Let’s Go day 29!! This week went real nice ! Girls are staying very healthy and building up nicely and even started showing signs of female sex which is super great ! We started doing a little bit of leaf tuck training method on em , nothing to big as like I said I want these girls just to do there thang an grow more on naturally side! My Air temp and Humidity have been on point all week, staying from 70-75 degrees throughout the day and humidity staying around 58-61% humidity , my girls are loving that summer an 75 feeling !! Blütewoche 9 – Ernte in Sicht? Zeitraum: 17. Juli bis 24. Juli Blütetag: 56 bis 63 So langsam geht's wirklich dem Ende entgegen, die neunte Blütewoche ist rum, und die Lady sieht einfach nur fantastisch aus! Die Buds sind richtig schön ausgereift, dick, harzig und verströmen einen herrlich fruchtig-süßen Duft. Es kribbelt schon in den Fingern – ich denke, bald ist es soweit. Ich hab mir diese Woche regelmäßig die Trichome unter die Lupe genommen. Einige sind noch glasig, viele schon schön milchig, und vereinzelt zeigen sich auch die bernsteinfarbenen. Es sieht also sehr vielversprechend aus, aber ich warte vielleicht noch ein bis zwei Tage, um noch etwas mehr Reife rauszuholen. Heute checke ich sie nochmal gründlich und entscheide dann, ob geerntet wird oder ob ich ihr noch ein kleines bisschen Zeit gebe. Was ich in der letzten Woche gemacht habe. Ich habe den Lichtzyklus nochmal angepasst. Vom 18. bis zum 21. Juli lief sie unter 11/13, danach hab ich auf 10/14 runtergeschaltet. Damit wollte ich ihr ganz klar signalisieren: „Es ist Zeit, fertig zu werden.“ Zusätzlich habe ich die Lampe nochmal um 10 cm höher gehängt, um die Lichtintensität etwas zu reduzieren und den Stress zum Ende hin minimal zu halten. Gegossen habe ich übrigens nicht mehr. Man merkt deutlich, dass sie in der Endphase nicht mehr so viel Durst hat – das Substrat bleibt deutlich länger feucht. Etwas Sorge hat mir die Luftfeuchtigkeit gemacht. Die war wetterbedingt ein wenig erhöht, lag aber mit 56–66 % noch im vertretbaren Bereich. Die Temperaturen waren nachts bei 22–25 °C, tagsüber bei 28–30 °C, also alles im grünen Bereich. Bisher sieht alles gut aus, keine Spur von Schimmel. Die Pflanze kommt mit den Bedingungen gut klar. Jetzt steht also die finale Phase an. Die Ernte und das Trocknen. Auch das wird nochmal spannend, aber wenn das Wetter halbwegs stabil bleibt, sollte es gute Bedingungen dafür geben. Das nächste Update kommt dann nach der Ernte, wenn die Buds getrocknet sind und ich ein erstes Fazit ziehen kann. Ich freu mich drauf!

