Well its a late update from down under.. and its been shit. No other words for it. After all that un seasonal tropical rain a month back my Caramelo was hating life with water logged roots and was wilting badly for more days than id like, she recovered just fine... or so I thought. Thats when I noticed the Spider mites and a small patch of mould rot on a pre flower bud, so I grabbed my trusty Lime Sulfur bottle and made up what I THOUGHT was my usual 1/2 strength mix to use.....But turns out due to a new smaller bottle and me using the wrong mix to start with (I normally use 1/2 the 30ml per lt mix for seedlings even on fully mature plants to avoid burning em, But I used the 50mls per ltr ratio at what I thought was 1/2 strength) AND my old bottle turns out to be 1.25ltrs and my new one was 750mls!! So long story finalized is I used 1.25 X the normal strength mix and burnt the shit out of ALL new shoots and pre flowers. Thus why im only posting a vid of the cat with the ZkittleZ who is loving life harder than any plant Ive had before -So will be focusing a bit more on her for a while now.

Hi all 🧑‍🌾 Welcome to my 🍌💜👊 week update. Hope everyone keeping well and having a great week😁 Thank you so much for so much support on this bananas ride 🙏💜💚💜💚 Everything still going pretty well. Girls are developing and stretching like crazy. Athena currently Dec 14 90cm and main stem of Xena is not far of this height either. Unfortunately noticed first signs of calcium deficiency(my opinion) on Athena. Thankfully started feeding both girls with calmag weeks back but the dosage wasn't not enough for Athena. Started small treatment very next day on Dec 11 (see description below) I belive got my baby back on right track. Week 9 Dec 11-17 Dec 11 Watering was planned for Tuesday but due to calcium deficiency decided for a little treatment. Watered both girls with mixture of reduced content of growth nutes by 50% calmag at 1.2 ml per ltr. Reduced solution PH to 6.2 as apperently it's ideal for calcium consumption. Over period 4h I have watered Athena with 5ltr with couple runoffs. Xena 3ltr. Total of 7-10 leaves affected mainly at top colas close to the light. Dec 12-13 Purely observation and all looking well. Of course all affected leaves will progres of showing signs but good news is that growth and development booming and don't see any new leaves with symptoms. Very nice trichomes development in recent days and more and more colours. Dec 14 Second watering for this week 6.5l Increased calmag to 1.4ml per ltr and if still things will be looking well reduce to 1 or 1.2 on next feeding. Dec 15 Very nice respond on yesterday feeding. They definitely fatten over night and getting more and more frosty. Will need to remove some foliage soon as getting extremely bushy again. Dec 17 Xenas main stem top cola almost touched the light today. Tied her to left side of the cabinet, applied selective defoliation on both girls, tied few branches to netting and on the end of this busy day a third watering for this week. 7 ltrs beetwen both. Runoffs Xena PH6.4 Athena 6.3. Very nice week have to say. I belive that calcium deficiency on Athena is no longer a case here and both girls developing very nicely. So far, so good. Plants are slowly gaining on height. The first set of leaves is done and signs of the second pair already showing. Got a small issue with tips yellowing. 26.9 - 2.10.2023

Continued LST throughout the week and starting to shape nicely. Girls are starting to explode and are really healthy. Both girls started to show sex at the very end of the week.

Start of another week of flowering being fed every two days. :) been drinking alot these last few days. Stretching fairly nicely along with plenty of bud spots appearing:) 2/23 bud sites are starting to develop now amazing growth these last few days can tell she is doubling her size. 2/28 towards the end of the week tons of buds sites have shown up. Still slowly stretching height wize. Really happy how big she has gotten in these last two weeks amazing :)

Really into the aggressive stretch now going to be doing some defolation this week there looking in good shape for it going to slightly increase the ec to 1.6 a week after defolation as to the defolation I will ease off the ec for this feed to over the stress week three I shall lollypop them all and clean up the girls and won't touch them after that last defolation in the end of week 3 I also foiler fed with the shogun boost

Evening all...back on it AGAIN!!!! Worst is, in the middle of a heat wave (Hottest day every recorded in this part of the world a couple of days in a row!!!)...still need to finish trimming my last crop!!! :'( Will get that done over the next couple of days as these girls need rehoused!!! So, got a cloner at the start of the year...was planning on clone a spare wedding cake I had but that sort of went to pot and life got in the way and that didn't happen. As I also got a hold of an Ultrasonic Mist Generator, I thought I'd give this "Fogponics" Germination thing a go!!! Seeing as @Sweet_Seeds donated a few Magical Beans to my cause, I thought I'd give their genetics a whirl. The Red Hot cookies looked too cool to pass up on!!! So, got the beans popped on the 12th of July and by the Thursday, they were showing their wee heads. One though was also showing its wee tail - I hadn't buried it enough and it popped itself out of the Jiffy Coir plug I started them in. I did get it reburied and it has started growing but you can see its the runt in the pic...intend on keeping this one as a cloner (And will give the cloning a fair whack this time!!!). Since I was worried that the one that popped the soil was going to be impacted, I dropped a 3rd bean and true to form, it was out of the root riot in 4 days also. Got them into the 'fogponics' machine and let them rip (Under 2x11W T5 Sunblaster 6400/k's and a Amazon Special LED light for extra Spectrum) and they seem to be coming on grand. Noticed some yellow spots on the leaves and in 2 minds if it was: A. calcium (As starter plugs are Coir and I didn't put calmag in the plug hydration mix - Jiffy Original plugs are supposed to be buffered for this!!!); B. if I should have broken and washed them out of the Coir and put them into straight Hydroton (The fog could have been saturating the Coir and choking the internal roots a bit) or C. if its just the abusive heat we've been having here (In a country where A/C is basically unheard off as heat doesn't exist outside!!! 😋). Roots are ripping out of the net pots now so they're about as ready for transplant as can be...just wanna give a day or 2 more to see if the heat here settles as I can't adequately cool the area they're going too - but then again, under LED so heat may be good as it doesn't heat the leaf surface up as much! Plus I have a couple of plants to trim...still hanging in their humidor tent when is needed again for growing! Think this will also be the retirement party for the Wilma. Going to build an Undercurrent Fallponics system when this run is done (Wont have time to get it setup before these girls need forever homes!!!). Have the crates bought and a bit of research done on how to DIY a build so hopefully this turns out to be a decent run. Also have a few people with building experience on hand to give advice. Since last grow: Lights have been upgraded to a Geekbeast 630W Pro LED (3500K Spectrum - UV 385nm and Far Red 730nm built in [won't use the 730's as they can't be run independent of the Main Lights...be wary of this if you buy one off Alibaba for the 730's built in!!!] - Will run the 385UV's though throughout the grow for more blue...will run then 3 hours after lights on to until 3hours before lights off). Also procured an InvisibleSun LED 730nm Flower Initiator (Will use this for EOD Far Red treatment to try a 13/11 flower cycle) and a Migro UVB310 fixture - For the Trikes!!! 😝. Have a Haliea 300A winging its way to me as we speak. Have some Non-Stick Micro-tips flying in from the Grand old US of A a will to get a better, more consistent yield. My baby girls is looking much more stronger now that the nematodes are doing their magic and are eliminating little by little those horrible gnats. I'm using straw to cover the medium so I can avoid the direct light for the beneficial bacteria in this case a nematode called steinernema feltiae excellent to get rid of the freaking gnats! I just cannot wait to see this wonderful amnesia pro im full flower!
