I am trying a new format for the weekly summary portion of my diary. Let me know what ya'll think! 👃 AROMA: Her aroma is fairly strong for this stage of flower. Blueberry dankness all the way! I look forward to experiencing the evolution of her terpine profile. One of my favorite aspects of growing cannabis is how much these plants change from start to finish and how much variation is possible with this plant. ❇️ BUD STRUCTURE: She is stacking on big round mounds of calyxes and looks like she is going to have large dense buds! 🎨 Color: She is a lighter almost an olive shade of green, right now. Her bright white pistils have a distinctive yellow hue to them. 🌿 STEM, STRETCH, & INTERNODES: She stretched more than I had expected. She has thick stems and relatively tight internodal growth. She definitely looks Indica in her bud structure. ✂️ TRAINING/PRUNING: I have continued selective defoliation as needed to avoid crowding herself and her neighbors. I remove no more than 25% of foliage at any one time, and usually closer 10-15%. I space out defoliation with a minimum of 3 days between sessions, in most instances. There will be exceptions to that, but this is a good rule of thumb I try to adhere to. She has been trained to have 6 main shoots and I am using LST techniques to gently bend her stems to evenly fill her space without overcrowding. ❄️TRICHOMES/RESIN PRODUCTION: Her buds are already starting to sparkle amd glisten. It looks like she will be a good resin producer! 🚿 WATER/FEED: I have continued with a light bidiurnal misting of White Dutch Clover cover crop . This in conjunction with running lower temps (New AC) has seemed to have drastically increased feeding intervals. My plants are needing much less water than in previous runs. I typically give the whole SOG one feed per week with light watering of select individual cultivars as needed between feeds. I try my best to "read" my garden. The amount of water between feeds depends on how soon the next feed will be. I feed the garden as a whole and this run I have been generally spacing feeds out 5-7 days or until the the first plant shows beginning signs of wilt (slight droop of lower fan leaves). 📝 OBSERVATION/NOTES: She doesnt appear to have any signs of deficiency or toxicity. Hello Growmies, The final chapter of this incredible journey has unfolded, and it's time to share the bountiful harvest and reflections on the entire cultivation process. Trimming the plant was a joy, and with gentle fingers, I removed all the large fan leaves. The precision in this process revealed the true beauty of the buds, setting the stage for a smooth harvest. With care and gratitude, the plant was chopped, and the buds were hung to dry. The anticipation for what lies ahead only adds to the sense of accomplishment. The wet weight, excluding fan leaves, stands at an impressive 782 grams. The buds are massive, a testament to the efficacy of the nutrients used, particularly the Power Buds. The name seems apt, as the result is a collection of sticky, dense buds with subtle lemon notes and sweet pungent undertones. In the final moments, the plant unveiled some delightful purple hues. While I wish I could have allowed them to intensify further, it's a reminder that each grow is a learning experience. In hindsight, a slightly longer fading period would have accentuated those beautiful colors. We live and learn, and that's the essence of this journey. I recently completed my very 1st harvest and now that I have gotten over the hurdle, I'm excited to be at it again (and with lots of great upgrades). In my first attempts at growing I thought it would be best to start with the most entry level equipment just to see how I enjoyed the experience; it's safe to say I'm HOOKED! This time around I have a larger tent (3x3) and am growing 4 plants instead of just one! 2 of these plants are Super Skunk (fem) and the other 2 are bag seed that I kept labeled (banana candy & 3x crazy). In addition to the Mars Hydro tent, I also got an affordable LED light that I am over the moon about :) After doing some research for several months I decided that the Hipargero 800w COB was a must-have, especially for the price! I haven't seen many people talk about it or use it but, everything that I did see was a raving review and from the couple of youtube videos and pictures I saw of the light in action I was quite impressed! It has a veg and bloom switch, and a daisy chain feature for those of you who are looking to make an upgrade... this might be the next light for you! These little babies are in Fox Farm's "Ocean Forest" and I am giving them a light misting of distilled water. By the end of the week I will probably place used coffee grounds on the top soil for so slow releasing nitrogen nutrients.

FD15 - Today was the start of the third week of flowering. I gave #1 2.5-liters of water @ pH 6.1. FD18 - I gave #2 2-liters of water @ pH 6.6.

Things went pretty well this week after having some PH issues in the previous week. The girls are all maturing at different rates and there’s a visible difference in their nutrient uptake and usage that I can see by the color of the leaves. One of the girls pistols have turned about 25% orange brown, while the other two only 10% or so. I decided to defoliate the majority of the fan leaves to help them along maturing and to manage the night time humidity levels. The trichombs are fattening up and turning milky white, only a few amber. Check out the short recording from my microscope. ✌️

On day 1 I changed out my reservoir. I lowered my nutes to 650 ppm(25% reduction). I adjusted the PH down to 6.1. My left plant has some burnt tips from either PH shift or over fertilization. My hope is that the lower ppm will help to resolve the issue before it spreads. On day 2 I adjusted the reservoirs PH from 6.3 to 5.9. On day 3 the reservoirs PH is 6.0. I installed my new 200 watt HLG Rspec. I adjusted PPFD readings to 700-1300 PPFD on all tops. On day 4 I adjusted the reservoirs PH from 5.8 to 6.2. On day 5 I adjusted the reservoirs PH from 6.4 to 6.0. I diluted my nutrients in my reservoir by removing one gallon of nutrients from the rez and and adding 2 gallons of straight tap water to the rez. This brought the nute concentration from 770 ppm to 540 ppm as the plants will be entering the ripening stage in a few days and they have too much nitrogen judging by the extremely dark green leaves and burnt leaf tips on some branches of the left side plant. The buds seem slightly smaller then my last run which may be due to an excess of nitrogen and maybe not enough light as some of my tops are taller then the others making proper PPFD challenging. All in all the girls are coming along nice and I look forward to the final weeks of flowering 😀 On day 6 I adjusted the reservoirs PH from 5.9 to 6.2. I think I have halted the nute burn as I haven't seen it progressing any more on the leaves. I will continue to monitor closely during these final weeks. The trichome production is increasing with some trichs on top of colas starting to go cloudy. The pistils are turning brown with roughly 40-50% are turning brown all signs I'm getting closer to the harvest window 😆. I dimmed my light to give 600-1000 PPFD to tops. On day 7 I reduced my temps to 75 during the day and 68 at night. I adjusted the PH of the reservoir from 6.6 to 6.1. My reservoirs ppm was too high so I diluted the rez with 2 gal of tap water. This brought it down to 480ppm. The average ppfd to all 14 tops is 604 with no top receiving more than 1000 ppfd
