an drauf aber besser spät als nie. In der Erde von Sonnenerde ist schon viel los aber Ich gieße hin und wieder mit effektiven Mikroorganismen von Tria Terra um das Bodenleben schneller in Schwung zu bekommen. Trauermücken gehören zur gesunden Erde irgendwie dazu aber in so einem Setup wollen wir die kleinen Mücken nicht haben. Die Lösung: Gleich von Anfang an mit SF-Nematoden gießen. Die gibt es im Baumarkt auf Bestellung oder gleich Online suchen. Liebe

Day 7 of flower and it is responding beautifully to the flip!

There’s no amber trichomes on Mama Mia and I’m thinking of growing a little longer than the breeder suggests. Northern Lights trichomes are starting to amber and I may harvest earlier than suggested. King Kong trichomes are milky clear. I switched up which light is on which plant. Next grow I’m definitely replacing my two weaker lights with stronger lights and using the weak lights as side lighting. Light power is one of the big lessons from this grow. The bud size looks it’s age, but is much heavier than appearance. I think the kelp helped the buds get denser. The King Kong flowers are all much heavier than the branches can support. Next grow I’ll be more proactive with netting support.

Completely forgot to update like an idiot, but these videos were taken two days ago. Pheno 1&2 are both male, so I'm just hoping this last one is female. I might flower when I get back from vacation to just speed this process up but I guess well see.

The High intensity was to strong (clearly my fault) in the beginning which stunted her overall stretch, she however still delivered super dense, terpene and trichome loaded buds.

extremely glittery! in the dry room! removed fan leaves and deep freezed. I didn't have a luggage scale to wet weight, or however that's done. will have a dry weight after dry trim. and in cure bags.

Hello. This is the end of week 4 and the beginning of week 5. Wow! It's been a good week of growth. The plant are sure drinking alot of food this week. Indicia's do that about this time in flowering. I took some 1/4 inch doweling and tied cord around the ends and tied the plants back out of the light so they don't fry. The resin production has kicked in. Some of the plant are looking frosty already. As usual I'm hoping for some strong smoke to come out of these girls. Seeds are supposed to arrive today according to my email. and the address is from Spain. Have my seeds finally been sent by OA Seeds? And I thought I was getting ripped off by them. It's been 3 whole months. I've been asking about every week or two where are my seeds and I was always getting the run around something about we don't have those seeds so you will have to pick something different or wee have a problem with seed delivery so you will have to pick something else or taking days to respond to my email responses. I'm expecting the seeds to be old and that they won't sprout. So I'll start some straight away to see. I forgot what I ordered and I had to go back and look at the email receipt and remember but who knows what I'll get? Till next week. Chuck.

Hello growers day 1 with the gorilla glue auto from @weedseedsexpress big thanks to the seed bank for sending me seeds to join your competition hopefully I do your beans some justice and get some nice pics in there for ya I’m just going to keep her wet with water for the first 2weeks then I’ll start giving her some food so until next week be safe and happy growing ✌️

Day 1: Paper towel method was used. Made sure plastic container stayed in a dark and warm place. Day 2: Seed has cracked but no tail yet. Day 3: Started to worry seed won’t germinate so top tissue paper was replaced with new dry one. Used warm water to wet the new paper towel. After 12 hrs crack in seed got wider little tail started to appear. Day 4: Repeated method used in Day 3. Warm water used on new paper towel. Day 5: Germinated seed placed in jiffy peat pellet and placed in propagator. Day 6: no change yet. Put propagator in window for sunlight. Day 7: no change so decided to intervene. Checked to see if seed cracked. Slowly removed the remaining shell. Covered with soil. Day 8: Seed has sprouted. Put propagator under the sun for 9 hrs, and after it stsrted to open its first leaves. Day 9: She’s enjoying the sun. Day 10: Last day in the sun. Soil mix prepared and washed with water (ph 6.5). Transfer to 15L fabric pot tomorrow.

End of week 8 and the beginning of week 9. 1-2 weeks left before I chop these girls down. All my girls are loving the new light and so am I! Highly recommend. Only things to report on is, I’m still flushing, my buds are getting denser, and also they’re starting to turn purple! This is my first plant to actually turn purple and I grew a plant just before these two that’s were supposed to be purple, but never did change colors. Fun fact: my favorite bud to smoke all time is purp diesel, so this is great for myself! Well, see you guys on the next update. Happy Growing! ✌️🏾

Fastbuds Girl Scout Cokies really has a very interesting personality. Low and neat bonsai style after the Topping and a precise defoliation has taken on a very beautiful shape and the inflorescences are very white and consistent and it seems that they will become very beautiful as soon as possible.

day 70 was harvest day !! really fast strain, 24h light ON really played a big role as well frosty buds and amazing strawberry smell, now lets dry it !!

Day 50 - Starting week 8 today and she’s looking beautiful. She definitely not as big as I was expecting but she’s really starting to fatten up, looking and smelling amazing. Can’t wait for these last couple weeks for her to finish and chop her. Day 51 - All is looking good and hoping by the end of week 10 she’ll be ready or close to ready for chopping. Starting to get milky trichomes but still quite a few clear. The next couple weeks are gonna be fun to watch her fatten up more. Day 52 - She definitely looking good and getting a lot of milky trichs but there’s still a bit of time before she’s ready to chop, at least that’s what I’m thinking. Might do a split harvest if she calls for it but hoping she’ll be ready by week 10 or 11 at the latest. Just need her to fatten up a bit in the middle. Day 53 - Gave her a feeding of water today and continuing to watch her fatten each day. She’s starting to get really frosty and smelly and I’m loving it! Excited for the last few weeks. Day 54 - All is looking good still and it’s like this girl is almost turning into one big giant frosty bud and couldn’t be happier with how easy she’s been to grow so far. Right now she’s almost 100% milky trichs and looks like she still has a little more time to go still. I’m going for a little more couch lock so need those ambers to start showing up. Day 55 - All is looking good still, just watching her fatten up everyday. Day 56 - Last day of week 8 and she’s smelling sooo sweet and getting frostier everyday. Thinking about just giving her pH’d water from here on out. I’m guessing another week or two and she should be finishing up but just gonna continue watching trichs. Waiting for them to start turning amber. Still a few clear in there but not many, mostly all cloudy now.
