Hello Growmies, As we wrap up the seventh week of our Epic Buzz cultivation, our tent is bustling with life, with each plant showcasing the fruits of our labor. The training techniques, including defoliation, lollipopping, and scrogging, have been executed to near perfection, allowing our plants to transition into the flowering phase with robust vigor. Epic Buzz #1 and #2, in particular, are the epitome of horticultural excellence, with their sturdy stems and lush foliage setting the standard in our green haven. This week marked a pivotal shift in our lighting strategy, as we nudged the PPFD values from a modest 250-350 up to an assertive 450-500. This increase is designed to optimize the light intensity during this critical phase of growth, catering to the heightened demands of our flowering beauties. Our nutrient regime has been meticulously fine-tuned to accommodate the changing needs of our Epic Buzz varieties. The switch from Alga Grow to Alga Bloom signifies our plants' transition from vegetative growth to flowering, ensuring they receive the ideal nutrient profile for bud development. This, paired with our steadfast mix of Sugar Royal, Power Roots, and Orca, is dispensed religiously every four days to maintain optimal health and vitality. The controlled conditions within the Tent-X continue to be monitored with precision, keeping the VPD levels within a desirable range, despite occasional deviations due to manual fan adjustments. However, the imminent arrival of the Prima Klima EC fan is set to revolutionize our environmental control, promising seamless day-to-night transitions and a well-deserved retirement for the Mars Hydro fan. I humbly seek the collective expertise of this community for guidance on integrating a 5-phased PWM motor with the TrolMaster controller. Your shared experiences and advice are invaluable as we strive for continuous improvement in our growing endeavors. As we look ahead, the promise of what's to come with our Epic Buzz trio fills us with anticipation. Their impressive canopies and formidable structures are not just a testament to their genetic potential but a reflection of our dedication and the collective wisdom of this remarkable community. Stay lifted, and may your gardens always grow bountifully, Salokin

Info: Unfortunately, I had to find out that my account is used for fake pages in social media. I am only active here on growdiaries. I am not on facebook instagram twitter etc All accounts except this one are fake. Have fun with the update. Flowering day 26 since time change to 12/12. Hey everyone 😃. Another great week goes by. Last week, instead of 2 g of GHSC Powder Feeding, I only gave 1.5 g p l of substrate so that I can give you another 1 g per l of substrate next week so that it lasts until the end :-). It is developing very well and the buds are starting to grow :-). The week was poured 3 times with 1.1 l each time. once of them GHSC Enhancer was added :-). The bottom shoots have now also been removed :-). As always, the humidifier was refilled every day and the lady was checked for her health. I hope you enjoy the update. Stay healthy and let it grow 😊🍀. Both girls are healthy and happy. Buds are solid although still a bit small. Today my Mars Hydro TSW2000 arrived and it's already unpacked and hung. I raised the light dustance to 45 cm. I also moved the cheapo 100w LED to 2 new FastBuds Zkittlz Auto seedlings. Wow, what a difference good lighting makes!! The Mars Hydro TSW2000 is well made, easy to install and bright-ass daylight LED!! I expect to see significant fattening of the buds over the next 2-3 weeks. Update: I swear the existing buds doubled in size within the last 24 hrs after switching out the light to the Mars Hydro. I'm excited to see how these 2 finish. 4/22 update: I'll be damned! The box from the new light (which is heavy, double wall corrugated) fell onto both plants...I heard snapping everywhere! Good ole electrical tape to the rescue!! These girls look wounded with all this black tape! It's several hours after bandaging and I see no wilting or noticable changes....keeping my fingers crossed! The videos show both plants pretty well recovered from the damage except the purple stems and veins. I have some cal/mag coming Monday.... hoping that will fix that issue. Both are loving this new light and continue to pack on the bud weight.

All I can say is WOW just WOW, One plant is hitting the light and I can't go any higher. It is 53 inches tall. All but 1 is flowering really nicely. The 1 is taking its sweet time. They seem very happy and healthy. I have to defoliate every other day or so.

