Photos from Day 1 to day 7 Sprouted 2 days after planted them. More or less I call them "B" and "S" because at some point, I guess in this first week, I may have overwatered a bit, one of them, and I think it made her grow slower during a week or so, before it got up to its growth again. I was only spraying them with water but I was doing it 2-3 times a day and may have done it 4 times once or twice... My first grow, I may have studied many videos and foruns, but somethings are only learnt when tried. And this "try" went juuust a lil sideways. Its ok Lights were at 50% I guess from the moment they felt earth. I found it fascinating how fast they grew in just 12 hours give or take. Check the photos I also used plastic bottles on tip of them in the first 3-5 days. Temperature inside it was from 22-28°C. RH 70-90%.

Grow is coming along nicely. Only providing Calmag and KoolBloom. Colas are getting bigger, but crowding is becoming an issue. pH in root zone has been slowly decreasing. Adjusted nutrient pH a little higher to compensate. Only a few more weeks to go. 😎

Here’s a deep dive into this exciting and educational week: The “Flush” in Full Swing The flush continues as we prepare the ladies for their final days. While we’re a week or so away from harvest, the plants are responding beautifully, showcasing stunning fades that highlight their unique genetics. This fading process is a critical part of the journey, helping the plants naturally finish their cycle while preserving those complex terpene profiles we all love. The Mold Incident: A Teachable Moment This week brought a challenge—a few buds succumbed to bud rot (Botrytis), particularly on the Papaya Zoap and a single bud from the Gorilla Melon. While disheartening, it’s a reminder that mold can occur even in the most well-maintained gardens, especially with dense colas and a full canopy. After a thorough inspection, all affected buds were removed and discarded to prevent the spread. A quick note to all growers: defoliation plays a massive role in airflow and prevention of such issues. This is why mid-flower defoliation is a game-changer, and I’m grateful it kept the rest of the garden healthy! Papaya Zoap’s Unique Quirks The Papaya Zoap continues to be a star of the show with its frosty buds and… albino tips! These tiny white tips are likely from being too close to the lights. While it’s a cosmetic detail that doesn’t affect quality, it’s a fascinating display of how genetics and environment interact. A Frost-Filled Wonderland The room is absolutely glistening with frost. Trichomes are piling up like snow, giving the entire garden a magical wintery appearance. I genuinely believe the ThinkGrow LEDs and TrolMaster spectrum control deserve a shoutout here. My poor girls... the calcium toxitity got worse before it got better. Even after the flush, the problem continued for a few more days so the leaves are worse for wear. I'm so upset about this. Ughh. I've had issues with every grow when it came to flowering. Unsure why. Last time I had pH issues, this time a calcium toxicity that causes a lock out of I believe at least phosphorus. They are on the mend now even though the damage has been done to the leaves. Their buds have already fattened so much more since the actual flush last week. The leaves are just terrible though. At this point I'm just hoping to come out with an ok enough yield so that this whole thing won't have been a waste. I learned a lesson with this grow... the water here for this grow is higher in calcium than the city we lived in with my first 2 grows. Next grow, using calmag VERY sparingly. Hopefully my 4th go will finally be the charm. 😖😕😖😩😫😭😭😭 8/25/22: Well the girls have recovered pretty well. No more lockout or leaves shriveling. The buds are getting fatter and we've got some cloudy trichomes already but they still need another 2 or 3 weeks after being as sick as they were. Both the Granddaddy purps are have some purple coming through... excited about that. I also noticed that the stems on all 3 plants that were super dark red before the flush is now are lightening up. It's pretty amazing how these plants quickly recover. 😍

