12/3 Gave all the plants a much needed trim & watered ones that needed it. 12/5 Had to throw away one of the blue cookies because it turned into a male. i think it was because I left the light on for 24 hours accidently. I kept it on the same 12-12 schedule & It didn't seem to phase them much. 12/6 Watered 5 of them

Welcome to my Fast Buds sponsored shootout and living organic soil v coco side by side. I also plan to use this grow to my full advantage regarding a few age old nagging questions about methods. I have had a keen interest in L.O.S ( supersoil) since reading a few threads a while back on how amazing and productive it can be. After too much research and procrastinating I had to give it a go. I have been a decades coco/nft grower and recently threw my hat in the rdwc ring too. I have avoided soil due to the overwatering worry ( heavy handed chimp brain !) and the best potting soil/feeds. Catching up on the advances in indoor soil gardening and organics led me too subcools supersoil recipes to name a few but being a town dweller with farms everywhere around me still drew blanks on a lot of the ingredients needed and where the hell I could even begin to get them from. Thankfully , commercial savvy has now made buying it in ready to use and with a full range of beneficial bacteria ect available in amendments from a grow shop here in the uk. ecothrive have realised the potential for us to dive into this medium with all the mixing , measuring and resourcing. I bit the bullet and £150 later I now have 4 x37Litre pots that will be used for as long as I want to feed the soil for without EVER needing nutrients again potentially. The coco has also had charge mixed in to encourage the bennies to colonize there too. I will be using the shogun nutes that I know do the business with coco to compare with for yield , growth and taste. I have 3 seeds each of 4 Fast Buds Strains to use as a control for the grow and am journaling each strain in their own diaries. This statement will be used to start each one as the information is identical at this point but following this I will do them individually. I am now starting their second week since opening the seed packets , straight into soaked and shook root riot cubes and into the heated propagator. They had all showed their heads by end of day 3 and a couple needed helmet surgery to open up without being hindered . I have has them in the prop for a few days but they needed to get settled as they were popping roots out all over the cubes. They have now been in their final pots for 2 days complete and starting their 3rd today at day 8 since planting in cubes. I am impressed with the speed and success of these girls already (12 of 13 germinated) . Well done fast buds. So here we go folks , any comments , ideas ,questions , advice are always welcome and I hope we can have some fun experimenting with defol v non defol , topping v fimming v bending and any other curiosities along the way. Well, I harvested one of the gxz, which considering the space it had to grow in, gave me around 230g wet, so hopefully looking at 2 z when dry. Really happy with it. Big up Barneys Farm. Leaving the other gxz and the auto for another week. You can see from the photos, the autos aren’t quite ready yet. Looking forward to wrapping a skin around this and lighting it...

This week is going to be hot. I expect everything to hit generative 2/mid flower this week. The #1 & #2 plants should hit that phase day 2 and day 3 of this week. The #3 plant around day 7. The coop poop I top dressed with is still feeding. It should be just supplemental about mid week. I'm feeding my gen 2 formula that's in the nutrient section for this week. The plants will get that feed daily once generative two phase begins.The one I didn't top is over 7' tall. I used it's height for the plants height. The other two I topped are just over 5'.

Blue Dream Auto 1 15th Feb Mon - Placed blue dream auto seed into jar of ph balanced water,and then kept in dark airing cupboard for 24hours. 16 Feb Tue - Set up grow tent today. Placed seed into soil and cut a quarter of a plastic bottle top and placed over planted seed to create moisture dome. If seedling hasn’t popped after 3 days turn light on to give more energy. Will leave now and check up on it in the next 24 hours 17th Feb. 17th Feb Wed - Checked on seedling today. No sprout as of yet,19:35, everything seems fine soil is moist and in the dome is moist. If there is any issues it would be the temp is lower than I’d like. 18th/19th Feb Thur - Fri - Still no sprout on Thursday 18th. Checked soil and it still a bit wet all around, I think I’ve planted the seed a little too deep. Noticed a few gnats. On day 19th Friday, there is still no sprout so to give it a bit of help I have turned the light on today. Noticed quite a few more gnats so I will try to put some white vinegar and fairy liquid in a bowl to place in tent. Will update over the weekend. 20th Feb Sat - Finally!!! The seed has finally sprouted, I won’t water this morning but I will check later tonight. Need to keep soil around plant moist but the outer bits of soil I’ll leave dry due to Gnats. Will leave moisture dome on for a day longer until I see leaves form. Very happy! Also repositioned light so it is directly above plant 21st Feb Sun - She is looking good! A lot of growth from yesterday to day gave some more water this morning as she was looking a bit dry. I’m looking to take the dome off tonight as she has started to come out. I’ve turned lamp off for 4 hours to give some rest. One leaf is curling over a little but I’m not too sure why? Will monitor and keep updated. Any advice appreciated!!

