Let’s go Day 36 !!! This week went real great, girls built up a lot of structure, and stayed super healthy ! Today they got fed just water phd at 6.5 ! They been really loving that balance! I also removed a lot of under trim since we are going into preflower , so had to shave up those legs lol ! It’s really great for them , the love that airflow , but don’t take off too much or you could shock your plants so be careful ! Can’t wait to see what these girls do this week ! this is weeks 5 and 6.I topped them and trained the branches out to the side. Plus I broke one... I tried to save it but it broke again later

So far all is well. Left plant is looking great still. Right plant is still the same as it was, kinda "off." I cut the top off the main cola due to light burn. There's just no way that the plants energy it was directing to it was being used well. I'd rather it go to the rest of the plant because there's just no way that initial top was going to produce anything. It was gnarled. I've also noticed something odd going on with a couple of the buds on the stressed (purple) plant. I posted one of the pics in the pics for this weeks update. Looks kinda like bud rot to me but this is also my first grow so I could be wrong. It looks like it's only affecting the pistils. I may ask a question in the question forum just to be sure. It's odd though because conditions in the tent seem to be too dry maybe for bud rot (averaging in the 50-60% RH range and there is plenty of air circulation in that part of the tent. I'm thinking it could either be the plant negatively reacting to me cutting the main top off the other day or it's just the fact that due to the plant being stressed out for the entire grow that it's lost resistance to things like bud rot, etc.. essentially, I'm not sure at all lol.. Both plants are already showing a good amount of trichome production as the plants have almost switched from stretch flowering phase to pure on flowering/bulking phase. I can't wait to see the buds really start to mature and grow and get stinky. Carbon filter so far is working flawlessly. A week ago I was thinking it wasn't keeping up because when I'd come home from work I could smell pot but it turns out it was just my cannabutter supplies that I left out lol. D'oh. I've also been monitoring conditions in my basement over the past few weeks and have noticed that rain or no rain, the conditions down there are an average 66 degrees and 60-64% RH. With my dehumidifier if the conditions down there remain in that range, I should be able to achieve perfectly optimal drying conditions for when I harvest in 4-6 weeks or so. :) I am having a blast so far and can't wait to harvest and then really apply what I've learned online from youtube, here and reddit combined with my hands on experience from this grow to really fill out the canopy next time and also ensure both plants are the same height for some great yield. I'll probably mainline 2-3 plants for my next grow. I also want to eventually get into building my own soil and amendments but for now I'm just focusing on not learning & applying too many things at once. I just know that at some time I'd like to switch from synthetic nutrients to organic. I'm hooked for life to growing though!

I was ahead of schedule with my weekly updates so I am changing this week to the true week 6 update, photos are about a week and a half from last week update. Starting flowering nutes tomorrow after flushing all day today, seeing a lot of new pistil growth. I was hoping to have these harvested around week 10 but I’m thinking it’s gonna be more like 12 or 13 now which is fine, just taking it day by day. This week has been a lot of stretching, with the tallest one coming out at around 17 inches. I was gone on a trip for 5 days and left them to their own devices, and returned to see great growth and no signs of any issues. Humidity was at 90% in the tent when I got back which scared me but I saw no signs of stress, these girls really are some hulks. Aired it out and it’s back to a reasonable level now. I’ve been expressing my worries in previous updates about the plants growing too big for their grow area, however nothing is getting out of control and I don’t see them growing more than 12 more inches, which at max could be pushing a little close to the light but should be ok. Starting to get hints of some nice pungent smells which are different than the previous earthy ones, getting pretty excited.

I uploaded longer vids this time for the Vlogs, you don't have to watch em they're there for ya if you're interested :) ~Update~ To start off the girls look great, I'm excited that I'm back where I was when my "First Grow" failed. What's interesting to me is seeing the big difference in the SSH, the 2 previous girls I had were veracious growers, 3 1/2 days of germination and they had a tap root longer than an inch! This one is not so aggressive and has stronger sativa genetics, thin not phat. The others have been doing well, no pest yet which I'll be doing a bleach wipe down of my side of the garage to reduce the chances of an invasion. ~Note~ I'll be updating later this week with a short vid showing the progress. Things are looking good in THE TS 3000 tent, Banana Glue is almost done, smelling absolutely beautiful, bubblegum and berries. Can't wait to try all of them to be honest 😂. Moving along, no issues. Bring them outside around 10 am and back in around 8pm to put back under the blurples. Starting the early veg doses of nutrients with each feeding. I’m keeping the soil pretty dry in between watering.