🌱 Start: 17.07. 🌱 Hello everyone! This is my very first grow and I'm thrilled to share every step with you! 🎉 I'd appreciate any tips you might have to help me achieve the best results! 😊 Equipment: I've geared up with an Indoor Grow Kit from MarsHydro along with some BioBizz supplements to ensure my plants get the best care. 🌿 🌼 Seeds: I opted for Fast Buds seeds after hearing great things about them. They were delivered super fast—just two days! I’m particularly excited to test the Grapefruit strain. 🚀 I've begun soaking the seeds and setting up my space. Eagerly awaiting the transition to the next stage in a day or two! 🌱 📅 Update: 19.07. My Grapefruit seeds sprouted 1-2 cm within just 1.5 days! 🌱 It’s often recommended that autoflowers be planted directly into their final home, so I'm following that advice. I'm working on improving the air circulation in my tent to ensure the best environment for growth. 🌬️ I'm currently using 0.2L cups with big holes over the sprouts to maintain higher humidity during their initial two weeks. 💧 🎉 UPDATE 22.07. - THEY ARE ALIVE 🎉 My Grapefruit sprouted on 20.07., and I'm overjoyed to soon share photos and a video of my little green buddy! 📸🎥 PS: My plant enjoys 2 hours of chill jazz music every day! Since i stop spray neem oil and wood vinegar on plants some pests showing up But i counter them physically I don’t want to spray anything on the buds My balcony is my heaven now I spend all my time with my girls i don’t go for weekends because i have to water them everyday in the 4:30 am! Week 14 (1-5 to 7-5) 1-5 Temperature: 28.2 degrees (lights on) 22 degrees (lights off) Humidity: 62% (highest) 46% (lowest) No pictures. 2-5 Temperature: 29.2 degrees (lights on) 20 degrees (lights off) Humidity: 61% (highest) 48% (lowest) Removed the net, and tied down some branches to the pot with some gardening wire. This way i can easily remove the pots out of the tent to weigh them. I also moved the oscilating fan from underneath the canopy to above the canopy. This is because the leaves gets hotter as i increase the light's power output. The Gorilla Kush #2 and the Chemdog #2 are showing some heat stress. Installed a valve on the autopot from the Kush #2. This is because its weight is higher then the other pots. Before i watered them i weigh the pots. Dry weight: Gorilla Kush #1: 4.4 kg Gorilla Kush #2: 6.0 kg Added 10L to the reservoir. Opened the reservoir for a couple of minutes. 3-5 Temperature: 26.2 degrees (lights on) 19.9 degrees (lights off) Humidity: 61% (highest) 47% (lowest) No pictures. Increased the light's power output to 75% LUX: 16.000 / 20.000 4-5 Temperature: 26.9 degrees (lights on) 21.2 degrees (lights off) Humidity: 59% (highest) 41% (lowest) Opened the reservoir for a couple of minutes. 5-5 Temperature: 27.6 degrees (lights on) 21.2 degrees (lights off) Humidity: 60% (highest) 47% (lowest) No pictures. 6-5 Temperature: 27.6 degrees (lights on) 20.4 degrees (lights off) Humidity: 60% (highest) 42% (lowest) Dry weight: Gorilla Kush #1: 4.4 kg Gorilla Kush #2: 5.4 kg Added 10L to the reservoir, there was still 2850 ml left in the reservoir so now its almost 13L. Opened the reservoir for a couple of minutes. (Only Gorilla Kush #1) I also lowered the Gorilla Kush #2 a little bit, as she is showing some heat stress. The bud development of the #2 is very mediocre, some buds show some THC, and some buds have almost none on them. I am sure the yield will be low, so i will probably make some hash with the #2 7-5 Temperature: 27 degrees (lights on) 19.8 degrees (lights off) Humidity: 57% (highest) 44% (lowest

On 7th day of flowering we removed lower little branches and made some lollipopping on the plants. Also we made some defoliation on gelatos cause they were very bushy but almost removed only biggest fan leaf. As plants were bigger enough we started adding granural mineral NPK 12-18-23 1 g/L and CalMag Xtra by advanced nutrients 1mL/L to the solution.

This week has been cold in the grow room with day time temps at 16c and night time around 12-13c. Growth this week has been quite slow and I wonder what has the biggest impact on growth rate. Is it temperature, light intensity or soil moisture levels? I've had the light at 25% since germination and wonder if it would be beneficial to start increasing the light levels or wait until they're more established before doing this. If anyone happens to read this and has thoughts about how to encourage faster growth, I'd be interested to hear.