First off, I hope all who visit this journal watch the timelapse. I'm very happy with how it turned out. The GSC is in the foreground. Comparing the beginning to the end shows just how dramatically my plant has grown in the past week. This plant now has a photo-period neighbor! I have changed the light schedule back to 18-6 to accommodate. Her chronicles will be in a separate journal. Towards the end of week two, I noticed the leaves were forming brown spots that I took as a sign of calcium deficiency. To treat this, I used a gallon of (hard) tap water, adding calcium to the reservoir. Luckily this seems to have done the trick! The spots have been absent on all subsequent leaf growth. Sometime in the middle of this week, I had to re balance the pH from ~7 to ~6. Perhaps this pH fluctuation came from the tap water transfusion. In an effort to raise the RH in the tent, I've repetitively spilled a small amount of water on the floor of the tent. Doing this keeps the RH around 45-50%. I've made some other small changes to my grow setup as shown in the pictures. Prior to this week, I'd thought my plant was hopelessly behind developmentally compared to other user's because I'd compare their week two plants to mine. Luckily, this week has seen some growth! It's crazy how fast they shoot off after their first three-fingered leaves form. The first "real" set of leaves to grow in (not three-fingered yet), seemed to take forever to grow into their full size while not much else (besides the roots) seemed to grow. This week's three-pointed leaves have practically fully formed already. Alongside them, are the beginnings of yet more leaves! I'm not certain what I will do this next week. I may start LSTing this plant, though I'm not sure when exactly I should do this. My original plan for my plants was to implement a screen of green using a trellis. I have sense realized this may not be the best approach while using a DWC, because water changed would be made much more difficult. Have any of you DWC growers experiment with this? Is it worthwhile? I will likely not replace the water for another week, though that's not set in stone. I appreciate any advise regarding the training techniques I mentioned, water switch outs and anything else that may be relevant to this grow. I will more than likely ask a few designated questions. Day 21: So we are currently in day 21, I finished all my work for my growroom. They where pushed into flowering 5 days ago. They always need to settle first before even turning into that stage. So my gues that in the end of the next week we will start to see the first indicators. I still gave them veg nutrients this week since they are still in growing stage. I did notice that many plants have weak stems and where sloppy underneeth. Didn't liked that, so in order to have thicker stems and branches I decided to top all the plants ( not showing in these picutues, i did that after making the pictures) Topping your plants will create stronger thick stems and branches! Also removed the first 1-2 internodes on each branch. I kept 5 or 7 branches each plant. I can't remember the ''science'' behind it but I have been told that many years ago by fellow OG Dutch growers and Family members. Anyway It is importend to have uneven branches. So 5, 7 or even 9 but never 6 or 8. Normaly I would have loved a huge main cola and it is known by many amnesia growers to not top the plants because they make beautifull thick main colas. On the other hand, when having this much plants on each m2, it will create weak stems and branches. I rather have strong plants with thick stems and branches to transport all nutrients properly and not breaking when having buds on them or having to mayor support them. The leafs, stems and branches look fine to me. No stress or deficiencies. 1/3 of them like to drink thought which is a good thing but it really enjoying. Now I have to weigh by lifting the pots which one needs more or less feedings lol. Instead of giving them all like 5 seconds of water. Might show you guys my feeding ''barrel'' next week. It is a 250L one. Untill next week.

Did some super light defol and leaf tucking trying to maintain a flat top canopy. It’s been in preflower for about 16 days now with no crowns formed yet.

This particular plant seems to be growing well! Has been defoliated over the week and toped a second time! As well as mainlining her! Looks very healthy and happy 😊 🌸💕

Another week has flown by! The girls are doing great, cruise control this week as I have just been monitoring RH and temps. Trying to keep them as low as possible, I’ve been getting as low as 74 during the day and 68 at night. I finally took a look a look at the trichomes with my jewellers loop, lots of cloudy, and a few amber around the leaves and top colas, but still lot’s of clear trichomes. I’ve ordered myself a wireless/usb digital microscope to assist with the process, and looks like it will be here just in time to determine harvest day. 😎🎄 I started by eliminating the nutrients at the beginning of the week. I typically allow for 3-4 pure water feeds before I harvest, and at the rate they have been drinking, this should be enough to get through the 7-12 days they have before harvest. I don’t flush, but rather “rinse” with normal water amounts, allowing the plant to use up the remaining nutrients in the soil. This also allows me to recover most of the soil from my grows and reuse ♻️ with other soil mix. There has been great debate and a great deal of bro science out there for many years, but the recent studies suggest there is no difference in end result when it comes to flushing or using nutrients right until the end, if a proper dry and cure is performed. Day 22 and 23: Going easy breezy so far!! I released some ladybugs in my tents on these Chocolate Mint OG's 21st day. So far so good lol. Last night when I watered I gave a little real growers recharge to help with the recent transplant (it definitely gave them a boost!) Its mid summer here in MI and 84+ temps 😬 keeping the house and tents cool has been a challenge to say the least. Thankfully all my plants are in Veg and seem to like the heat. Except the Choc Mint.they are showing mild heat stress on the top fan leaves(at least that's my guess) Tent temps have been around 86 down to 84 daytime. I lowered them so they are 24" from the lights 🤞 hopefully that helps. Other than that, no problems. And some generally happy plants! The recharge and soil combo burned them a very little bit as well. Day 25&26 Nothing too eventful. I watered #2 on day 25. With some real growers recharge. The stuff is awesome! No nutrients needed if you have good soil! Day 26: snip 2 fan leaves from #2(the topped one) she was getting a little bushy. And tucked the other fans under to promote some lower branch growth. #1 I'm letting roll totally natural unless I clean up lower canopy to prevent pests. Day 27: Plants are doing great! #1 is really getting tall and # 2 is staying short and squat because of the training. We are letting #1 go naturally. 1/18 Ah boy. Somethings definitely a little wiggity with her here. The fact that the tent hasn't been above 70 in a long time probably has something to do with it. These LEDs don't seem to produce sufficient heat to keep the tent warm and it has become a catch 22 because I usually dim my lights slightly when I see a plant starting to show distress. This has always been a problem for me in this environment during these months. Some plants just adapt better than others. I might have to keep this thing alive in veg for awhile until it shows signs of improvement because flowering a struggling plant is always a bad idea imo.

