Gave them water on Wednesday at 6.4ph distilled water. Began having issues with ac in my house. Temps got up to 81° and humidity rose to 60%. Been sitting around 75° and 50% humidity. On sunday they were ready for water again. My wife changed out the fish tank water on saturday, so i used 20% ratio of old tank water to distilled water and adjusted ph to 6.1. They are starting to take off and develop nodes quickly, now.

Week 4 Update: Plant Growth: Noticed some plants lagging behind by 5-9 days, so I've been focusing on giving extra care to these ones. Implemented Low Stress Training (LST) on the stronger plants, particularly the Gorilla Glue and Gelato varieties, to encourage more even growth. Weather has been a mixed bag – occasional bursts of sunlight, but mostly rainy days. To compensate, I've set up a makeshift box with LED lights to ensure the plants get consistent light exposure. Nutrient Management: Adjusted feeding schedule to once every 2-3 days to provide a balanced mix of nutrients. Using a combination of guano, worm tea, and Grow NPK Autogrow mix to feed the plants, which seems to be working well so far. Considering adding Cal-Mag to the mix to ensure the plants are getting all the nutrients they need for healthy growth. Observations: Despite my efforts, I can't shake the feeling that some of the plants might be experiencing slower growth than expected. It's a bit frustrating, but I'm staying patient and hopeful that they'll catch up soon. Looking Ahead: As I prepare for the next batch of seeds, I'm already thinking about the lessons I've learned from this experience and how I can apply them to future grows. Despite the challenges, I'm feeling optimistic about the future and looking forward to seeing how these plants continue to develop in the coming weeks.

The plants LOOK good, but I made a big mistake when LSTing the plants, and some leaves got cuts, and 1 branch on both of the plants snapped off entirely :( I stopped LST entirely for the time being. Am considering getting another 1000w (132w actual) led identical to my current one. Growing in a 2x2 shower so I'm still 70 actual watts under what I should have based on the 50x area rule. Thoughts? They seem to be bouncing back well, though I'm definitely keeping a close eye on them. I started adding nutes last week (1/3 of recommended quantity) and everything seems to be looking good -- I noticed that growth significantly expanded, and there doesn't appear to be any negative side effects. I upped it to half the recommended dose today. Fingers crossed! It looks to me like plant #2 might be starting to flower, and maybe even plant #1 as well. Can anyone see what I'm talking about and let me know? Much obliged!

Excellent week again for this young lady. She has grown heavily, and her 5th node is up and spreading its leaves. What this means is, yup. She got topped. Roots are looking good, and this also gives me a change to do a bit of pruning. Also allowed me to top of the clay pebbles, as I definitely started her a little low in the netted pot.

This week has been wild. I had to cut the sides of the greenhouse as the plants had it bursting at the seams. These girls are all flowering beautifully and starting to frost up. Happy Growing.

Week 3(Bloom): She has packed on a lot of pistils this week. Overall she’s looking really good. I think I’m under watering her. Last night and tonight when the light came on she looked pretty droopy. I’ve given her some more water today. Tomorrow when the light comes on I’ll give her a look and see. I did lift the plant to see if it was heavy or light, she was very light. Hopefully she snaps out of it. I’m very happy with this girl. This week the growth wasn’t as rapid, this could be because of not enough water, not sure though. This week I saw major development In side branches to which I am pleased. She seem to be a longer vegetative chick. The humidity is crazy in the Caribbean this time of the year.

I am starting a Strawberry Amnesia from herbies seeds. I have scuffed the seed ends, and placed it in water. I will place the seed in the rockwool once it is showing a tail. Alright grow cycle, mistakes, improvements, etc... She did stay in veg for too long, her growth was slow and not the best and so she took quite long, next time i'll be there from the beginning so I can take care of her throughout. But her growth is really fun. It is a tall growing sativa with fairly tight noding when trained accordingly, producing long filled colas. The buds grow fairly dense and fluffly but do air out a little when dried. Trichome production was pretty impressive as well as terpene production. She had thrips since her early days but did not seem to mind them at all. I did spray them initially but once flower started I stopped. I believe predatory mites might have been feeding on the pupae in the soil, if that is what this specific species of thrips did, the reason I say that is I could never see adults only larvae. Whatever the case maybe they were there but the population never really increased. Something I did not mention during the grow is that those plants were played music during the days, music that is apparently developed for plants. The 10L pot was WAY too small for a true sustainable living organic and to provide enough space for the plant, that was a mistake, I'd say a 20L would be the bare minimum and still. The bigger the better. The hempy transfer did not hurt the plant and I believe even helped to some extent, BUT, I am still running test on the subject and so can't confirm anything, here are my observations Roots did not colonize the perlite, a little on top and the sides but that was it, I was expecting to see a big root mass in there. I believe hempy are great for salt fert as it hold a soup of nutes where the plant can feed from since the coco only holds very little Whereas in nature most nutrient are in the top soil where the highest amount of decomposition happens, this is where the highest microbial activity happens and so where the plant will find food. Living organic is trying to reproduce nature and so there is no need for the plant's roots to gather at the bottom of the pot. Although it could have potentially provided the plant access to a larger amount of water and possibly more oxygenation of the pot. Those are all theories, please speak up if you have other proofs. In conclusion , unless i get proven otherwise by someone or my latest running experiment , I will not be using hempies again as I believe it brings more complication and issues than a simple fabric pot. The lights, The 600w at the start was good, then I decided to add a 400w...😂 That was completely overkill and not necessary. Waste of electricity. And they started suffering from too much light it seems at some point, I raised the light by a good 30 cm and they were fine. 600 is more than enough. I am happy about how the soil performed but it has room for improvements. As for the watering technique I have been watering large ammount every few days, next time I will be giving constant small amount of water each day and a soak every week or so, I believe the soil might perform better under those conditions. She was also an easy plant to harvest whit her long colas which had very little foliage, I do trim in excess as I like my buds extra clean but the buds are not excessively bushy. The trims were use to make some bubble hash, around 100g of wet trims yielded around 1.5-2g of bubble hash. I did add a negative effect but only because it wouldn't give me a smile otherwise, but to be honnest it barely dries your mouth. The soil is going to be recycled and reused in a next grow. I can't think of anything else at the moment but if you have any question don't hesitate.

04/22/25. Start of week 8 flower. Uh.. apparently I took way too many pictures lol. Oops. Couldn’t help it.. she’s photogenic I guess. Anyway, getting some new pretty colors now and her pistils are darkening up a lot more now. Also getting some foxtailing on the two tallest buds. Probably getting light blasted a bit much, but they’re quite a bit taller than the rest.. and I don’t want them lacking, so it is what it is. I gave her food a couple days ago, but I’ll be looking at her trichs to see where she’s at. I’m guessing she still has a bit to go, but guessing isn’t gonna do it- pistils have lied to me before. I’ve seen a bit of white in them before and had amber trichs. My guess is that the next update will not be a harvest. Guess we will see. ✌️