Frostbanger Plants 1-6 Week 8 May 18– 24 FLOWER 4 Nutrients : GH Micro 25 ml GH Gro 10 ml GH Bloom 30ml CalMag 30 ml Recharge 10ml Green sensation 16.5ml Power buds 7.5 ml 5/17 PH 6.3, PPM 1130, temp 71 1ltr each 5/18 PH 6.67, PPM 935, temp 68.5 1 ltr each 5/20 PH 6.67, PPM 1330, temp 68.5 2 ltr each 5/21 PH 6.66, PPM 984, temp 69 1 ltr each videos & pics 5/17 Defoliation of yellowing leaves, feed, pics As I mentioned last week, I must monitor and control the tent environment manually. For the past month, the humidifier has been an issue putting out way too much humidity; often leaving water in the bottom of the tent. In addition, the temperatures are also out of control. I added an AC last week to keep the temperature below 80. I finally determined the exhaust vent is also broken and has been for some time. AC Infinity does not extend the warranty to the replacement parts. I guess that makes sense since they would be in a state of perpetual free replacements. I bought a new one from Amazon that came with a new controller which is different from the controller 69 currently using. I decided that while it is very inconvenient and inefficient to monitor the tent through the day, I would rather finish this Frostbanger run without introducing a new unknown variable. I will continue using 3 circulating fans, the 4” exhaust vent from my 3x3. I have the AC pushing air in and the exhaust pulling air out. This creates a neutral pressure tent environment-neither positive nor negative. It looks like growth has stopped and plant height has been reached. Now is the time for buds to fatten and frost up. All 6 of them are short remaining less than 3 ft. They range from 15 to 31 inches. #4, 5 &6 are showing some fade, particularly #4. Upon opening the tent, a melon smell comes off the buds if I get close, and more stickiness was observed during the process of defoliation. They are living up to the new strain’s name. #5 is the frostiest followed by #2. Wow week 3 of flower and that much frost already. Before FastBuds announced the strain name and characteristics, I was disappointed that FBA2502 could be an indica sleepy strain but the universe provides what you need at the time. The new strain profile indicates a whopping 29%THC with mainly sativa uplifting, euphoric, social effects with sweet fruity flavors which I love and enjoy. In addition, I recently bought a dap press and this strain is frosty and resinous. She will be great to press for live rosin. FBA2502 is FROSTBANGER. Meet Frostbanger Auto, an autoflowering and Indica-leaning hybrid packing a staggeringly high THC content averaging 29%, making this one of the most potent strains on the market. It was created by Fast Buds through crossbreeding Gorilla Glue and Chemdawg, two equally iconic strains. Growers must know that these difficult-to-grow plants will pose specific challenges in terms of environmental control and nutrition, making them best suited for cultivators with some experience under their belt. The flowering cycle is short, averaging only 50 days, and yields are usually around 300g/m². The Frostbanger Auto flavor and aroma are both mouthwatering with a delightful combination of sweet, fruity, and flowery notes. The high is mainly Sativa-driven with uplifting and happiness-inducing effects that lead to euphoria and a general sense of well-being. You might feel sociable and talkative, but too spacey to say something. Following this surge of energy comes a deepening sense of relaxation, leaving you sedated and completely at ease with the world. Due to its potency and these long-lasting effects, medical patients hail Frostbanger Auto for treating chronic pain, stress, and even depression. Measurements: #1 15” #2 20” #3 17” #4 30” #5 31” #6 24” Your likes and comments are appreciated. Thanks for stopping by. Growers love 💚🌿 💫Natrona💫

Day 78 - Starting week 12 and had a ton of leaves that yellowed and died off. Most were from the bottom of the plant so thinking it’s just the natural process. Gave her two gallons of water and cal-mag today and the next watering will be with nutrients. She’s definitely starting to fatten and fill up and really frosty and sticky. Day 79 - All looking good and she’s chugging along nicely, couple more weeks and will probably start flushing her to finish up. She’s almost dried up already so she’ll be getting 2 gallons of water and nutrients tomorrow. Day 80 - Things are going good and gave her 2 gallons of water and nutes today. Afterwards I placed her back in the tent but had to hook up some of the yo-yo’s in there because she’s tall and the buds are starting to weigh her down so hopefully she won’t stress so much trying to stand tall now. Day 82 - All is looking good and had to give the girl 2 gallons of pH’d water and cal-mag today. She really seems to like the yo-yo’s helping her support the weight of the buds. She’s fattening and frosting up more each day and looking like we might be down to the last couple of weeks. Day 83 - She’s starting to develop a little darker coloring on her towards the top and it’s making her look fantastic. The smell is amazing and she’s frosty as hell. She’s got some really thick and bright white pistils still shooting out so still looking at a good couple of weeks before she’s ready for harvest. Will be giving her some pH’d water and cal-mag tomorrow. Day 84 - The end of week 12 today and gave her her 2 gallon drink of water and cal-mag. Other than that, she’s doing good and starting to notice the pistils just now starting to shrivel up just a bit. Still bright white and standing tall but some are starting.

buds are getting fat and smell is more intense now. the watering level is low and the leaves are yellowing so i won't refill it because the plant is near to harvest. I recorded a microscope video to see trychomes (sorry for my bad pulse) but enought to see that buds aren't ready to harvest, maybe the next week.

