Placed pot into tent with no light on. 📅2/10/24 Wednesday 📋 Dropped the seed into 40ml of water with 5ml/L katana roots and 0.1ml/L neutralise at 5.00pm. 5.00pm turned light on @ 100w 80cm above the soil, Ppfd=197, 24hr DLI=17.0 10.00pm placed seed into moist paper towel. 📅3/10/24 Thursday 📋 7.30pm tap root breaking through the side of the shell so put the seed into 12L fabric pot, and placed in the tent under constant light. Can't recall ever having a tap root coming through the side before. 📅4/10/24 Friday 📋 9.00pm looks like movement. 📅5/10/24 Saturday 📋 9.00pm not broke ground properly but cotyledons are visible and looks stuck in part of the shell casing. Day 0 ******************************************** Germination summery. 📋 Didn't take that long for the Lemon cherry gelato to start breaking ground, she seems to be struggling to open up at the moment and is a funny yellow colour. So this week is the start of flower !! Woooohooo finally get to show what I'm made of ! Step one ) take all the big fan leaves Step two ) establish a "light line" and take all small shoots that are unable to get the proper amount of light due to their distance from the top of the canopy. * These are the places we all wish would grow ! These are also the places that are at risk of - hermaphroditism - mold - waste of energy for the plant. ** These are also some of the best places to take clones ** Continue to tie and secure everything in preparation of massize buds ! I hope some people looked at this like " This took way too much off " I took ALOT. Yes I push , I push hard to know how much they can take . Yes I would say 60% of plants DO NOT like a massive defoliating. But, the ones who do , you will unlock a yeild like never seen . It's the risk we take . One thing I have noticed is when I'm gonna defoli , I don't combone high stress or toping + a bunch of other techniques . Should have some pretty huge plants by two months ! Unfortunately I did have covid this week so my pictures weren't exactly where I would want them . For these genetics, it's crazy , they haven't been topped or LST'd and yet they are growing flat at the top ! *** I did have covid this week so my pictures weren't exactly up to par. So I'll do my.best to make it up with notes , - this week very little flower stretch that is definitely a plus for people who want medium sized bushy plants . Not saying that this one won't stretch but so far there has been very little stretching . - there are ALOT of nice shoots throughout the canopy, plenty of places to take clones *** this genetic clones very well so that is another thing to note ! So great clonability . The end of week one I have seen very little stretching , in my opinion these could all be considered S1 . It interesting, even with no topping or training these plants NATURALLY grow FLAT! so for all you Screeners out there this is a primal genetic for that !!! In to week two !!! Week 3 starts Poundcake #1 is on Day 15 as of 25/07 the rest are between day 11 and 14 Poundcake #1 suffering slight light burn from me putting the se3000 power up to 75%. Its back down to 65% now 😅 The two smaller pots on the right are in coco not living soil. Just keeping them indoors for now why not 👌 Added a organic seedless straw mulch for more microbe friendly activity and help prevent the fast drybacks I'm getting with the current heat 😰

Well, not much has changed, so it's kind of like 'same same but different' around here. The plants are still vibing, doing their thing, just with a little more oomph this week.

Batman = CBDurban / black bucket Robin = Afghan / white bucket After watching a tones of videos i finally decided to apply some prunning techniques. Week 5 begins for Mandarin dreams and Divine storm. All four ladies look happy and healthy with minor deficiency signs. All four are bulking up and frosty as my windows (it's -21 °c)! Overall this was a good second grow. The initial defoliation was key in getting the nice density I missed out on last time. These plants went through the bloom cycle using a reservoir (5 gallon bucket) and drip irrigation system exclusively. Once I got the correct timing done for the watering, this setup was really great; I was able to go about 1-2 weeks between water refills, so it was easy leave for a couple of short stints with no negative effects on the plants. The one major thing I'd like to work on for next time is the drying process. I'm not sure if I cut the branches too small, if the room was just too dry, or if I just let them go too long (I had to leave for 9 days, and they were drying the whole time). While the curing has helped them get a little moisture back, the actual drying left the buds pretty crispy.

It was a good, busy week. The clones are down, dry, and now jarred. Total weight from them was 5oz. I didn't think I was going to get more than 2oz because I didn't put much effort into them. However they all turned out pretty solid for growing led and soil 😎 The mothers come down in 9 days and I'm definitely looking forward to seeing how dense those will be! I'm pretty sure a certain someone is going to be donating to some polar bears 😏 because I'm damn sure getting more than 2.5oz per plant 😎 That's about it for now, happy growing everyone ✌️🍀✌️