So we are in the middle of week 10 and I feel pretty comfortable feeding them now, pretty much the same until next week when I give more Top Max. I've seen much more explosive growth on other diaries but I have to say I'm pretty proud so far for my first attempt. Staring at those fresh furry little balls of life is surreal, getting to this point is great, but it's far from over. So I kept the same feeding this week, still adding the Great White with mycorrhizae (and like 40+ other microbes) once a week as it says per directions. The BioBizz products are easy to use and hold up well, so I'm feeling better about going with them even though I had some issues at the beginning (all my fault most likely). I can dial in the feeding mixture PPM now first try to where I want it, so far 700ppm of a gallon every 2 days has been working out. I feel like at the start I was over watering because people say water everyday in coco, well that seems to be for the coco bricks. I am using FoxFarm Bush Doctor Coco Loco (long ass title just for some coco coir) with additional perlite and it has a lot more holding capacity than just normal bricked coco coir. For checking on when it needs water I still use the method of digging into the topsoil an inch and weighing the pots by hand. Also I've noticed if they are pretty tired looking after lights on then I'll water. Like everyone said, consistent fertigation has been the hardest part as a beginner. First week I'm posting a video, the fan can't oscillate so I turn it to the right, left, and keep it center as well as raise and lower it so there is decent airflow. I wouldn't say it's optimal but it works for now. I've raised the lights about 3 inches just so the top colas don't get burnt, I've also found the sweet spot on the potentiometer (power knob) where I can get maximum power without raising the temperature above 77f, which it quickly goes above 80f if I exceed it. I've done minor defoliation before each feeding (so like every 2 or 3 days), mostly just clearing the leaves from above while keeping the important sugar leaves and some fan leaves, even though most the large fan leaves have long died/turned. If you watch the first video I've posted you'll notice an injury on her, unfortunately I didn' I feel like I've failed on the C99 X Blueberry Auto, in fact I took it out of the title. I definitely kept it in nutrient lock even after repeated flushings, it seems to have grown a little and even looks like it's accepted its new life as a stunted sideshow geek never thinking of being the in the spotlight under my grow tent. On the plus side, the two normal Desert Lemon photo's look great, even if one is starting to look leggy. They haven't shown their sexes but it looks like they soon will, because frankly I don't have enough room and would like the leggy one to be gone. The two other shortest plants looks nice and green, shortest being the Black Sugar photo that I did some minor LST with tent stakes - and the very beautiful Gelat.OG photo that is so symmetrical it makes me want to put her in the spotlight (aka position 1 which I give most room/light priority too). This week was ok I have noticed that she is started to go into pre-flower may be my last week on grow. I don't think she's going to be a big plant because she is going into flower at that size . but I have a lot of work to do with them autos anyway and I knew that from the start .The other plant that I have I've noticed may have a calmag issue. so I have added sensei calmag extra to the mix I would normally do that in coco anyway but didn't think it would need it in the soil but obviously does. I will post a question with a picture of it today to so you can have a look and decide what the issue is but I think it may be a calmag issue thank you for looking at the update and we'll be one every week 👍

Pics are from day 19, which is the day I topped all the plants. Topped them for a second time a little early - should have waited a couple of days for the new growth. No real damage done though and a lesson learned. Topped to the 3rd node, stripping everything below, and topped each "stork" at the next node creating 4 main branches per plant. Seen a little cal deficiency, but increasing the feed concentration to 2.5ml p/l of each will nutrient type sort that out in the coming week. Will be transplanting to 5 gallon pots in the coming week, once the plants have bounced back from the heavy mainlining techniques they've just been through.

All trimmed up and on the rack for drying , wasn’t a difficult trim but still took 6 hours . She’s dense as , sticky as and smells phenomenal. Big shout out to Weedseed express for coming thru with another banging strain , this one was sentimental to the Mrs as her fave strain ever and Weedseed express done us proud . Looks to be about 12 oz of the absolute fruit .
