Just growing through the net now, slight defoliation only when needed, cleaned out some low hanging leaves underneath and a few hopeless bud sites under the canopy. I feel like I could probably defoliate a bit more but not gonna push my first plant, just doing as much tucking as I can to help out. Its adding an inch plus everyday of height now and I am not sure how tall she is going to stretch, Im running out of room above the lights so from here on nearly every inch of stretch will be closing that gap. 18” now will be keeping a close eye and hopefully will not have to dim my lights. Currently running 200w @ 100% veg tuned.

hello growers" I started the 2nd week of flora by cleaning the reservoirs, adding a new nutrient solution and adding ADVANCED NUTRIENTS BIG BUD and making a big deloliation. 👊 For the beginning of the 2nd week of flora a LOLIPOP pruning was also done. ------- We completed another week, the buds are growing at an accelerated pace. Next week when I'm cleaning the reservoirs, I'll do a new defoliation on the girls. I'm running out of space in my tent they are growing absurdly. 👽

I haven't done any cut on her all vegging long. Just a deep defoliation. She's been over 70 days old, and she's 8 days blooming already. NPK - 04 -14 -8 every watering.

A-Day 60, B&C Day 56 A is fattening up! She never did stretch, but then again I had her tied and splayed pretty far out. She has been thirsty, I have been feeding a dose close to 1000 ppm every other feed which has been every other day for her. During the lower feeds, ppm has been around 400. Her tricomes are mostly clear, with some cloudy starting to show. She still has a couple of weeks to go. B- is going to be a producer! She has so many tips and they are all fattening and developing at about the same rate, she is going to be a beast! Did a defoliation on her, she is appreciating the extra light penetration 😎💨 C- Has stretched up and out! If she stacks as tight as the other two, she will probably be the one with the most weight. Her branches are the tallest and reaching up at least 4-6 inches past both her sisters. I tied her down lightly to allow light to get through, we’ll see how she goes.

Sensi Seeds Jack Herer 8 weeks of veg completed 28th Jan 2020 I performed some high stress training techniques (HST) to my Jack herer Girl during the week. Basically I pinched and bent the stems of the longest branches to make them grow horizontally rather than straight up in the air. I did this to keep the canopy reasonably even giving all the potential bud sites an even distribution of sunlight. Hopefully this will eliminate a lot of the "popcorn" small buds and create nice fat colas. We shall see in a few weeks time 😃 She also got a nice big drink of High tea which the plants really seem to love . Overall I am very happy with this plants health and characteristics. Surprised by how well the water is wicked to the medium from the water bottle, it took a long time, but wick works as intended. I was unsure how much if any nutrient would be transferred via wick but the high salt content altered pH at certain parts. Right before the symptoms arose I decided to supercrop the stem top to bottom on one plant, shortly thereafter the burning happened from the same plant from running 8.0 pH, and nutrient uptake ground to a halt on the plant that was dealing with stress. She doesn't seem happy. Remedied with aluminum sulfate, things seem to be coming back to normal. I need to be more careful with salts. I need MOAR knowledge. How many weeks shall we veg? Going to take a while to fill that canopy with just two plants, should probably start topping now but I'll wait until pH problem Is remedied first, a couple more days hopefully 🙏. I defoliated maybe 6 bigger leaves that had burned yellow on one plant, as it comes back to optimal range, this will be a good opportunity to observe the subtle differences that early defoliation can make. Added a pound of tourmaline powder and biochar, both increase soil urease and invertase activities. *2025 Didn't charge the biochar skewing my ph drastically. Urease is an enzyme that catalyzes the hydrolysis of urea into CO2 and NH3 and is a key component in the nitrogen cycle in soils. Invertase (d-fructofuranosidfructohydrolase, EC 3.2.1.26) is the enzyme that capable both break down α-1,4-glycosidic linkage between d-glucose and d-fructose of sucrose and transferring αβ-D-O-fructofuranoside residue to an acceptor substrate (Toledo et al., 2019). Since tourmaline is widely distributed in the natural environment and has many excellent physical and chemical properties including radiating far infrared energy, permanently releasing negative ions, producing an electrostatic field, releasing rare microelements, and stimulating the growth and metabolism of microorganisms and plants, tourmaline had been conducted to alleviate potential environmental pollution. Perfect for how much seaweed I've added just incase.

Pretty normal week. No issues or problems this week. The Green Tea strain from Mosca Seeds is doing very well. She is growing pretty much the way she should right now so really just watering, fertilizing and watching her grow. She will be big enough soon to transplant into a bigger fabric pot. She will also be ready to top soon. I will have to get some more info on this strain before I decide if I want to top her or not.

Transferred to a 5 gallon. She acclimated really fast and you can see her spreading out. No complaints thus far.

***May 13 No reservoir change any more until the end of flower. I'm just filling it up with water as it goes, I'll let the plant flush itself out for anything it needs. Mainly because it's gotten too big and heavy to take out of the tent comfortably. The branches are all leaning over, and the buds are starting to finish up now. I have to take the loop to it to check the trichomes, but I think in another week or a little longer I'll be able to chop her down. Man I'm so excited to see what she brings to smoke!! I've never seen a freakshow with big nugs and not looking like a wiry mess, so I am a little proud of myself for a first hydro hahaha. Still dank as hell when I open the tent. Sorry for all the late updates, things are getting busy!

9.2. - I've decided that this is the last week of feeding or maybe last feeding as I'm already considering to flush. Leaves are still yellowing, however the buds are looking fat and frosty. Thankfully, they grow bigger each day with stronger smell. I see more and more amber trichomes. ❄️ Watered 💧 11.2. - Watered 💧 12.2. - Looks like snow blizzard in the tent ❄️ also the smell is getting so strong that my filter is not enough 😁 Buds are swelling and the Gelato plant went totally crazy as you can see...finally, things are going well ❤️‍ 15.2. - Week wrap-up: Today I flushed 4 of 7 plants 🚽 This was very successful week as I got rid of the deficiencies and buds gained a lot of weight and sugar 🍭 Also the Gelato plant is thriving and I'm very excited to see the final results. Hey guys! 😀 Another update! This week my babies were still showing signs of deficiencies and I'm now almost 100% sure the culprit is Magnesium. Next week I'll add some CalMag to the mix both in water and thru some foliar application, hopefully that will help them. Besides of that Pistachio is outgrowing Matcha by a big margin, it's obvious she's still recovering or she's still somehow stunned (maybe she'll stay small till the end of her days 😢). Either I decided to defoliate both of them and on top of that do LST on Matcha... and both responded well to it, that's good! 😍 They looked super sad for a moment 😰 The new branches look nice and the wounds were I did the topping look healthy for both plants, nice!
