This week I added 9 ml of nutrient per gal of water to prepare for switching to flowering. Grow 5 inches this week getting ready to start flowering. I lowered the light to eight inches which really had these plants growing faster and thicker.

Nothing really Changed. Did a topping today. She's A little taller. Love to See her growing ❤️

Had a couple of the stems which were almost drooping on the ground due to the weight of the buds, so decided to harvest those two branches today. Also, this week I did a bit more research on when to harvest. I had been waiting for the trichomes to begin to turn amber, but after reading this article: https://www.growweedeasy.com/harvest, I decided to harvest when the trichomes were cloudy. Experts say that the amber trichomes give a more relaxing effect, but I was growing this plant for daytime use. Looked at it under my digital microscope and decided to pull the trigger on the whole plant. Plus, the neighbors were starting to notice the smell. Final height - 104" - 8 1/2 feet - 2.64 meters. Not good. Was concerned that someone would hop the fence and pilfer my plant. Harvested her at 35 weeks - 281 days. Grow diaries really needs to expand the weeks available for us outdoor growers. Started her indoors in Feb. Transplanted outside on April 7th.

This was probably one of best looking plants I’ve done outdoor, grew really well in the new spot. Had a great main cola with many decent sized side branches. Didnt even do any training on this girl and produced plenty. Next year will do this again but peak summer and do some training on her. What a great plant, especially in the uk weather she holded off nicely. Big thanks to barneys farm for sending me these strains to try out. That’s all, happy growing 🌱

Super easy grow , i hst & topped this girl early & I think that really helped her out !!! She was grown in living soil so no NPK was given to this girl at all .. she smells just like lemonade, and finish on day 71 from seed !! Super happy with this girl ... she’s drying now , I can’t wait to smoke her!! She smokes super smooth, taste exactly how she smells!! Great job fast buds

Buenos días gente linda, segunda semana de floración en exterior, todo el ciclo de vegetación pasaron en tienda de cultivo y la semana pasada la saque al patio para que toda la floración la hagan afuera, por ahora va de maravilla, como salgo de viaje por trabajo viene a regarla otra persona que me ayuda y no siempre le mide el PH y aun así la planta va super bien, definitivamente es una genética muy fuerte 💪

Plant ready to be harvested in 1,5 - 2 weeks so I stopped feeding it with nutrients. The flowers got bigger and much more sticky. The smell became very strong.

