D80 (13/05/2021): I'm looking at the trichomes every other days. Glue Gelato is starting to show amber on top buds. No amber for Banana Kush and Gelato. This time I will chop them all at the same time so the one I will rely on is the Glue Gelato. As soon as she is ready, I will harvest them all. Banana Kush and Gelato would probably need more, but in term of logistic, I need to harvest all my plants at the same time. D83 (16/05/2021): Not ready yet. I'm checking trichomes closely! 😬 - Light: the lights are at 100% and at 12 inch form the plants. - Temperature: during the day: 24-25C ; during the night: 20C. - Humidity: the humidity is maintain around 46-48% all the time. - Air circulation: There is an oscillating fan on the ground, one fixed fan pointing on top of the canopy and one fixed fan to help cool the lights. - Water: I gave water every other day or when the ground feel dry or the pots feels light. - ***IPM: I never mention it but I'm using nematodes pouch as an integrated pest management. I had trouble with pest in my first grow and I learned from it. That's the only thing I do for pest and of course watching closely and regularly at my plants 😊

10/18, day 74 While only getting a tiny bit taller, the colas are bulking up, trichomes are developing, and the colors are amazing. She's so pretty! We're starting to take more stemmed leaves off in preparation for harvest, and they are ready to come off, with beautiful yellow fading. There are sooooo many reddish-orange hairs, and it seems most of the tops are being taken over by purples now. 10/21, day 77 Violet's leaves are turning brown and beginning to curl now. When looking at her trichomes, it seems there is not as much amber today as there was yesterday somehow. Every time we open the cabinet, it seems she has changed. 10/23 day 79 Violet has been exploding with trichomes the last couple of days, and I'm just like WOW!! Upon doing more research on trichomes and their development, I found an article that explains things so nicely (Link: https://www.greencultured.co/cannabis-trichomes-overview/ ) In this article, I learned about the three different types of trichomes: bulbous, capitate sessile, and capitate stalked. The stalked being the tall pretty ones we like to see, which also contain the most resin. At a certain point, the short sessiles develop into the stalked, increasing from 30% to 80-90%. This is kind of far down the article in the section titled "Latest Cannabis Trichome Research." It also explains that the stalked trichomes contain 16 cells while sessile trichomes only contain 8, so the stalked trichome explosion Violet has been having is doubling her medicinal value. I believe that her increasingly strong smell is a sign that this is good information, so I encourage you to check it out. I do not know them, nor have any arrangements with them, I really did just find the article that helpful. Oh, Violet, our time together is going to be over soon!!

March 17, Day 76: As written I collected the last three plants. At the moment I got a partial of 224 grams from the first three plants and I think of doubling with the last three. Among the latter is the plant with the largest bud which obviously becomes my favorite. This time I managed to take photographs of the plants before cutting them. With these last three plants I got the most productive plant, the one with the largest bud and the one with the longest bud 😉 For a final report on this strain: The Gorilla by RQS is an excellent strain for anyone who loves a high THC content and I particularly recommend it to growers who pass for the first time from photoiperiods to autoflowering. You will grow very large and very productive plants very similar to photoperiodic ones. This strain branches out a lot and must be defoliated and de-branched. You can grow it well with the SCROG technique, but if like me you have no space problems you can also use the Sea Of Green technique. In conclusion I want to thank all the growers who have followed this my first diary to which I have a happy growth! First I have to say that I am very satisfied with the total harvest, from the last three plants I got 369 grams which added to the 224 of the previous harvest make a total of 593 grams. I started this diary with 8 Gorillas and 2 Cheese. 6 Gorillas completed their cycle in the same time frame, the 2 remaining gorillas showed a photoperiodic genetic predominance, one of them is in an advanced flowering phase while the last one after three months still shows only a few pistils. I'll probably kill her, and move on by putting new seeds in the soil. Unfortunately, where I live is illegal to grow marijuana, otherwise I would have simply moved outdoors, but I can't and must be ruthless. Regarding the two cheeses there is not much left at the end of their cycle and I started to give only water to one of the two plants. Good and happy growth to all! 😜

I added a small video of the garden and will update this week further near day 35. 9/20 // The ladies rebounded nicely from the 9/11 overfeeding. Fed and watered them today. Willow at 1/4 nutes and Buffy at 1/8 nutes. 9/22 // Feeling good at the end of week 5. The ladies have responded well to the light feeding on 9/20, and I have started adding Big Bud to the mix.

The smaller Potter or extra Gorilla Glue from AMS is doing okay. Still battling a magnesium deficiency I have not stop. This time was from ph dropping. I was unable to care for them for a few days right. They got too dry, and salts cause ph to fall. I tend to feed heavy, but stay well irrigated. She is still growing decent with the Spider Farmer G3000 light. She should be back on track now again. Plus she is now in a bigger Potter. Still small, but bigger. Hopefully she can keep up some with the other Gorilla Glue in there in size enough to not get beat out in light. Thinking ahead for flowering. Everything looks good to go now. This week I started using Power Si Bloom because I had it for my indoor garden so why not... nothing new here but I did start feeding 2 gal water per plant every other day. Still using recharge and kelp

Day 15-05/11/21 it’s the Start of week 2 of veg everything is looking good hopefully my Mars hydros are here in next few days!!! Day 16-06/11/21 today plants are looking really good I gave them there first bit of biobizz grow!! Day 17-07/11/21 nothing new today no need for watering probably water tomorrow!!! Day 18-08/11/21 didn’t give them anymore water today but defenitly will be watering tomorrow!!!! Day 19-09/11/21 i gave them all i nice 750ml of water today with biobizz grow all looking good!!! Week3 this third week was not easy. I went crazy from the pruning I did the week before. I chose to do it at the beginning of flowering so that the main bunches and branches were more exposed to light. and of course maybe I've been stressing the little one but now entering the 4th week she seems to be recovering. maybe I'm just tripping but it seems to have slowed down a bit. what scares me is how slow the buds take to grow and get fat. Warning!! I can't forget that the strain is fast flowering !! let's see how it goes...
