Decided I didn’t want to wait for the entire canopy to fill so I figured I’d do some lollipopping and one last vegetative feeding before flipping to flower in a few days after they have a couple days to stabilize after all the trimming I did today. In retrospect, looking at the before and after I may have gotten a little too heavy handed with the lollipopping and defoliation but you live and learn. The advice I got here like 3 weeks ago to back off the watering and let the soil dry out completely for like a week really helped the plant bounce back from the overwatering I was doing. Another lesson learned. Thanks again for all the experienced advice! The new growth leaves show none of the same issues the old ones were. I’m looking forward to flipping to flower and I love the fact that this is such a fast flowering strand!

The buds are forming! Changed to a nicer light recently, light is great, although my mars hydro 600w did me justice. This new one I got of amazon for under $100 is 1000 watt led and crushing it. It has increased temps significantly which is a bit tough for me to control given my tent is in a closet. Also it is starting to getting less humid outside, so I reduced airflow in the tent to keep the humidity at 50. I have a small humidifier coming soon (oddly a Corporate work gift lol).

I am loving how strong this sativa strain is. I keep defoliating her to expose as many bud sites as possible. At the same time, I am trimming those side branches with low chances of making it to the top. 🌱🌱👍🏻👍🏻

ULH_1 Starting to flower, it is 3 weeks old. This morning, spotted the new hairs, so my thoughts were clear: This plant needs a final transplant before Flowering ^^ . 25 litres tex-pot, with Canna-Terra Pro. First nutrients feeding, after rooting period. Dose is 2 ml/l TopVeg. Planning to give her Veg nutes for 3 weeks at least. ULH_2 is still growing and rooting, its like 2 weeks old since germination.

Often, marijuana growers who have their plants in indoor grow tents or rooms with artificial lighting, take into account parameters such as temperature and relative humidity to maximize plants growth and bloom, thus obtaining abundant harvest with top quality flowers. As we will see later, these factors affect different processes of the plant, such as transpiration or nutrient uptake. However, we usually forget about another important factor that is related to the aforementioned ones: vapor pressure deficit or VPD. Broadly speaking, VPD is the difference between the amount of water vapor that the atmosphere is able to retain (which depends on temperature) and the amount of water vapor contained in it (relative humidity). It is usually measured in kilopascals (kPa). Providing our plants with a correct relationship between temperature and relative moisture will keep us on the right VPD parameters, increasing the plant’s activity and thus improving its growth and showing its full potential during the flowering phase. The ideal would be to adjust both parameters (temperature and humidity) to get the best possible VPD value, so that the development of plants will be amazing.In the chart above you can see the right temperature and moisture values to maximize the development of cannabis plants. The green zone shows you optimal values of VPD, in which it would be ideal to maintain the environment. The orange zone shows correct values, in which plants should not have problems to develop normally. However, red areas show values in which your plants will be very far from hit their full potential, since the relation between temperature and moisture is not optimal. With relatively high values of VPD (between 5 and 12) plants tend to open their stomata and release a considerable amount of water vapor into the environment (increasing their transpiration). This increase in transpiration results in an increase in the plant’s photosynthetic activity, which will need more nutrients and will improve its overall growth, both during growth and bloom. The best range is between 7.5 and 10.5, which we have marked in green. However, we must be careful that VPD is not too high (dark red zone) since the plant would close its stomata to avoid releasing too much water vapor to the environment, which would result in fast dehydration due to excessive transpiration. On the other hand, if VPD is too low (light red zone), the plant will also close its stomata for not releasing more water into the atmosphere, which in this case would be already saturated (it would have reached the maximum water retention capacity in a specific temperature). In this way, reducing transpiration will also reduce photosynthesis, which has a direct impact on the plant’s development and yield. That way, VPD is essential when it comes to offer the best conditions for the development of plants, also to understand its water requirements according to the nutrients used and thus adjust them correctly to meet the grower’s expectations. Graduated, and am off from work for a few weeks, so went overboard on photos. Plant is doing well, leaves are starting to turn yellow (strain trait). Can't wait for the harvest and being able legally gift my xmas ornaments to my cousins during our "cousins walk" at our family xmas party.

She growing like a real trooper 😁 she's super healthy! Supercropped all her limbs again this week but I'm afraid i made a few mistakes this time round....don't supercrop too low! Lost 4 of her main branches :( we currently have torrential rain & gail force winds so I'm not holding out for any branches left after today lol fingers crossed tho....wish me luck!

