Week 9: Late Flowering and Ripening Signs of Maturity As we enter week 9, the plants are well into the late flowering stage, with the buds ripening beautifully. The trichomes are becoming more prominent, and there's a noticeable increase in resin production. The aromas are intensifying, making the garden a fragrant delight. The plants are showing clear signs of maturity, indicating that harvest time is approaching. Nutrient and Watering Adjustments To accelerate the ripening process and boost bud production, I'm using FinalPart by Terra Aquatica for Banana Purple Punch and Blue Dream. As from T.A recommended I use it alone with no other nutrients combined. I use it at full dosage but I hope I don't burn them in the end. No risk no fun. However, for Tangie and Gorilla Cookies, I have not changed the nutrient composition, as these plants will likely need another three /four weeks to fully mature. The watering schedule remains consistent, ensuring the plants are hydrated but not overwatered, which is crucial during this delicate phase. Pest Management and Plant Health To combat thrips, I've placed yellow and blue sticky traps around the plants. Fortunately, there have been no further signs of aphid infestation. The plants appear healthy and vigorous, showing no additional pest issues. Individual Plant Observations Blue Dream: Some pistils are starting to change color, and the main bud is becoming denser. The fan leaves are also transitioning from green to yellow, indicating that the plant is drawing nutrients from them. The trichomes are becoming more cloudy. Banana Purple Punch: The plant is experiencing slower growth, with minimal bud expansion. The pistils are changing color, and the buds are developing a beautiful purple hue. The fan leaves are turning yellow as the plant draws nitrogen from them. I’m hoping FinalPart will stimulate a final boost in bud production. Gorilla Cookies: Bud development is also progressing slowly. However, all the large leaves are still green, so I’ll hold off on FinalPart until at least next week. My goal here is to maximize yield. The resin production and aroma are intensifying daily. Tangie: Still in a growth phase, Tangie is a real eye-catcher. While the bud production is underway, the plant may need at least three, possibly even four more weeks to reach full maturity. The resin production and aroma are not yet as advanced as with the other plants, but Tangie looks very vibrant and healthy. Seeking Final Tips and Harvest Advice As we approach the final stages, any tips or advice on maximizing flavor, potency, or overall plant health would be greatly appreciated. I'm looking forward to gear up for the most exciting part of the grow cycle—harvest! Update 27.07: Today, I decided to switch my Gorilla Cookies plant to FinalPart as well. This should give her a boost in trichome production and aroma, and hopefully enhance the flavor too. Tangie is the only plant still on regular bloom nutrients, as she clearly needs another three, maybe even four weeks to fully ripen. Judging by her current growth, she seems poised to yield the most by far.

my tap water is 330 ppm .......and I always hurt my plants with it :( I definitely won't do it again with other girls, it cost me too much nerves :) the girl looks bad, but she will definitely finish her growth :)

Hi growmies, The plants are in full flower now and have been defoliated after the hst of last week and seems like she has recovered. I had removed the filter and vent from the box and have the vent suck the air out of the box into the carbon filter, which gave me another 10 cm to play with. The plant consumes around 2 l of nutrient solution in 24 hours. This whole experience is howling me that I have to change the system in the box as I loose to much height with the grow table and the rockwool blocks. Will probably run a 20 l DWC in it, that I am currently working on.

At about mid-week the canopy was becoming very full so I defoliated to let light hit all of the bud sites. I found an article that mentioned "Schwazzing" and it seems close to how the approach this grow has gone. They got heavy defoliation just before flower and then also a few weeks in. The broken stem has healed dramatically even though I didn't reconnect it but let it stay split. I put rooting gel in the wound and then duck taped it. Now it looks like its going to seal itself back up within a few more weeks. The light is intense, 70-75K LUX on the top of the canopy. I have a little room left to raise the top light before I have to start dimming it. Hopefully I can manage to keep them at max 75K LUX without dimming, or may try supercropping depending on how the stretching goes. This week all the side lights are on along with the main light. They all seem to be loving the light and the heat has been manageable. They are drinking about a half gallon of water a day and TDS started at 1100 and ended at 800 by the end of the week. * Pineapple Express 1 is the furthest along and I can already tell the smell is going to be amazing, very fruity. * Pineapple Express 2 is very lush but flowering a notch slower. * Pineapple Skunk has a concentrated number of buds sites compared to the others, I'm very excited for this one. left only the top four main cola leaves on each plant. lights down to 12/12 stretch has been induced. The plants have been mainlined continously.

