Bulking up real fast and gettin caked. Smells strong

Day 73 ~ Plant 1 is looking great and hopefully will be ready to harvest by the end of the week. Been checking the trichomes and while most are getting milky white, there are still a couple sites on the plant where I find clear trichomes. Plant 2 seems to be about a week or two behind the first plant...I will give plant 2 their final Nutes tmrw and then begin to flush. From reading about this strain it seems like it should take around 90 days from seed to harvest. So I would think plant 1 is running a little ahead of schedule and plant 2 is right on time. Day 75 ~ Both plants looking and smelling amazing! I was hoping to be harvesting the first plant by this weekend, but she is still growing and her trichomes are still not all milky and I haven't yet to find an amber one. So it might be another week or so before I can start drying her out.

No rain from April, it rains the day before the harvest........WTF Perfectly ripened, this half of a plant will become among the prettiest buds ever grown. See U in few days for harvest. Spoiler: great smoke!

Flowering looks awesome on the ChemDog! Lots of bud sites and they're growing at a respectable rate. ATF's are running 3 plants in 3 diff stages- one's a couple weeks into flower, one's just starting,and one's still the holdout. Meanwhile, I've got flowering on the Night Nurse and one of the Viper Cookies. The rest are close but I can't say for sure they've transitioned. Weather's getting into a hot and humid phase, gotta watch that ChemDog. Think it's got a decent structure for ventilation but I've read horror stories on how the Dog loves mold. Further training of the branches has been fruitful, I'm seeing a lot more topside bud sites than usual. I'm working on irrigation-- I set up a 30 gal container and it works for drip, but without a pipe system it's still one at a time, although I have to admit it's worth it to save my back. Plus, I have to have a supply ready for use in case my buddy needs to fill in for me and water the ladies. Been checking the cameras regularly ( I have them all throughout the property, game cameras with IR flash), and to date haven't seen anything that would constitute a threat. Just some curious raccoons and one really ugly opossum. Even the skunks don't bother them this year, which is nice but a little strange considering they dig in them every year. It's really just the animals I'm watching for, people aren't as much of a concern. Mostly because I don't know any. Aside from that, I sleep with my head feet away from my babies, so somebody would have to have big brass ones to even try. Yes, I know, a little overprotective. Fingers crossed it'll be one hell of a harvest (by my standards). 8/11 Update: Been lucky still with the weather, but it's turning really humid. Fed the girls this morning, a mix of 1C molasses and 1/2C epsom salt in 20 gallons. Just a little supplement to the tiger bloom they've been feasting on. Speaking of the Tiger Bloom, I can't help but think I'd do just as well mixing my own nutrient solution, since the cost really adds up quick. For his year, however, it'll be fine. My watering gizmo is working well, just leaks a tiny bit and that's fine for the remainder of the year. Now that I have an idea of what works for me I can spend the off-season setting up something right. Had to thin out the Lamb's a bit, it wasn't getting anywhere near enough air flow. Also took a few on the ChemDog as I'm expecting mold/rot conditions for a while and she's prone. Shouldn't have much problem, wind blows almost constantly here, but you can never be too careful. Training is taking well, overall they look pretty good. Next year-- bigger grow bags, better soil, and much pickier seed choices. I think I may even abandon the idea of topping them in the future-- it just slows them down and you can get the same end results with training. Granted, my ladies are kinda sparse and ugly, but that's the learning curve. Next time around I think I have a pretty good idea of what to do and when to do it, based on what worked and didn't work this year. Another big thing is nutrient timing-- I def jumped the gun on flower power for a few of them and it just stunted them wicked-- shoulda continued veg food a couple weeks into flower even for the early bloomer, she'd be a monster.

I changed the light cycle 11/6, directly to 12/12 by prolonging the sleep period. Finally have some tricombs coming in!! Buds are just starting to have a great smell! Looks like the bud sites are actually starting to get bigger, no more growth this week! Fires are mostly cleared up, stilla. Little red in the morning and night Also had to start using general organics Calmag because my store didnt have roots organics