Hello Diary. The third week of vegetation has passed and Fat Banana has entered the pre-flowering phase. The plant grew 41 cm in the first three weeks, which is one third less than its roommate Haze Berry. Fat Banana has developed dense branches with lots of leaves, now the leaves and branches are causing problems when watering. I continue to add BioBizz to each watering on a schedule for that week, and I also started adding CalMag preventively. Fat Banana has also become more thirsty, now watering is almost every two days when I prepare 6 liters of water with which I water all three plants evenly. All in all, everything is fine for now and I’m looking forward to the start of flowering. Let’s take a look at the review of the week. 09/10/2020 - Day 15. Watering. I added BioBizz as scheduled for the third week and added 1.5ml / lit CalMag preventively. p.H. I lowered the values ​​to 6.4 with Plagron’s Lemon Kick. The temperature of the water I water with is always around 18, 19 degrees. I also put in a Box and another fan. Temp / Humidity on the farm - 25.3 degrees and 48% humidity. 11/10/2020 - Day 17. I dropped to 6.4 Temp / Humidity on the farm - 25.2 degrees and 45% humidity. Fat Banana Auto - Day 21. - 41 cm This week I have finished the vegetation and am entering the flowering phase. This week has been all about new beginnings and meticulous care, as we continue to nurture these beauties towards their full potential. Let’s dive in! New Home, Sweet Home This week, our P.C.R.s made the big move to their new 3x3 tent, and boy, do they love it! Under the bright and consistent light of the ViparSpectra P2000, these plants are set to thrive. The P2000 is a game-changer, offering a full spectrum that mimics natural sunlight, ensuring our plants get the best light for every stage of their growth. It’s like bringing a slice of the sun indoors! Leaf Love and Clones We also took some leaves and cuts this week to encourage bushier growth and to propagate new plants. Each cut was carefully treated with Clonex Gel, a rooting hormone that gives our clones the best start. Think of it as a nutrient-packed smoothie for our cuttings, providing all they need to develop strong, healthy roots. To keep our new clones happy and hydrated, we used Clonex Mist, which is like a gentle rain shower, supplying essential nutrients and promoting robust root development. It’s all about giving them the TLC they need to become the next generation of thriving plants. TLC and Maintenance With the move, I made sure to maintain the optimal environment inside the tent. Our TDS is holding steady at 410, with a pH of 5.8 and a temperature of 21°C for watering. These parameters are crucial for nutrient uptake and overall plant health, ensuring our P.C.R.s have everything they need to flourish. Medium: 🥥🥥🥥🥥 Coco remains as the most manageable medium in our arsenal. It’s simplistic, similar to conventional soil but as a nutrient neutral medium, it’s also much more tailored to the growers preferences in terms of feeding. It’s best attribute is excellent drainage and consistency - a lot fluffier than soil which definitely translates to faster growth rates. It’s a damn shame that this particular grower forgot the cardinal f$&@king rule when it comes to any grow - always water to run off and pay attention to the strength of the feed in relation to the plants growth stage. If we had followed these basic principles we wouldn’t have run into the serious late stage burn that almost toasted the whole plant. On the flip side of that, coco flushes out incredibly well and if not for this attribute, the whole grow would’ve been an unmitigated disaster. Method 🎚️🎚️🎚️🎚️ Uggghhh - hindsight f$&@‘n sucks sometimes. Best descriptor for how we grew this girl - imagine having the dinner table set with your finest china, a bottle of the most expensive red wine you can find, a brand new top-o-the-line BBQ, and then burning the absolute f$&k out of a $40 prime rib. That’s exactly how this grow feels... We were looking to scrog it the whole time and this went perfectly. The plant helped quite a bit with longer than expected internodal spacing. This allowed for a really even canopy/bed of buds. Again though, the vipar 450w (truly a 200w~) shit the bed mid veg. And we needed a replacement. Went with a 100w SpiderFarmer QB. While I truly am pleased with the purchase I do believe that we should’ve upp’d to the 200w model (or 2, 100w models) to achieve a similar output and result - @silverback_guerilla was right on point with the lighting advice (*again). Given the reduced yield it just feels like the nodal spacing and overall bud quality may have suffered with the reduced power. This, despite the better light spectrum and overall coverage in general. As an aside - an additional Fixture is now on the way😉👍. Worst part about this is we’ll never really know what the true limiting factor actually was due to the nute burning. Probably the single most stupid, rook mistake I could’ve made was not watering to runoff.... just too much shit going down in the world (and in life) these days and I started to treat the grow like it was on auto pilot🤬🤬🤬. The whole worlds a cluster f$&k right now so why should the grow be any different right? 4/5 for the method, losing1 point because the grower is a lazy moron. Yield/Harvest🌴 The final numbers are better than expected, 2.26oz of usable bud. Not overly fluffy and not overly dense. Not glazed in frost but not without a little shimmer. All around mediocre unfortunately. What it coulda? Shoulda? Woulda been??? Note sure 🤔 but we’ll take it👍. On a more positive note - There was still another new addition to our grow cycle. This time on the back end. Everyone knows that trimming just plain sucks. When we’re spitt’n out 3-4 plants every few months, the exercise is a dreaded necessity if were gonna maintain the vast array of choice that we’re used to🤙👌. The whole process just for one plant can take hours unless you have help. We prefer to wet trim too so for those that don’t require a commercial size trimmer, the only option to save some time is a trim bowl. We bit the bullet, dropped the cash on one - have NOT been disappointed at all! Not only did it cut the chop process from 2-3 hours down to a mere 45 minutes, the buds literally came out rack ready. There was no need to do any touch up trimming and the bud photos you see are as-is, right out the bowl🤩. Really coulda used this last fall and I would recommend this to anyone who chops more than a handful of plants per year. Just awesome and worth every penny!👌🤙👍 At times like these, we should all just be thankful that we still have both the opportunity and ability to grow our own✌️. Out of Amsterdam, they are the 2nd such breeder to market their genetics worldwide and can lay claim to the origins of their beans better than most (if not all) others. They’ve produced here an indica hybrid cross of M33/Friesland Indica with an elite clone of Lava Cake. We’re hoping to encounter one of the purple phenos but only time will tell. She’s supposed to be super strong too and not for the faint of heart 👍. We’ve been wait’n on this one awhile and she’ll be getting individual treatment in the small cab - 5gal. Coco w/perlite and the typical nute regimen. Advance props for the best packaging I’ve ever seen (although you may need to be an 80’s baby or older to truly appreciate it😉). See week 1 photos.