In the first week of flowering, only two had pistils, one at first is male and the other plants cannot be sure yet I'll wait for sure to see if there is any male for me to remove from the grow

11/16: I had to move a bunch of seedlings into the closet and decided to just go ahead and run the lights at 24/0 for these last several days. I've got the lights to within 8 inches on all of the flowering plants and as little as 6 inches on a couple of them😈. It's been cold out, so I've been able to keep my temps nice and low. I also have a 6500k floodlight on in there to "winterize" the environment a little more. 11/18: (bugles sounds) Introducing....The Frost Queen and Princess! I harvested the last two Orange Sherbets today...Wow, just wow!😍 11/20: Today I harvested the last two Wedding Cheesecakes and all three Gorilla Cookies. Kind pressed for time, so I just did a cursory trim before taking some photos and washing them. The Gorilla Cookies are every bit as dense as the Wedding Cheesecakes. The gigantic WC has a few seeds here and there, so if I don't spot any spent nanners on her, I'm gonna assume the pollination was done by the short/bent Strawberry Pie that I deliberately left a few male flowers I spotted on. That would make for some kind of special auto hybrid right there.. Well. that's a wrap on this crop. I'll do harvest reports on each strain as soon as they've cured a little bit, but I can tell you already that I'm gonna love most of them. Aromas are incredible!

Aug 17: gotta love big fast plants. This is a nice big plant and the buds are forming very quickly. Added a scrog net layer because I realized the buds are getting heavy already and will likely want more support. These loosely placed Scrog nets are working great and they make it easy to expose buds while tucking fan leaves out of the way. Honestly, I can hardly believe how fast these buds are maturing. Very impressed. Aug 18: another cool and slightly rainy day but at least it’s not so smoky. This new normal of ‘which town is gonna get burned this year?’ Is not fun at all. This year is was a third of the town of Jasper which is inside a national park. Aug 21: this plant is awesome with really big buds forming quite quickly. Upon the return of power, the DH48-S relay timer, which controls irrigation, failed again. This has happened for the third time in the last 4 months. Unfortunately, I couldn’t react immediately, so the ladies were without water again for a few hours. I’ve ordered a TrolMaster program device and additional sensors AMP-3 for pH, EC and humidity, and temperature control. No more messing around! Water consumption is gradually decreasing, and electrical conductivity of the water is slowly rising. I’m starting to reduce the strength of the nutrient solution. Each subsequent tank refill will be at approximately 1.0EC. The outdoor temperature is still cooler; let’s hope it stays that way for another week or two! 🌱❄️ Mixed a 15-liter solution with 25+25ml AN Connoisseur AB . The liquid temperature is 18.8°C. One Tropicana Cookies and one Wedding Cheesecake will finish during the next week, so I’ll slowly start preparing them for harvest. Purple Lemonade and one Wedding Cheesecake will continue flowering into the ninth week, but they’ll be the largest ladies in this batch. All the ladies look and smell fantastic, and the buds are already firm to the touch, especially the Wedding Cheesecake. Starting tomorrow, I’ll gradually reduce the nutrient strength and light intensity. I’ll make an effort to keep the temperature around 23-24°C. I like how the plant got a perfect leaf/bud ratio good airflow not too much defoliation needed and flowers pretty quick 10/10

To tell the truth, I am very surprised myself, how amazing she is FastBuds Gorilla cookies, she copes well with a small space:) she drinks 1 liter every day :) everything looks better than expected:) good luck to everyone.

I’ll update more info after a nice cure! Update: So in conclusion. Super easy Grow. She didn’t give me any problems. Only problems were the heater torching some buds. I put her in a 7 gallon smart pot just to see what an Autoflower would do. Well she paid off and then some! Ended up with 144 grams of some primo FastBuds!00

Week 15 Coming back from holidays: left the plants 13 days in self sufficiently. -grow spot: greenhouse -Automatic Watering Blumat with 5L supply of water / plant -ventilation: 6 AM to 22 PM = 15 min/h - 22 PM to 6 AM = 15min/2h -companion plants: dill, basil + in front of the greenhouse: lavender, sunflower -insect traps ; artificial (paper glue) and natural : numbers of spiders around -1 manual watering day 7 Really good surprise: all plants look healthy and particularly the Sleepy Joe, growing 40cm higher in 13 days + a good side stretching. No pest or predators around (I will have a meticulous check soon), no signs of dehydration just some dead leaves on the floor causing by heat or the minimum water quantity, proving by the root system around the ‘carrot clay’ (Blumat) cf photo.