She is looking beautiful and her Smell is so intensive you cannot unsmell it. Its Loud! Has Some Sweet doughy, Stanky, Cheesy and Garlic notes to it. I cant wait for the smoke. Has Some Fruity (Plum or Tangie like), Soapy and Floral Notes to it. I cant wait for the smoke.

This plant just got flushed so all old salts are gone, tommorow i start watering with just finalpart at 3ml/L she will be ready one week later, 10 days max. So next update is harvest.

Seems I was letting the temp get to low during the night.. I noticed some slow growth did some investigating and that was it. During the day 86/87 and at night it was hitting like 60 and 50’s.. So I’m hoping that was my issue.. But other then that they look beautiful and healthy.. Nutrient burned Red D is 100% now and growing.. I defoliated both of them yesterday, mostly cleaned the Red D’s branches. Just want all her energy going up not out.. But the slow growth sucks hoping it changes now..

Day 1 of flower

It’s the eighth week of flowering, and the plant is looking absolutely gorgeous! The buds and leaves have turned a deep purple with rich autumn hues, giving the plant such a unique, almost magical appearance. The sweet smell has become even stronger and fills the whole grow space with a powerful, sugary aroma. 🍬🌿 I’ve noticed the trichomes starting to turn an amber color—just the sign I’ve been waiting for! Most of them are still milky, but the amber hints show we’re getting close. This week, I’ve started the flushing process to clear out any remaining nutrients and prepare for harvest. 💧 Everything’s on track, and I couldn’t be more excited for the final steps! 😁✨

6/15 Everything was dry this morning but the bags STILL had some heft. Much lighter though so I decided to water. I didn't realize how cold the hose is so I'll have to usecthe water inside or premix it. I watered everything at least a half gallon. Things are going great. I'll update as I go. UPDATE: IM GLAD I WATERED. ITS 73° OUT AND NICE AND SUNNY. 6/16 Foggy morning has turned into a sunny day! Plants are doing amazing. So glad I watered. I took a shit ton of pictures but they don't seem to be uploading. VERY FRUSTRATING TO TAKE THE TIME TO TAKE PICS AND VIDEO ONLY TO HAVE IT NOT UPLOAD. It's working now. I canceled out after I uploaded everything. Trying to upload again now. EDIT: EVERYTHING IS FIXED. I UPLOADED A BUNCH OF STUFF. PLANTS IN THE BACK AND THE FRONT SEEMED DRY AND LIGHT. I GAVE THE TWO 10'S AT LEAST A HALF GALLON. I GAVE THE THIRTY A GALLON AND SPLIT THE REMAINDER WITH THE 20'S. I MIXED UP 5 GALLONS. EVEN THOUGH THE PLANTS IN THE MIDDLE WERE DRY THEY STILL WERE FAIRLY HEAVY. IT IS SUNNY AND 80° WITH STRONG WIND. I'LL WATER THE OTHERS IF NEEDED BEFORE WE GET SOME RAIN. WE HAVE RAIN IN THE FORECAST SO ILL KEEP AN EYE OUT. IM VERY IMPRESSED WITH THE GROWTH IM SEEING. I NEED TO DO SOME MORE LST SOON AND PUT UP A TRELLIS. 6/17 I'm glad I watered those plants. Everything is looking GREAT! I didn't get pictures as I was in a hurry. The 3 plants in tje middle are dry on top bit about as heavy as the others. The wind doesn't go through them like the others. I would've watered but they looked happy and we are supposed to be getting rain. I'll be back over later and re-evaluate.
