Moving right along - the buds are starting to really fatten up and look hella juicy.... Was having a hard time keeping there humidity low - so I sprung for a small dehumidifier. Seems to be doing the trick. Very excited to go into there last month of flower!

Doing good week 4

8/12 - Dropped 3 seeds into RO water to germinate 8/13 - Placed seeds into moist paper towel and into plastic bag to germinate on heat mat. 8/15 - All three seeds sprouted. In the morning I prepared three 3-gallon pots with Roots Organics Original Soil and Nature's Living Soil Autoflower mix. I will be doing Super Soil method for this grow. I filled the bottom one third of the pot with regular soil, then added 1 lb of Nature's Living soil and mixed it in. Then filled the rest of the pot with the regular soil. I topped it with Mosquito Bits for added BTI for pest prevention. Finally, I wet the pots down with RO water and Organic Black Strap Molasses. After about 8 hours, I planted the three seeds and placed them in the 4x5 tent with a humidity dome to keep in moisture. 8/16 - Two of the three already have their true leaves. So, I have removed the humidity domes from those two. 8/17 - The last of the GSCs have sprouted her true leaves so I have removed her dome. I sprayed them lightly again today with RO water and molasses.

Looking good so far going into our second week of flower. Lots of new hairs and flower sites that are super close together so the inner node spacing is minimal at best. Should stack up quite nicely in the weeks to come. Stay tuned!

Week 4 of flower and the plants a doing well after week 3's leaf strip.

Such Bittersweet Joy Added this week as ‘Flowering’ although technically should be harvested as I but I haven’t had a chance to weigh or anything. I will do that next week once trimmed etc. So finally cut them down on D89, it was a beautiful day outside and it just felt right. Although when it came to the deed itself I felt sadder than I thought I would for my girls and the time we had together. All 6 (I’m growing another 3 different strains but not included on this diary) are now hanging to dry in the tent. Temp -18 C; Humidity-60% seems to be holding steady with no tinkering thankfully. After the 3 days they have all dried noticeably, perhaps 4/5 more before trimming / curing. I’ve had quite a close look at most of the harvest and as far as this noob can tell, there doesn’t seem to be any issues with mould / bud rot. Fingers remain crossed. I did have one very profound moment this week... It happened as I was surveying the harvest hanging up for the first time. I could feel my mindset change suddenly from the constant paranoia over their health and overcoming my impatience to “I actually have a crap load of weed”. It was beautiful beautiful moment... Barneys Farm Cookies Kush 4 weeks Flowering completed 8th March 2020 Welcome to the Cookies kush show 😂 They are quite the lookers tho Both have thier own unique characteristics with pheno 1 being a bushy bitch and pheno 2 more of a stretched appearence with those classic thin sativa leaves . I'm so looking forward to a taste off these plants when they are ready. I'm feeding them lots of water and supplemental teas as they have been quite thirsty doing all that growing would do that I guess. On the grow itself, I just got twice as much yield with 1/3 fewer plants by switching to coco and CocoTek, I would count that a win. Zero stress so I was right, grow them without stress and you will be rewarded. Just the easiest best smelling little plant to grow. Always germs well and produces long as you treat her right. It starts to be pretty and frosty One is beautiful, 2 are nice and one looks tired :(

It is getting real bushy in there and i have some thirsty plants. Tent is getting pretty packed and the stretch is on. I might have to water almost everyday, I suspect them to be on the edge of rootbound. Should have went with 14 liter pots or might even 18. Smell is amazing and they are starting to get sticky when i pick fan leaves. Defoliation is coming at the end of next week tho. But it is really bushy i have been picking tons of leaves so far. Tempted to strip them sooner than 21 days into flower but we will see.

Leaves started to go a little light green this last week so changed the water and added some Nitrozyme aswell as a slight mist direct to the leaves. Also had to lower the PH to 5.8 as it had crept up quite substantially at around 8.5. Other than that...Nice, healthy, bushy plants. Still a clear difference in size between the hydro and the Allmix. The netting needs changing as just can't get it taught so any recommendations appreciated. Itching to see the end result! Update 28th Feb: I think im getting a little nutrient burn on some of the leaves. Nutes have been added as per supplier directions Either that or it could be due to me spraying a little diluted Nitrozyme mix directly on the leaves a couple of days ago while the veg lights were running.

Another week gone by already, I’m a little late getting this up this week as I was busy harvesting my other tent. Turned my air conditioner off this week because I’m pretty sure it is blowing on my one plant too much and causing some issues. Also don’t need it anymore since summer is over and temps are stable again without it. I also was forced to turn my light down again to 600w as my buds were showing signs of too much light, they have been in 600w now for a couple days and they are starting to show normal bud development again. We are into the 6th week now and gonna push them 9 prob I’m thinking, still lots of time for these girls to fatten up. That’s it till next week, Cheers💨

3/10/2019. Start of week 8 and the Tangerine Dream is fattening up it’s buds and kicking out more frost every day. Even though the NYC Diesel is exactly the same age as the Tangerine Dream it looks about a week behind in flower but it’s also a far bigger plant and will definitely take longer to flower out. Final defoliation was done to both girls. I willl update through the week as always . Happy growing everyone ✌️!!! 3/15/2019.. The tangerine dream is really beefing up her buds this week. The room smells like sweet orange candy mixed with skunk fuel from the nyc diesel. For sure this tangerine dream is gonna be a very frosty pheno. The nyc diesel is finally starting to really grow out it’s bud sights so really not much to report on her. Overall everything is looks perfect with both girls. 👍