Харвест был тяжелым и занял 3 часа , так как она была огромной . Как итог 1350 г мокрых и протримленых шишек . Все цветы отлично созрели , даже те , которые находились ниже . Я дал ей достаточно времени созреть и она меня очень удивила ✊🏻🔥

Calmag enter this week, the fruit are more big. Next week im gonna enter the PK from Aptus. One of my plants has a magnesium deficiency I think, I hope that with the calmag it will be fine. The smells are already magnificent, the Glookie looks like a packet of candy! The fruits will start to grow nicely by the weekend with the high PK intake

We decided on Pineapple Express (by Grower's Choice) as our summer strain this year, we veg anything going outside under 16hrs ..We only get 15hrs at peak light(Far North/East, Canadian border) and this prevents any pre-flowering and possible revegging downtime. We're going to flower 4 plants indoors ASAP (to ensure we don't run out )and bring 3 out to the field in about 2-2.5 months...

Bonjour a tous les padawans et les maîtres jedis Pour cette semaine 4 je surveille comme à mon habitude hygrométrie et arrosage. Je peaufine mon LST en stressant ma plante le moins possible. Je combine mon LST avec un pincage d'Apex cela me permettra d'avoir une canopé plus homogène donc une meilleure pénétration lumineuse et par conséquent un meilleur rendement. Petit rappel sur le pincage d'Apex: Le pinçage des plantes de cannabis Proche de la taille d’apex sur le principe, cette technique possède cependant plusieurs avantages, le principal étant de conserver le gros bud central de la plante, d’une production et qualité maximale. Pinçage des plantes de cannabis Le pinçage d’apex (tête de la plante) consiste simplement à pincer délicatement la tige du dernier étage de la plante, entre le pouce et l’index, jusqu’à sentir la fibre s’écraser sous les doigts avec un petit bruit critch caractéristique. Si l’espace disponible sur la tige du dernier étage ne permet pas d’y placer confortablement ses doigts, il faudra plutôt pincer l’étage du dessous. Le pinçage ralentira fortement la croissance verticale de la plante, tout en stimulant le développement des branches secondaires, donnant ainsi à la plante une forme de buisson. La plante mettra quelques jours à réparer ce pinçage, formant un nœud à cet endroit, et poursuivra ensuite sa croissance de façon normale. Le pinçage peut alors être répété si nécessaire, sur l’étage suivant nouvellement formé, ainsi que sur les éventuelles branches secondaires qui pourraient dépasser l’apex. Le pinçage est donc une excellente technique pour avoir une belle canopée uniforme de type marée verte. En pinçant régulièrement l’apex des plus grandes plantes de votre espace, durant la croissance et en début de floraison (stretch), vous obtiendrez ainsi facilement des plantes de hauteur homogène en pleine floraison, ce qui facilitera la culture et augmentera la production finale, surtout si vous cultivez simultanément de multiples variétés de marijuana. Avec un peu d’habitude le pinçage pourra être réalisé aussi rapidement qu’efficacement. En cas de pinçage trop violent qui se traduirait par un apex arraché, cela produira simplement les mêmes résultats qu’une taille classique de l’apex, ce qui ne sera donc pas dramatique.
