June 17: The garden area had just under 3 inches (75mm) of rain in the past week which was really needed. Temps have been mid teens to low 20s deg C. The wind has been relentless and the plants continue to take a beating. Overall pleased with the growth but some concern, because preflowers are showing, they may be stunted and flowering early (due to environmental stress).

11/15 - Day 43 - I've changed the light schedule on the timer from 20/4 to 18/6. I will be heading out of town for 10 days on December 25th and so I'll need to harvest and hang to dry by the 24th at the latest. I've read in a few forums that decreasing the lights on/lights off ratio can speed flower maturation on auto-flowers. The other growers also mentioned that the decrease in light also reduces yields, but on such a tight timeline I'd trade total yield for more fully ripened buds any day of the week. Would certainly be interested if anybody has experience/knowledge that contradicts what I've read. Plants stretched another 2 inches in the last 24 hours putting them 22 inches from the light. I still have room to raise my light another 2 inches, but if these girls stretch more than 6 more inches they'll be < 18 inches from the light which I'm assuming would cause light burn based on the research i've done on this 600W ViparSpectra reflector series. Here's hoping they don't stretch more than 6 inches from here. 11/17 Day 45 - Haircut day. Left a few fan leaves on the shorter/lower shoots, but took almost everything else. Tallest tops had stretched another 4 inches in the past 48 hours, and were 18 inches from the light. I raised the light the final 2 inches I had available, which places it back to 20 inches from the tallest bud sites. Hopefully the haircut I gave the plants slows down the stretch, but either way it looks like I'll have to do a lot of retraining before I head out of town tomorrow for 5 days. 11/18 Day 46 - Fed nutes. Cal mag + advanced nutrients (micro, grow, bloom), and MKP. 4 Litres of water per plant. A lot of runoff in the saucers, but I'm out of town for the next 5 days so I'm leaving it to be absorbed throughout the week.

Days 42 through 49 of flower and all three Phenos are expressing themselves differently. Pheno #1 continues to express darkened fan leaves almost purple and much more frosty than her sisters. Pheno #2 is the other end of the spectrum remaining green, but less frost. Pheno #3 seems to be a mix of the other two and its fan leaves are turning colors of autumn. Those are my visual observations as we head into week 8 of flower with harvest just around the corner. No nutrients or grow techniques used during week 7 flower. Other than a watering to saturation on day 42, I really haven't done anything other than observing and maintaining health of plant. For me, that involves tracking VPD to ensure optimal plant performance. Able to track VPD with recent upgrade to the AC Infinity Cloudline Pro fan system. Day 20 - she got 16oz of water pH balanced to 6.0~ on Day 16, Day 18, and Day 20. I topped the plant and then defoliated to leave the 3rd and 4th nodes. The 3rd node is being trained to grow laterally until it reaches the container walls. Once the 4th node matures more, it will also be trained just as node 3. The goal is to train and top one more time in veg to ensure maximum yields in this small 2x2x4 tent.

The gelato is obviusly a strain that develop large fat colas instead of long colas, she's very resinous. The smell Is pumping out and Is like a breeze that refresh my lungs every time i open the box. She doesnt need too much water. 3 weeks to go.

Hi, I started germination of 3 Quick One seeds on Wednesday December 5 at 9 pm. Grounding on December 08 at 4 p.m. in 18l pots and soil at Biobizz Light mix.

She stretched 14 inches in the week.

The plant grows extremely quickly and is constantly tied down with plant clips to create the largest possible scrog area. The Ac infinity cloudforge t3 humidifier was installed.
