Man, it's been a crazy week. These past few days have been brutal – seriously cold with this crazy humidity. I don't know about you, but I'm sick of the chills and the way my skin feels all sticky. It's been a struggle, but I'm finally getting on top of things. I think I've figured out a good routine to dry things out around here, so hopefully, I'll be feeling a lot more comfortable soon. It's been interesting watching these permanent marker plants grow. One of them is still kinda lagging behind, but I think I've got the other one figured out. It's stacked so perfectly, and it's starting to look super sparkly, almost like it's got little crystals on it. I'm curious to see if the other plant will catch up.

Today I top dressed everyone with a full strength feed of nature’s pride bloom, compost, added bacteria, kelzyme calcium and a handful of promix. This will be the last feeding for both the blackberry breaths. It looks like everyone else is going to go 9-10 weeks so they will get 1 more feeding. Either way I’m going to harvest everything at once so the bbb’s are going to get extra ripe. The frost on the one pheno is insane. Smells are amazing so far too. Will report smell after drying. I just grabbed a full organic nutrient line for use in my next run. I got more of the nature’s pride veg and bloom dry amendments, boogie brew tea, kelzyme xx calcium, EM1 microbes and method 1pps spray. I will also be using Alaska fish emulsion (5-1-1) worm castings, WOW mycorrhizae and a pre inoculated 50/50 coco promix blend. Seeds came in!!! They hooked it up fat too. I got the 12 dolato seeds I ordered plus Slurricane F1 x6 and puro loco x6. The puro locos are going to be used for outdoor and I might do a little pheno hunt of the slurricane this year. The F1 is supposed to be better or more likely to show genes from both parents. Can’t wait! So today I forgot to water and it really looks like it shocked them... they all drooped like crazy and yellowed out more. I got them all watered and raised the light to ease some of the stress. Worst time possible to forget a watering!!! Won’t let it happen again. I was reading that PPFD levels over 1000 require added co2 and my light is well above 1000 at 8”. That could also be another reason my plants yellowed out so quickly. Next round I’m going to up the nutes and get one of those bottles of co2 and see if they make a difference. I would have to keep my filter on a timer so it wouldn’t deplete so fast. Or just use it for the parts of my grow that doesn’t need a filter. I didn’t even need the filter until week 3-4 of flower. I cleaned the sock on my carbon filter and now it’s just sucking the life out of my tent. The humidity went from being too high to being too low. Going to lower the speed until the humidity is proper. This tent isn’t that old and that filter sock was disgusting. Going to try stablizing my RO water with a bit of snow in the winter and rain in the summer

Plants are taking off. Canopy is full. Anvil in the middle taking her sweet time to flower. Gonna be a huge plant!

The lighting intensity is at 833 PPFD, and the solution in the reservoir is fine-tuned to a pH of 6.22, EC of 475, with a temp of 21.8°C. Let’s talk pH in the reservoir: it’s a dynamic process, and I’m constantly adjusting it to keep everything at the right level. After 4 days of heavy rain, the first mold appeared... So I spent about 18 hours searching for plants and picking out mold with tweezers After last year's experience with another seed bank, I expected the plants to be very affected by mold, but I have to say that Fast Buds genetics coped very well! Mold appear mainly on blisters to which the stem of the leaf leads water, which then collects between the stem and the blister I trimmed the plants more so that the air flows better and that water does not stick to them The plants look healthy and the flowers are gaining strength I really like the genetic stability of Gorilla Zkitllez, almost all the plants look exactly the same and are in the same flowering phase. Some plants are absolutely gigantic! if I didn't do LST, I guess the plants would be as big as me. however, what surprises me is that they are slower than Gorilla Strawberry, I think that some Gorilla Zkytllez will be after 12-13 weeks From the start Gorilla Zkytllez smelled strongly like diesel but now a very strong pleasant sweet smell exactly like Zkytllez candies I haven't seen my children for 3 days, it's raining extremely ... the last time I was chased out by swarms of ants in the early evening, I've never experienced this before, there were maybe a million of them and they sat on me and on the plants I'm finally going to visit them tomorrow, I expect I'll have a lot of work to do with mold and I hope the swarms of ants haven't harmed them in any way

Any help on what may be happening with the slight browning? Maybe over watering? I have not used any nutes up until now with FFBB I would be surprised if burn but it does look like it by the tips

It was a wonderful journey, I really had the honor of doing this girl many times, this time even close to the Monster Zkittlez with which they generated the Runtz who was also in the grow. Super modern family situation, I wanted to try to figure out which one I liked best, and I still haven't been able to. at least I'm still tasting Runtz's first flowers and it's heavenly but the freshly picked Gelato and the upcoming Zkittlez are scary just to see them. Super resin, it really looks fake, I also have some macro photos that will make you cry. The resin is everywhere the trichomes are even in the largest leaves the scent is of the garden of eden. wow. Show. Really nice. It was freshly cleaned I want to try to do the resin the first time and then I have freshly cleaned and hung the whole girl upside down under the crop data next week when I clean and can give the detail. Gorgeous. Before being collected, she did two music therapy days, one of which in the dark with frequencies for plants and together we listened: 1 - Paolo Conte - "Gelato" al Limon 2 - Raekwon - Ice Cream to stay on the "Geato" theme and then all the M83 discography to be collected with the very famous Outro of Interstellar really seems to pass to a better life listening to that stuff. BIG BIG apologies to Heather from fast buds & to Growdiaries & anyone who follows. The past few months have been a massive struggle, not just with temperatures & growing weed but on a personal level. My wife has been very poorly & with covid and everything going on, it's put a massive strain on us all!! I've tries to maintain an active presence on Instagram but that's about all I've physically had time for. I've put this update together today, so far into the grow now it almost seems pointless. I lost my original Mimosa due to high temps & high RH. Moving into the attic at that time of year was a mistake. It has cost me a small fortune to keep things alive. I've had to purchase an air con unit, more fans & just more of everything to be honest. My purple punch is almost ready to harvest, any time within the next couple of days, followed shortly by Bruce Banner & Kosher cake. I wont be winning any awards for this Diary & I feel bad as I was supposed to be show casing what 420 Fast buds has to offer & I've failed...miserably. I did a lot of defoliation work this week. Plants look very naked now. 😻 But more light for the buds 😛 = Less leaves = less water (-25%) The plants don't make many few new flowers anymore. Plants have nice fat buds, swelling and getting hard. 💪 Pistils turn brown.

