Flower Week 6 Day 42 to 48 - 3/26 to 4/1 Stepped up my attention with these this week and hope I didnt let them go too far for a decent harvest. I defoliated for the last time this week and spotted more purple leaves. The buds are super dense so I have higher hopes than I did last week Feed this week was 1.25 gallons 2 times. 700ppm total before add-ins. I used 400ppm Bloom concentrate mix (recipe week 5). Then I added 1ml/gal of CaliMagic (General Hydroponics 1-0-0) PH balance this week was 6.6 I plan to feed 1.25gal 2 times with 6.6ph and half nutes. This will also be the same for all remaining feeds before harvest. From this point Im simply watching for signs to harvest in the pistils, calyx, and trichomes

It is getting real bushy in there and i have some thirsty plants. Tent is getting pretty packed and the stretch is on. I might have to water almost everyday, I suspect them to be on the edge of rootbound. Should have went with 14 liter pots or might even 18. Smell is amazing and they are starting to get sticky when i pick fan leaves. Defoliation is coming at the end of next week tho. But it is really bushy i have been picking tons of leaves so far. Tempted to strip them sooner than 21 days into flower but we will see.

I've been dealing with a lot of heat issues. I've tried different things and what seems to have helped is more fans in the tent, and I put a bucket of ice in daily. The video is a time-lapse from week 3 and part of four. Jenny had some slight leaf cupping most likely due to some heat stress which I've since corrected. I also come to realize in week 4 I was underwatering/feeding my plants. Raising the lights, adding fans, and daily ice buckets have made for really great looking plants in the tent. Once in a while, I have dropped some dry ice in and it seems to give the plants a little boost. It may be in my head, but the temp drop, the co2 release, and humidity bump seem to have helped. The only type of LST I have done is put a fan in to blow the plants around, and I have tucked some bigger leaves under smaller ones to expose the new growth or flowering site to more light. All in all, I have been hands-off with my plants. I do rotate them and shift them around the tent a lot.

Welcome to week six! 🌱 Week five was a complete success – all parameters are perfectly aligned. I’ve increased the water conductivity to a solid 3000 and bumped the CO2 level up to 1200 🌿. Light intensity is now set at 1400 µmol in the center and 1000 at the edges, which will keep the plants strong in their generative state 🌞. I’ll maintain these levels until the end of the third week and then start slowly removing the large fan leaves to ensure the buds get plenty of light 💡✨. I’m also trying something new to activate the “Emerson effect” 🌄: I’m running the deep red lights for 5 minutes before sunset and for another 5 minutes after the day ends. This should give the plants a final boost in photosynthesis, helping to maximize their growth potential! Everything’s looking fantastic so far! The Black Cherry has rooted well across different experimental setups, and at the end of the grow, I’ll provide a full report on the best care techniques for both strains 🌺👌. Day 44 since flipping and this girl is getting close to finishing. No more feeding for her. Just some Cyco Supa Sticky today and next watering and water from there on out. Got about 75-80 percent cloudy. The sweet orange citrus smell is PHENOMENAL! Got about 2, maybe 3, weeks left and she'll be done. Had to tie up a couple branches because she's falling over from putting on weight! I love her!

Mar 24: Watering till runoff now... runoff ppm was 2500+... Will be using very mild nutes to flush over 1 - 3 feeds... or until I am near my input. Mar 26: Continuing to use 650ppm feed with bloom focus, 2L per plant gives 15% runoff... Runoff ppm is still very high... I wanted to check pH of runoff but the color is so vibrant i cant use the pH drops to view color, need to get a pH probe. Plants are thriving, no issues at all. the extra fan fixed the post-water droop. One plant is bushy and has the most bud sites, One is the smallest but has the most uniform structure, this one has the biggest buds and thickest stalk, One is about in the middle of the 2. Mar 29: one of these girls gets droopy early when its time for water, thought the canopy was too high so i tied down some more, no cigar... gonna try increasing calmag, if that doesent work im going to reposition in the grow box to a side instead of middle, may not need the upper end ppfd...