EDIT: I thought the girls were done growing verticaly but i guess not. I measured at 51cm 2 times in a row. I just went to check and theyre 58 to 60cm and still going. (Day 37) Growth: This week vertical growth slowed down while the branches are catching up. I had a nitrogen deficiency on all the girls. I still go by the water,water,feed schedule and i usually have 2 dry days between every watering. So they only had 3 feedings of Terra Vega all this time. I think ill do water feed water now that flowering has begun. Lets hope these girls will put on some weight 😁 I added 1 100W cob and will be adding more the coming months. I also have a tent on the way. Training: I defoliated the 4 girls that are in flower and stopped applying LST. #5 (1 week behind) on the other hand got manhandled lol. I accidentally broke off the top and she got supercropped and bounces back within hours. Nutrients: 2ml Canna Terra Vega>>>1.5ml Canna Terra Vega 1ml Canna Terra Flores 2.5ml Cannazym 1x per week

Day 35 - few pics and vids..... everything going along nicely 👍 This is a pretty big update, so i'll add to it over the next few days, as i finish building it all.... i'm building these 2 x SS haze, the full tent, just finishing up the setup..... trimming them, changing solutions to 12/12 and flower..... changed the exhaust fan and filter setup to the better outside the tent method.... and installed 12v CPU computer fan, lol ("alta9" fits in 4in ducting perfectly), drops wattage on extractor fan.... 10w tops... got a few kg of active carbon and making/replacing the carbon filter .... i'll add afew vids of the new setup in afew days... Day 36 - few pics/vid of new tent setup...... "alta 9" fan :) post tomorrow after i finish trimmin and settin up night mode etc...... and into tomorrow we go, lol ... Day 37.... slowly getting there..... little bit more to go... this should make things abit more interesting..... right tank (short babie) has : 19 lts of tap water @18oC + 150 ml -dutch master one gold FLOWER.... 6.4 PH - 1400 PPM left tank has : 19 lts of tap water @18oC + 50 ml of elements a and 50ml of b and 10 ml of nitro and 20ml of Crystalic (molasses/pot) .... 6.5 PH - 1200 PPM more pics / vids of the finished tent setup.... roots, transfer, etc... Day 37 is alot of vids of the clean and change to flower..... edit - day after build noticed left tank (nutrifield) not enough bubbles..... pulled out the 4 air pump and swapped to the 2 x original oxipumps... much better, also to fix the problem with ph goin high, and bubbles not stirin the mix, was to add another 10ml of crystallic and another 5ml of nitro... then pumped both tanks with ph down and set em to 5.8-6.2 - both plants have fully recovered from the big trim, and bounced back within 12-24hrs, post pics/vid in abit..... Day 39 - made a freaky video... was curious about what the plants would see looking up at the lights... the lights and buzzing of air compressors and bubbling tank water, and dazzling lights turned out pretty cool in vid editor, was in selfie mode.... and final vid of the bounceback from trim :) 👍😎

Week two is upon us ! I have a new pocket size humidifier and it works great!! The low temperatures of my nights already bring out some purple on the leaves. Im pleased to see this so early in its lifespan. Although i have to be careful not to stunt her with too cold nights. I mixed a 1/4 of the recommended dose of nutrients for her first feeding. By doing so im reducing the risk of nutrients burn. To be honest i will get a few burnt tips on the firs set of leaves but id rather have a bit too much then less at this stage. The first leaves will drop first so i wont mind them being less attractive. The internode distance is good for a indica so far and i am pleased of the results so far. The glasses i use are yellow tinted and apparently they do a good job at correcting the colours for spotting deficiencies

First off, that mf holds it's name very well. The smell on that strain is phenomenal. Much of fruity citrus and earthy notes and that's without the curing. I smoked a bit to get a taste. Smoke and taste quite harsh but that should go away with the curing. I harvested 634g wet, including a lot of stems, and ended up with 121g dried. they lost 80% of their mass and I might have over-dried them since I expected to get more tbh. However that's more than enough to get me through next harvest. The 3 plants turned out to be pretty different phenotype. All over pretty great but one could have used denser buds. They don't have the same maturity which means I got buds for all occasions. Kept the trimmings in the freezer for an hour and also harvested 0.67g of kief with a 220 micron bag. A lot of impurities but that was to be expected. I don't think the calcium problem has had a significant impact. Overall very happy with the product and the experience.

Week four of the bonsai mother project. This was the week I targetted to begin removing the sheath and exposing the roots. I plan to begin that process in the coming days. Day 23 - Photographed. I've been watering this girl tap water only, at the moment she has enough nutes in the medium, however I expect this to soon change. Her roots have protruded out of the bottom of the lower pot, as you can see from the video. Day 26 - Removed the sheath and revealed the roots and object they are growing over. 2/19 Week 8 Controlling the stretch somewhat by keeping strong blue light in the spectrum. Wont start flower under HPS again, will wait till stretch has finished. The FFt-7 seem to respond most to this, the FFt-5 not as much but still slowed down. Major day coming Saturday everyone back into one tent and that undergrowth is getting trimmed! Driving me nuts Wont need to worry so much over height at that point. Adding that small amount of PK has really spurred a lot of bud growth, looks like the guys knew what he was talking about. 2/21 Could not wait so... Lower End Defoliation Day!