Veg Week 6 Day 42 to 48 - 4/1 to 4/7 This week is primarily test training recovery and final topping set. I would have typically already cut the third top after 3 new nodes of growth but since I decided to experiment with breaks I allowed more time for recovery and None were cut until I saw I had at least 3 nodes of new growth since the last topping. All limbs are doing better now and I see little to no 'new' hindered to overall growth from this point. I also defoliated some of the oldest leaves that gone damaged in the breaks. So as I said, little to no damage will produce average branches (prone to weight breaks later in flower as discovered in my first grow) Small to slightly moderate break of green and evenly crushed stem can create heavy knuckles with large waterways through hardwood provides great support and growth Moderate to heavy rips with no back support will runt in growth and support if not die off. However if back supported immediately, it can recover with a little extra time. Feed this week was again an auto pot reservoir feed at 400ppm total before add-ins. I used 350ppm Veg concentrate mix (recipe week 2) and introduced 50ppm Bloom concentrate mix). I also added 1ml/gal of CaliMagic (General Hydroponics 1-0-0) and ph balance this week was for 5.9 Video Post defoliation Next week I plan to monitor the training of the branches and change out the feeds with 500ppm at 5.9ph. All I am trying to do now is set the growth of the branch to where I want them to flower stretch from.

7/15/2023 Day 11 Veg: watered again today, and added some Pure Protein Dry, BuildASoil Big 6, Rootwise Bio-Catalyst, and Yah-Whey Thrive. Also did a light foliar feed with the Pure Protein Dry as well. She still looks healthy so far. 7/17/2023: I appear to have a shore fly issue. This is a first for me. Delt with fungus gnats before, but these look like little flies. Need to start some IPM. Brewing a neem seed and mosquito bit tea, which I plan to do a soil drench with tomorrow. Will probably throw in some Dr. Zymes as well. I also have some beneficial nematodes I plan to add. We'll see how that works. 7/18/2023: watered with the tea I made yesterday, but instead of adding Dr. Zymes I added Lost Coast Plant Therapy. Also added the beneficial nematodes. 7/20/2023: the shore fly population seems to have declined, but it is still too early to tell. They are definitely in the earthbox, so I'm going to let it dry down more to see if that helps too. Roots are growing out of the bottom of the solo cup, but I'm going to wait another couple weeks before transplanting. 7/21/2023: watered with just plain water at a 6.2 ph.

Budds are fattening...but.. one day I forgot to turn back the fan after inspection, and it was off for a week almost. As a result i have found little fluffy white patch of mold on my biggest budd. So far I just sort of collected it, with a cotton stick.. hesitant to chop it down. Lowering watering, to 1l every 2 days, to keep humidity below 70. By the plan I am keepimg it through the June, 4 more weeks. Unless trychoms will call earlier. Thanks for checking See you next week

Week 7: Bloom Phase Launch & Heat Resilience Update: 04.07.2025 | Day 52 Temperatures peaked at 37°C this week – all plants handled the stress like champions. Zero pest issues. Took them out of the greenhouse to prevent heat stress. Adjusted feeding to address yellowing leaves. Strain Progress: Forbidden Runtz Officially in full bloom mode. Buds forming densely across the canopy with visible resin on sugar leaves. LST created a perfectly even structure. Emits a distinct sweet-fruity aroma when brushed – taste potential is promising. Minor yellowing on lower sugar leaves addressed with Bokashi boost. Otherwise impeccable health. Green Crack Caught up to Forbidden Runtz in size. First buds forming across all tops with early resin glimmers. Less bushy than Bruce Banner but likely needs 4-5 more weeks. Aroma present but subtle – awaiting signature mango punch. Strategic tie-downs continue to balance secondary shoots. Bruce Banner The standout performer. Bud sites exploding from every node under heavy LST. Top-down view reveals exceptional cola distribution. Responded best to training – poised to yield heaviest in the trio. Genuine testament to FastBuds' genetics. Feeding Adjustment: - Crushed Biotabs dissolved in water (50ml concentrate per 10L) - Added to every watering with Bokashi juice (1:100) - Targets yellowing while accelerating nutrient release Next Focus: - Monitor bud density development weekly and watch out for pests - Monitor plants for nute deficencies and to ensure the best growth as possible Catch ya next week. – Smoking_Joe_Frazier
