Stackin’ Up & Frostin’ Over ❄️🔥 Time for another Red Hot Cookies update—and things are getting thick out here! 💥 We’ve officially entered Week 3 of flowering, and the buds are swelling up beautifully. They're starting to frost over with trichomes too, which makes every morning check-in feel like unwrapping a tiny gift. 🎁✨ She’s been looking vibrant and strong, with no signs of stress despite the intense heat lately. We had several days pushing over 34°C, so I’ve been watering daily to keep her happy and hydrated. The grow routine this week looked like this: 🔸 Dosed with BioBizz Grow + Bloom + TopMax every 3 days 🔸 A round of compost tea for those living soil boosts 🌿 🔸 Effective Microorganisms to keep things biologically buzzing ⚠️ I’ve paused the silica spray now that the buds are forming Oh—and some extra good news: Spider mites? Gone. 🕷️🚫 They picked the wrong grow to mess with, and it feels great to see clean leaves again. Can’t wait to see how she stacks over the next few weeks. **** Week 13 growth - February 27 to March 5, 2021 - Week 4 Flower ***** This girl weathered this week better than others in the tent due to her height......some times it pays to be short😂......the light stress was less for her. She is certainly not growing a lot of bud so hope that what we do yield is fire💪 She is a pretty girl with leaves up and a very nice colour. Curl from heat is minimal or from other factors. She is starting to show some small signs of a little too much nitrogen but over all very nice. Frost production is taking off later in the week and showing good levels on fan leaves as well. Trusting there is going to be some good swelling of the buds in the weeks ahead. She took longer through transition week and I would say she is actually a good 5 days behind the other girls so she may run a little longer in flower at the end as well getting more in the 10 week range??? Time will tell. Light intensity increased this week. Pushed up to 525 watts and then to 550 watts at the end of the week. This got the a little hot by the end of the week though. Working with a new light and finding the sweet spots takes a run or two. Learning how the girls grow anyway so the whole run is a lot of learning......its all good😀 Nutrients were pushed a little at the end of last week and the start of this week so backing off a bit more again. Given that they were pushed with light intensity they started showing some signs of nutrient issues. It’s good though as there is reaction time and back off to plain water feed for a couple of days at the end of the week and into week 5. Week 5 is going to be the start of the last stage of flower feed and work with that for two weeks, then stop feeding at the end of week 6........the plan so far anyway. Mimosa is longer strain though so they may get another week.👍 Little more detail....... Feb 27/21 - Day 22 - big feed day - all IPP line plus silica @ 1ml, CalMag @ 1ml, Rezin @ 1.5ml, enzymes @ 1.5ml - 1650ppm and 6.1pH - 4L Feb 28/21 - Day23 - Microbe day but also added some CalMag - Natures Candy @ 1.5ml, Recharge @ 1/2 tsp/gal, Magnifical @ 1.5ml, Micro @ 1ml, Bloom 1.5ml, Terpinator @ 2ml - 950 ppm and 6.0pH - 3L - leaf colour almost looks light today. Mar 1/21 - Day 24 - dry out day. Mar 2/21 - Day 25 - plain water - 300ppm and 6.1 ph - 4L - light power pushed up to 550 watts today. - (too much from 16” to 20”........note!!) Mar 3/21 - Day 26 - plain water with two suppliiments - Terpinator @ 3ml, Rezin @ 2ml. - 525ppm & 6.0pH - 4L - stripped some leaves today......sticky in the middle😃😃👍👍 Mar 4/21 - Day 27 - no water added today - light power reduced today 450 watts. - been going too hard with intensity. Seeing leaf curl on other girls in the tent. - joys of diagnosing cannabis😂 - starting with backing off light and reduce ppm going in but not the ml👍 Mar 5/21 - Day 28 - hit with microbes again to help with stresses. - recharge @ 1 tsp/gal, Nature’s Candy @ 1.5ml - 375ppm and 6.0pH - 3L Moving right along we are through 4 weeks now and moving past the middle of flower.

May 31st - Day 104 : I had to take two babies out because of the lack of space in the tent. Didn’t realize they would grow that much.. So I planted them outside and will let them do their thing as I didn’t have the heart to kill them. But besides that, thriving.

Well she is down. Smells so dam good. Proper zesty smell. Can’t wait to sample her in a week before she goes in to cure. Will update next week with harvest ect. Happy growing all and be safe 😎

This weeks pictures are of the Blue Glue. So I had the two growing in one oot and one turned male very soon so I got rid of it instead of collecting pollen. I will never do that again. It turns out the blue glue male and female had a mutation that is creating extra thick pistols it looks like pipecleaners instead of hairs. The plants are very short but have an extra dense canopy. Ive trimmed it two time now and might have to do it again.

Hi Growmies, Again another very uneventful week. The plant is doing what she is supposed to do, getting ready to bulk :) For the coming week PK 13/14 will be added so she can use that to fatten and ripen properly. So far I am quite happy with the results, she is much leaner than her mother and basically only consists of stems and buds. Strangely enough some friends of mine who took cuttings are actually tickling out a bunch of purple hues on the leaves and buds, wonder if this could be temperature related. Guess I will see once have a temp controlled fan …

Finished her second week of flush, plan on harvesting her as soon as her pot has fully dried out. Trichomes appear mainly cloudy to the point where the buds appear white. I’ve smoked a few test buds that I took a couple of days into her flush, the taste even at that point was unreal! By far the strongest strain I’ve grown to date. Happy with how everything looks, until next time 🌱💚

Learning a ton as I go. Started low stress training using rubberized wire poked down into the soil. Spent a lot of time just tucking the fan leaves down. I'm an idiot when it comes to watering. I dont think I'm getting enough down to the bottom of the pot, but dont want to over water. I'll just continue with what I'm doing.

🇺🇸 Grow Journal – Week 12 | Pineapple Upside Down (Veg) Week 12 of veg — the Pineapple Upside Down is cruising steady and looking stronger than ever. I’ve been letting her just do her thing, focusing on recovery and structure before deciding if I’ll top her later. At this stage, it’s all about patience and letting her build up natural vigor. Nutrient-wise, still running the Athena Blended line, holding the mix at EC 1.4. I’ve been experimenting with Athena Balance, and I have to say — it’s impressive. My base water pH usually fluctuates between 6.3 and 6.8, depending on the day. I add 1 ml of Balance, which actually brings it up close to pH 9.3. Once the nutrients are mixed in, the solution drops back down to around pH 7–7.2, and from there I fine-tune it with a touch of pH Down to land right around 6.0–6.1. I allow a gentle drift down to 5.8, but whenever it hits that mark, I bump it back up slightly to keep things steady around 6.1–6.2. Honestly, Athena keeps the reservoir incredibly clean — crystal clear every time. It’s one of those small details that really makes a difference when you’re running hydro long-term. Temperatures are holding around 22–23°C, with humidity between 70 and 75%, which keeps the environment perfect for steady vegetative growth. She’s lush, healthy, and just waiting for her turn in the flower tent — if I had more space, she’d probably be flipping already. That’s about it for this week — nothing flashy, just solid progress and patience. Can’t wait to see how she performs once she hits flower. Extremely frustrated with bugs that got taken care of with some neem oil and ladybugs. Now this Northern Lights went from a front runner to completely sick and dying. Idk how it happened to just one plant and in a short period of time. All in all though, everything else growing is fine besides the Northern Lights.

Steadily growing, the leaves are so big and almost ruffled compared to what I'm used to!
