Day 63 - All the ladies seem to be doing great, one of the orange sherbets is still a little behind but over all I think they have all bounced back from the light & nutrient burn! Hi Growmies. I hope we are all well and in the green?. Even though still a little quiet on here at the moment , I hope my video can help someone to try training their plants and watch the results as we progress. It may seem long but I did all 4 girls and wanted to show the hardiness of these amazing species of plants. They have all really settled in over the past week and the reporting did not slow them down too much bit seems. seeing how much the Brice banner had ballonwd along with the Jealousy #1 was an unexpected surprise. Both ladies have enough nodes to really get to work with now . they didn't bat an eyelid at the topping and just of the new growing shoots. The "pop and twist" with thumb and forefinger is a great way of keeping the branches where you ideally want them to stay. it will help create a nodule that will be both string and very good as a distribution point for the uptaken nutes from the soil. The limbs will thicken too and help create the shape that I need before flipping to flowering. The two smaller girls have come back with a brilliant green cour thanks to the mega crop and its magical powers. lol Both are wnow close to their host training points and hopefully will have caught up by the next diary entry. I want to get their tips to the pots edges before that point so that I can create the upward spikes of the chosen flowering limbs. keeping the lower sprouting growth on each limb will.allow all the energy to go into creating hopeful merristems. We want them all to think they are the main stem to get an even boost of available nutrition without feeding lower potential popcorn growth which can be an issue with l.e.d and penetration. The idea is to create a canopy of main buds if we can fool the plant enough. fingers crossed and I hope you can join me on this journey.

Strain: Lemon AK Breeder: Fastbuds Started from Seed Feminized Autoflower Seed Count: 5 Week 3 11/10/2018 - 11/16/2018 Nutrients are now at 100% strength and plants are all growing nicely and showing good color. Plant #2 had a curving stem issue so I've added a small bamboo stake to straighten her out. After 3 days it seems to be working. Also, I brought the light down to 24” now that the seedlings are well established and used to the spectrum. Speaking of stems … the Fastbuds description mentioned weakness in the first few weeks and the need for support. I've had 2 6” fans creating “windy” conditions since the seeds were planted and I've added some silica to the nutrients to strengthen the plant structure. So far it seems to be working because all of the plants (even the one with "scoliosis") seems to have good support and thickness in the stems. The plants have doubled in size this week and now range from 4” - 7”.

Beautiful strain to grow, she ended up. With a smaller size compared to her sisters but she's a big quality lady very frosty and sweet, the aroma of this sticky flowers are super sweet and floral, just so wonderful, I love this strain and I'm glad I have black cherry punch in my garden the 5 of them with the same aroma 🔝 can't wait to croptober

This week was really great except for some weather problem, cold is came a little bit earlier and i m still fixing something in the grow box. Roots are really large and strenght. Flowering started exactly in the 28 day. Let's go!

D43. The start of a new week, and not much to report. ------------------------------ D46. The reservoir is finally just about empty after 17 days. I'll top water with compost tea and sprouted seed tea tomorrow before filling the reservoir again in a couple of days. ------------------------------ D49. We're at the end of the third week of flower, and things are on autopilot. I'm not completely happy with the soil I'm testing as I'm seeing clawed and burnt leaf tips. Maybe I'm being picky, as it's relatively minor, and the plant looks happy overall, but I have never seen this growing in my own soil mixes. I filled up the reservoir with 7 liters of water @ pH 6.0. I adjusted the pH to be on the lower end since it has a tendency to creep up over time. ------------------------------

Did some defoliation. Roots still growing white down to bottom. Raising temps worked with the droopyness. Hope it packs weight i dont think ill get much from the short veg and pot size Week 4.5 added some balls video for my boy Ferenchy. Its smelling like hint of gum!

Substantial growth in the roots. Should hit flower in the next week or two.

The buds fattened up to about the size of my fist. Sticky resin coated everything and the tent smelled fantastic.

Its finally done! So on the next days buds will continue to dry regularly in their jars. The total weight of the two wedding cake was (82g)..on the next few weeks I will continue to check their weight, while the total weight of their trim was 34.1g which i will use them asap in order to wash some hash. I did some tests with some small buds to feel the flavors and get an idea of what I would expect.. I was struck by how different the two wedding cakes are. with both the smell and the look of the buds. I will post other updates with photos in the coming days! Thanks fam for the support! 💚

left the girls to settle into their new environment. Have been watering every 4 days or so, not much rain this week. Plants are looking good and showing some signs of leaf growth which means the roots have already branched out. Chitosal as a root drench is supposed to help with drought tolerance and salt stress, no salt stress here as we are organic. Next week things to do: 1) spread and re-stake plants. 2) create a top amendment feeding and watering bowl under each plant with some chicken wire.

11/10/2021 Catching up on some back burner projects Blue Matter F2 being upgraded to #1) dropped a few seeds into some RO water over night. Following night into paper towel in zip lock bag. Next day seeds cracked, put in jiffy pellets to finish germination under humidity dome. Will post pics when popping through soil. Here and there we sell untested varieties for a real cool deal, there’s really not a ton of risk here, but every once in awhile shit can go south. Now here is a really trippy blend here amigos, and let me tell you why. When I brought up my BR1947 plants from seed, I got one of the small females, that is just resin soaked and much more potent than any other BR1947 phenotype, in my experience. This pheno of the BR1947 also has the strongest medical properties regarding her abilities to calm down nerve damage type spasms. But she doesn’t get very big, short and stocky with average yields and serious Blueberry flavors and smells. The father is the Dark Matter, which is my Rusty Haze male x my Cherry Thunderfuck. This plant (Dark Matter) gets large and often imparts a Grape Crush type influence into fruity/berry flavored varieties it breeds with. So while this cross is essentially the same parental varieties as the KOS Dark Rhino, this one was made with a very special female and sure to deliver a unique connoisseur treat. These will likely go 9 or 10 weeks, yields should be alright, smells and flavors should be off the hook, medical properties should be at full power, and she will fairly likely stay on the shorter more stacked side regarding morphology. So check out this special girl if you think she may be what the doctor ordered! 11/11/2021 #1 is above ground! Going to measure ppfd tomorrow to figure out where to put them so I don't burn leaves or stress without enough light. 11/12/2021 Three more popped up today at four and counting. 11/13/2021 3 more sprouts today total of, 7 of 11 seeds so far good. Germ rate considering how I stored them. In a warm dresser drawer since 2017? 11/14/2021 Seven of 11 so far. Up potted our #1 sprout to her home for the next 30 or so. Also up pot others as needed over the next week. Veg should be start soon. 11/16/2021 6 days and 7 out of 11 sprouting. So I'll pot up the 7 sisters ( fingers crossed) and ad others if they sprout. 11/18/2021 8 out of 11 germinated potted up 5 got 3 more to transplant. Should be ready to start veg soon got single fingered leaves but waiting on first set of 3 leaves to begin veg. 72.2 germ rate on improperly stored seed. Decent.

Man this girl is soooo resilient I did a little bit of lollipoping as well but it’s really not worth mentioning. 10/10 recommend meph genetics .