7/20 Went over this morning to plants soaking wet and heavy rain. Went back around 4pm and plants actually look really good. The rain has stopped for a bit and the girls looked great. Apart from some septoria leaves I needed to defoliate on the first plant I treated. I also noticed a few others on other plants so it's spreading albeit slowly. I treated the three in the middle with their second dose of Plant Doctor at 3tsp/1gal. One gallon administered to each plant via root drench. I think I may treat the other plant showing signs with a diy Dr. Zymes using citric acid as the active ingredient. That way I Gould start treatment right away without having to rely fully on plant doctor. Plus it would kill any pests. Ive seen damage but the birds do a number on them. I dont want to spray my plants with a bunch of chemicals if I don't have too. I shouldve replaced the pallets and cleaned the cage better. I think I did a good job sanitizing as I have no wpm. Just this septoria I probably got when the lady mowing the lawn cut all tjis fucking grass and blew it in my pen, throwing bird seed and I'm sure tons of disease into my grow bags. I literally had to harvest a bunch if fucking sunflowers. It looked like my plants had been mulched. Just with small disease carrying shrubs. At some point some of this stuff has to be on purpose. You CAN'T be that stupid. A couple kushes in the back look hungry. I think I may need to up my feed. I've written to much. I'll keep this updated. Thanks if you made it this far. 7/21 I guess it rained last night. Oh well. It was blue skies for hours before dark. It must've rained late/early morning. I'm sure the app of plant doctor will be fine. Like I said I'm considering using citric acid as a foliar spray to help with the septoria and clean up any pests. I don't have enough pests to warrant spraying. I just don't want to put all my eggs in the plant doctor basket. Today is overcast and windy. The wind has really assisted in spreading this virus. I remove anything I see infected immediately and since these plants are reveges they have plenty of leaves. Plants are really stretching. I know I talk about the septoria a lot but realistically if someone looked through my garden they'd have a hard time spotting it. I don't want to exaggerate the problem but I don't like dealing with ANY fungus or molds. 7/22 It was 55° this morning when I went over. I defoliated some septoria leaves and a few that were fading or damaged. I saw almost a whole leaf eaten so it's probably a good idea to move forward with citric acid. I can add that to the plants I've already treated with plant doctor. This is the first year it's been so noticeable. It's the reveg 10th planet that started this off. Oh well. I've dealt with MUCH worse. Plants LOOK good (other than septoria leaves (on bottom of plant). Today is water day for me but it's been raining and it's a lot cooler today. Bags still had weight to them. I want them to have a proper wet dry cycle. Temps top out at 75° so I'll monitor during the day and if something NEEDS WATER I'll give it to it. I'm suprised I have ZERO WPM. The septoria is much more identifiable but pm is usual present in these conditions bur I don't have a spot of it. I may do some defoliation today. I also need to add supports for flowering but one thing at a time. EDIT: Went over around noon. 70°. Bags seem to be holding weight (it was easier to tell as ONE plant was substantially lighter than the rest) so I decided to hold off on watering. At least until tonight. There are three plants (at least that are going to NEED water). They look phenomenal now though and we've had lots of rain. Plan is to go over later and get the light ones and mix the water for the others so I can administer it in the morning quickly. I have an early doctor's appointment but I don't to overwater or water unnecessarily just because. But when you grow alone sometimes you need to do things when your able. I have people there that would help if I asked. And I have before but its late . I'm very grateful. I defoliated quite a few septoria leaves. They were all from the bottom of the plant. A couole wete bottom interior. I know there are worse things to contend with but still a pain. EDIT #2 WENT BACK AT FOUR AND PLANTS LOOKED FANTASTIC AND STILL HELD WEIGHT. THE REVEG MK ULTRA IN EARLY FLOWER "MAY" HAVE STARTED TO DROOP AND "SEEMED" LIGHT. THE LARGE SPECIAL KUSH FUETHEST IN FLOWER BY THE DOOR WAS ALSO EXRRENELY LIGHT. I HAVE AN EARLY DOCTORS APPOINTMENT BUT DONT WANT TO OVER WATER MY PLANTS JUST BECAUSE IM IN A HURRY. ITS COOLER THIS WEEK. 70 TODAY AND HIGH OF 80 TOMORROW BUT DAD SAID THATS NOT UNTIL THE AFTERNOON. I MIXED UP ENOUGH WATER TO WATER EVERYTHING IN THE MORNING IF IT NEEDS IT. I HAVE AN IMPORTANT DOCTORS APPOINTMENT EARLY THAT WILL TAKE ME AWAY AND IM FEELING A LITTLE ILL SO I WANTED TO GET DONE WHAT I COULD TODAY.

Lets gooo new strain’s dropped!

