FBA2502 Plants 1-6 Week 7 May 11– 17 FLOWER 3 Nutrients : Micro 25 ml Gro 10 ml Bloom 30ml CalMag 30 ml Recharge 10ml Green sensation 16.5ml Power buds 7.5 ml 5/11 PH 6.56, PPM 1560, temp 69 2ltr each 5/12 PH 6.31, PPM 1120, temp 68 1 ltr each 5/14 PH 6.66, PPM 1280, temp 70 1 ltr each 5/15 PH 6.66, PPM 850, temp 72 1 ltr each 5/11 Defoliation, feed, pics & videos I made 4 gallons, used 3 to water then poured the runoff back into the rest in the bucket. The next feeding, I added a gallon of tap water to residual and ph to 6,31 temp 69 & PPm 1120. Did the same on 5/14 and 15 using up the remainder of the feed solution. I must monitor and control the tent environment manually. For the past month, the humidifier has been an issue putting out way too much humidity; often leaving water in the bottom of the tent. In addition, the temperatures are also out of control. I added an AC last week to keep the temperature below 80. I finally determined the exhaust vent is also broken and has been for some time. I have been giving good reviews on the AC infinity system. However, during the time I’ve owned this tent (2 yrs), I had to replace the lights twice, fans, humidifier and now the vent twice also. Everything but the tent containment has been replaced. AC infinity does stand by their products, but they are in California, and it takes at least 2 weeks to receive the replacement. This is extremely frustrating at the critical transition to flower for my equipment to fail again. For the time being until a replacement arrives, I pulled the 4” exhaust vent from my 3x3 and hooked it up. I have the AC pushing air in and the exhaust pulling air out. This should create a neutral pressure tent environment-neither positive nor negative. I do have 3 circulating fans in the tent to move air around the plants. It looks like growth spurts have slowed and plant height has been reached. Now is the time for buds to fatten and frost up. All of them (6) are short remaining less than 3 ft. They range from 15 to 31 inches. The tallest #4 &5 and #6 have very light leaves and appear nutrient deficient compared to the shorter phenotypes. Pictures taken later in the week show fading on a few the older leaves. All are receiving the same solution and are in the same soil blend. Moving the gals in and out of the tent for their glamor shots, I bent one limb and snapped another. The bent one I taped with a splint and the snapped one I medicated manuka honey and wired it back to the main stalk. Leaves look like sativa leaning. I hope FBA2502-2 is a good daytime. I’m getting excited to see what develops in the next month or so. News Break: I’ve been informed that 2502 is FastBuds New Frostbanger and is indica for nighttime. I’m disappointed that I didn’t get a sativa to test because I really need a daytime strain. The 2 Blue Cheese plants I just grew are also nighttime. Upon opening the tent, a faint odor was detected, and some stickiness was observed during the process of defoliation. Pictures of the puffy buds even show differences. #4 &5 buds hairs are different from the others being crinklier and the others are straighter. Some like #2 &5 are showing frost on the leaves. Wow at the beginning of flower to have that much frost. They are living up to the new strain’s name. I’ve noticed that when I water, sometimes water shoots out of the side holes I the air pots. Did some more defoliation but keeping her going as she's wrapping up the stretch. Really starting to flower now, which took way longer than I expected. She's a late bloomer for sure, not the best for growing outdoors, this was a test seed though so I just kept her going. Amsterdam Genetics doesn't recommend this one for growing outdoors btw.

Bud sites are getting ready now. I did a bit more LST and removed a few side shoots which never gonna make it due to lack of light. I replaced the light, under the TS 1000 she was praying all day long. On the previous run I had problems with the FC3000, it was turning itself off at random times. Mars Hydro was kindly sent me a replacement controller, so far it seems like this problem has been solved. However, I tried to use the app again and it’s still shite. 💩😂 So I just use the light in manual mode. Such a shame for the extra features I cannot use. For DLI I will use the following chart: AUTO FLOWER LED LIGHT INTENSITY Recommended LED PPF/PAR Values / DLI Based on 20 hrs. of light. Seedlings 150 - 200 umol / DLI 10.80 - 14.4 moles per day Veg up to 9" 450 umol / DLI 32.40 moles per day Early bloom 500 umol / DLI 36.00 moles per day Mid bloom 650 umol / DLI 46.80 moles per day Late bloom 750 umol / DLI 54.00 moles per day Ripen 400 umol / DLI 28.80 moles per day *** Use extreme caution going 700 umol or higher @ 20 hrs/day this could cause leaf burn*** The only difference is that I will keep this run in 18/6, so I ignore the PAR values above. IMO the best thing you can do is to read the leaves all the time and use the charts as a guidance.

Week 9 Day 60 Hmm really dissapointed in my self this time. Blue Dream looking great ,Cinderella Jack and Purple Punch too. But then comes Trainwreck and Lemon Kix with Orange Sherbet. Buds didnt Fat up till now and they already starting to get those brown pistils. Lemon kix is Full with trichomes but looking like she gonna foxtail. I backed up the light a bit . Orange Sherbet looking better after just pH water and some Batguano - i love this stuff. Smell is also amazing, fruity with cream hints like my last one. Trainwreck looking overall good but also the buds didnt fatten up like it should be. I can just wait now 😑 Day 63 Orange Sherbet gonna be the First one to harvest Batguano did her really good.

Well week 5....this will be her first week in flower. She has been topped (about a week ago) and I will soon start some LST. I don't get to carried away with training. I know some people do a lot...A lot more than I thought was possible. I just do enough to try and keep all the big colas at about the same height. I started to top my plants about 1 year after I started to grow. I liked it right away. Everything gets a bit more light some parts get a lot more light. If you mix in some light LST you get a much cleaner/organized looking plant....if that makes sense.

The indoor plants are developing a mobile nutrient deficiency(newer growth is pulling from older leaves)in the lower leaves. Nutrients are being locked out(too much of one nutrient is locking out the others in the soil, or temperatures are too cold in the soil) or they are being tied up in solution whenever I mix the lotus nutrients(I’m adding bloom and boost into the same gallon, so maybe the chemicals are reacting with each other and becoming unavailable to the plant). On top of my nutrient dilemma, fungus gnats have found their way to my moist soil and are being a nuisance. From what I found they’re surviving off of my woody material in the soil and will soon try to establish it as a home so I’ve got to go get some IPM. Outdoors is vibing with the pest pressure so I’ll continue to let it do it’s thing.

Quite a week!! I did a light defoliation on day 30... I just did a heavy defoliation again on day 36.... I hope they handle this well!! I watered them on day 31 & 33... I I fed them a half dose of all 3 nutrients on day 35... They are starting to stink!! The Cloudline T6 works great!! I also LST'ed them on day 30... they seem to be opening up pretty good... even though I was really late applying the LST.... still learning!! Alana is 16" tall and Anna is 20" tall... Alana grew 6" this week!!! Incredible! I've been battling some humidity lately... it's been in the low 60's for the most part... that's part of the reason I so heavily defoliated today! Otherwise, this grow is going really well!! You'll notice I moved them into the flowering 4X4 tent... I needed to make room in the veg tent.... I germinated 2 Seedsman Strawberry Cheesecake Auto seeds and I'll start their diary tomorrow! Cheers!!