03/12/2019 Day 81 The Dr seems to be concentrating in forming buds but I think she's grown some half centimeter, is she going to touch the ceiling? She has to know that is is confined and the sky is not the limit, at least in her condition. Day 82 (04-12-2019) The shoot at the rear left is almost touching the celiling of the grow tent😨 and i keep on tying other shoots and keeping them the farthest from the burning lights (many leaves' tips are scorched, but fortunately it's just the tip and the bud is still far from that hot point. Other leaves that are close to the lights, well, I took scissors and there's no need to speak further. Look the hard work I'm having with this plant height's issue. Goddammit why can't I have a normal grow like everyone? Day 83 just looking the video and the pics is self explanatory. No further comments 😒 Day 84 Ithe tallest shoot has reached the ceiling and seems to try to keep on growing so she needed to start bending at the very top because she wouldn't get past the tent fabric. Regarding EC, I am using a fertigation solution about 1,3 mS/cm and the runoff EC at 1.5 mS/cm. EC has been kept controlled since I raised fertigation volume to 6 L per fertigation event (1/day), unfortunately this solution containing nutrients goes to waste :( Day 85 07/12 I'lllst the tops that get to touch the ceiling and keep observing and acting as needed. I fear she'll stilll keep going up for a while. Fertigations as usual, got runoff EC 650 ppm today (1.3 ms/cm) which I think it's very good of a value. Day 86 (08/12/2019) Following advice I defoliated and even cut some thin and improductive shoots. Removed a lot of foliage and even supercropped a long tall shoot, I want to see how this high stress technique affects her. Because I plan to keep it doing if other shoots decided to continue growing. I wonder why do shoots continue growing vertical after having passed the light's level. Is it the glow coming from the reflective walls perhaps? Many questions. I decided to take down some tall shoots by suspending little weights near the tip, it seems to work more or less fine. Day 87 luckily the HST seems to have worked fine, the shoots are recovering and point upwards again. The main tip is quite unruly, today I supercropped that tip. Runoff EC is 650 ppm, perfect. Day 92 /14-12-2019) I think that despite her exaggerate growth she's managing to thrive fine with some limitations, buds seems going well. Shoots are still growing vertical but supercropping and resistance seems to have hampered her a while, but now I see she engaged on growing some centimeters more :/ Day 93 two days from starting the 14th week, despite the lights and the heat of this season (added to the lights I had to keep the tent door open for there was 32 ºC inside) the Dr is taking it well, I see the buds foxtailing as I expected, and I'm positive this grow will get to a good end. I'll work day by day to achieve that. Regarding fertigation, I gave her a solution half concentrated (relative to the solutions that I had given her the preceding days) because I noticed salt build-up by the EC measurements. I left run off EC at 800 ppm which is still a bit high for my liking but not excessively. For the amount of runoff I collected today, I see she seems to be drinking a little more.

Was another good week of growth. After getting transplanted, the girl got topped. She took a few days to fully recover. Whether that be from topping, transplanting or most likely both, we are on track again. i was thinking about harvesting half and letting the bottom half finish but after chopping some of it i just ended up taking it all down. i knew i wouldnt get a crazy amount of weight from the early mess ups but im guessing it will be about 2 oz when dried. im happy with anything thats smokeable for a first time grower tho and i cant wait to get started on 2 more ladies :D im thinking maybe do the purple punch but this time use a 5 gallon pot so i can see her at her best ! the roots were sure cramped in this 2gallon lol. thanks for reading and following my journey :D

This week went pretty well. She stretched another 8 inches and is up to 48" even though I am not feeding her any veg nutrients, and I am really hoping she is ready to chill out because I have the lights D-Ringed to the roof of the tent, I had to remove the pulleys from them because they took too much room. I also added another 100 watt Spider Farmer and a 150 watt mars hydro to the mix, so I am running 4 lights at 790 Watts total for this plant. I am between 65K and 75K lumens for the entire canopy, and i have 150 watts coming in from underneath the canopy. I am also struggling with the humidity in the tent, even though I am able to maintain 45% RH outside the tent, I am having trouble keeping the tent below 60% RH and it is due to all the transpiration from her leaves, as well as the high frequency fertigation that I deploy, although all the runoff is outside the tent within 90 seconds of feeding, so not much I can do about either one. I know it doesn't look like I am defoliating her, but I have a trash bag almost full just from this plant. I purchased a small dehumidifier for inside the tent and it will be arriving tomorrow, so hopefully that takes care of my issues, as I don't want any moldy colas.