Adding Mephisto Sour Hound to my tent of autos. Really excited about growing some Mephisto Genetics, been hearing amazing things about Mehphisto (I also have a Alien vs Triangle going in a separate diary). This is a free seed I received with my order from Seedsman last fall (BTW Seedsman ROCKS!). This first seed failed to pop so I planted a second and that one popped in 4 days!. My Perpetual Harvest strategy…. Originally my plan was to start 2 seeds each month, but had some seeds from one breeder that did not germinate early in my rotation. Ultimately, this caused single seeds to pop and messed up my 2 at a time plans. But, that seemed to work out OK, because now I think starting one seed every 3 weeks is a better strategy. This should provide me with 4-5 plants at a time, instead of 6. However… Since I need to shut down over the summer because my tent is currently in the attic, I’m starting 2-3 seeds at at time for the last couple of rounds. Plants get fed once weekly on weekends. Seedlings get water only. Plants in vegetation get water and Recharge. Flowering plants get water, Recharge or Big Bloom (Fox Farm). Feeding is done using 2 gallon watering can. Any additional waterings during the week are given on an as needed basis per plant. I lift the plants to help determine which plants are more dry (lighter) and provide water any plants via water bottles and watering spikes. I give each pot a quarter turn every day in an effort to make sure the plants get equal lighting from all sides. I rotate the plant in place by turning the pot 90 degrees (I am not rearranging the layout of the plants in the tent on a daily basis). The soil is an ‘organic super soil’ I mixed myself using organic top soil, organic potting soil, organic compost, organic peat moss, organic perlite, organic vermiculite, lime, epsom salt, expanded clay pellets and Jobe’s organic fast start. I am also recycling my soil and water with Recharge when using recycled soil. For plant training I have tried a variety of things, but my plans now are to do LST bending only, no HST anymore. I may decide to go back to HST again in the future, but I’m curious to compare LST training only to see how that goes. Around week 3 I'll do a FIM pinch once there are 4-5 nodes established. And some defoliation around the 3rd week of flowering. I have been doing HST bending and having good results, but think the HST may be causing the plants to take longer to harvest. I hope FIM/defoliation only will help increase harvests while getting me to harvest sooner. 6/12 Thunderstorms turned to sun Plants are growing substantially. The ones that were damaged from the sun have pulled out of it. I checked the fim I did on a gmo that later burned and it has five tops! I took a couple videos bur I'll have to wait until tomorrow to upload them. Despite the weather severity and inconsistencies I'm in a really good spot. I'll upload the two videos tomorrow when I'm in a better area. Wifi is far to slow. 6/13 Rained yesterday before turning to hot sun. Supposed to be in the 90s today. Due to the rain and storms we've been having I hacebt had to water. Soil is still moist. Plants seem to be growing at a great pace. With all this rain they've gotten a hearty dose of the nutes in my soul mix and then when the sun comes out and they bask for a few hours they look considerable bigger. Another storm coming up but other than that weather is good. Plants are happy and doing well. 6/14 Plants are loving this hot weather. Rainy then it will clear up and be sunny. All plants have recovered from the shock of the weather and are growing like crazy. Ice started some lsting. I haven't even had to water. 6/15 Medium is still damp. I don't think we'll get much rain the next few days but we've gotten a lot lately. I'll continue playing it by ear. The water lasts much longer with the smaller plants in lather containers. Later in the summer I could be watering daily. If there is no rain I'll allow the bags to dry out and I'll water them. I may start them on a small nutrient schedule like the fox farm organic one you use for the entirety. I've hesitated though because my soil is chock full of nutrients and they show no sighs of deficiencies. I'll keep an eye on it. They look great though. 9/16 Watered after church. 3 1/2 gallons so approximately a half gallon each. Iys been really hot and i dont see rain in the forecast. Also broke the gmo that I fimmed right at a topping point. It wasnt wilted, and I ran and grabbed duct tape and fixed it. I've had good luck in the past this way. Hopfully I will this time as well. Still sucks though 9/17 The plant that split at the V that I taped up seems to be doing just fine. Looks just like the other top next to it. Thank God. Things seem to be going well. I'm wondering if I should start giving nutrients but I don't see any deficiencies and I know this soil mix lasts pretty much through veg without showing signs of deficiencies. I think it might be a case of "if it's not broke don't fix it." I'll look back on diaries and I'll do some research. 9/18 It's overcast but it's been in the upper 80's. I checked the plants around 11 and they looked good. They'll need water but I'm holding off until the morning. The plant I broke at the crook shows no signs of wilting or any negative effects. I assume it will come back stronger. I was thinking about watering tonight but at 12 there was still a little moisture. They will be fine until morning. Plants seem bigger every day.
