My papapayton is coming along nicely. It’s a strong plant from our the door. I think I transplanted my plants a little too early this time and caused a little stewed growth this past week. They grew a decent amount but I can tell I did some root damage and I over watered at trasplant. Even with all my mistakes the plants still look great and healthy. Every plant from fastbuds so far has had the best resistance to stress. I’m excited to see this one come along

the girl was completely dry on the day of watering... it would be better to water the day before... but the spoons are already in the afternoon :) in a week the girl will probably get another leaf removal, her flowers have already started to grow :) good luck to everyone :).

3/14: Came back from a 4 day vacation to a lot of dry, wilted, dead leaves on Amnesia. Trainwreck is super starved as well. My automatic watering system didn't kick on, and the humidifier ran out of water within 24 hours, so there's that. It may be for the better though, as the PH of the nutrients had risen to 7.5. I tossed that mix, and made another 2 gallons of half strength nutes, molasses and epsom salt. I watered them both to runoff, and now I'll wait for Amnesia to prioritize which leaves she thinks are worth saving, and then I'll defoliate the dead ones. Hopefully trainwreck will just bounce back to green. She needed to be defoliated anyway, so this situation makes it easier for me to find the dead leaves. Edit: Came back to feed the last of the nutes and decided to pluck the crispy goners. I found that pulling the leaf stem downward will make the most dead leaves fall right off, allowing me to test a majority of the leaves and give Amnesia a major haircut. Luckily I left a lot of leaves from prior defoliation, as Amnesia REALLY sucked them dry. 3/15: Amnesia looks no worse for wear than last night. Trainwreck as well. Went ahead and pulled as many dead leaves off Trainwreck as I could. Some leaves were a mix of crispy brown and healthy green, which I think is pretty goofy, so I avoided taking any green fans but removed the crispy ones. The colors of the leaves around the buds are really fun to look at. 3/16: Amnesia is starting to SHED her dead leaves, allowing me to pick the leaves with almost no effort. I tested as many leaves as I could, giving another haircut. I would say this isn't a good thing, but since it's my first grow, I'm rolling with it. As long as Amnesia keeps the buds and its nearest leaves alive, it will slowly grow, albeit stunted. I'm not sure if this condition will cause it to finish sooner, but I'm going to need to watch the trichomes under a microscope every couple of days just in case she's ready for harvest. Trainwreck looks about the same as it did before. No new leaves are ready to be removed there yet. 3/19: Amnesia is still shedding leaves, but also bulking up. Trainwreck is slowly bulking up, and turning purple as well! Going to keep an eye on Amnesia's trichomes. Edit: because amnesia is yellowing so much, and because it's been 5 days, I'm going to feed both plants a quarter strength nutrient mix just in case I've been overfeeding them somehow.

Been doing a lot of tweaking with the new gear and multiple sets of plants. Been quite a busy week and probably behind a bit on keeping track of everything. I'm currently working on trying to get better charts made to keep track of things like light schedules, detailed feedings, height change per day, etc. My current setup is my oldest 1st set of plants (5plants) and my 3rd set (6 seedlings), in my new 4x4 Vivosun grow tent equipped with a Spider Farmer SF-1000. I have kept my 2nd set of plants (4plants) in my original 4x2 Vivosun equipped with 600W Vivosun LED. These plants had been extremely stressed due to not having soil or containers available with shipping constraints. They've been doing a lot better since then and I'm hoping they make a full recovery. Fingers crossed! Running 24hr light schedule. Both tents equipped with temp/hygro high and low ranging from about 71-81°F with an average of about 78°F. Watering by plant pot weight, according to GH FloraTrio + CalMag Schedule. Mild LST via tucking of leaves blocking developing sites. The first set of plant's nutrients was made to 4gal of water. The mix is a ratio of (Cal-Mag/GHMicro/GHGro/GHBloom) It's mixed (for the 4gal) in order; 10mL, 5mL, 10mL, 10mL. 440ppm @ 98.5°F 890EC @ 2.2°F us/cm This new nutrient mix was applied for the first time tonight and will run about a week. I'm running a bit behind according to the GH schedule I was following due to stunting the growth I felt like over a couple issues to where I have them an extra week of veg nutrients. As I have defoliated them and they have seemed to take it pretty well, I'm hoping the increase in bloom nutrients will kick the buds into overdrive for production and the plants will start to thicken up again. The second mix follows the same order as the first set in regards to nutrient usage. This mix is only mixed to one gallon. It as follows; 2.5mL, 2.5mL, 1.25mL, 2.5mL. 500ppm @ 98.6°F 992EC @ 0.4°F us/cm This is mostly following the same GH nutrient schedule as the first set only about 2 weeks behind. These plants suffered from being in too small of containers for too long and I believe this stunted their growth. I've had them in suitable new containers for a couple days now and hoping this new mix of increased nutrients will bring them back to life a bit and get them back in schedule. I'm honestly not too sure still about the ppm and EC numbers but a few bud-dies have mentioned that it plays important roles in plant health. So until I can better research good numbers and how to control it for my set up, I'm at the very least trying to keep track of the data. I apologise about this large chunk of text! I hope you enjoy the diary anyway in spite of the fact. I'm loving the look of the buds and everything seems to be going great. Only a few months to go! 😎

Auto Maxi Gom is doing okay. She is bulking, and looks strange to me. I have not grow this strain before. She should fill in as the time passes. Hopefully it's just my patience and eyes playing tricks on me. She is making progress, regardless and is weeks from done. This has been a long flowering process for a autoflower. 🤞🏻 it turns out okay. Nothing more to report at this moment. week 6 of flower and she is starting to put on the weight. Buds have not got more frosty, not sure if its the strain or I've missed something. We are going to go with it the strain and not me, LoL. RQS says 8 to 9 weeks for flower. We will see how accurate that is. i'm going to give some Silica this week to see if it will help with trich production.

2/6/2023 - Day 35: After the watering yesterday the girls perked up, but they were already getting dry again. I was originally planning on waiting longer to transplant, but I felt like they were out growing their 1 gallon pots. Also, after checking their roots I could tell they were ready, so I transplanted today. Watered in with about 1.5 gallons at 6.4 ph. I know they say you don't need to ph water in a large bed like this, but my water is really bad here. At times it can be over 8 ph out of the tap. Mixed my water with Jay Plantspeaker Quillaja, Rootwise Micro Complete, Rootwise Bio-Catalyst, fresh aloa juice from my garden, and BuildASoil Big 6 Micro nutrients. 2/10/2023 - Day 39 Veg: now that the plants are in the 3x3 bed, there is much less maintenance. I'm using an Ecowitt to track the soul moister. It started at 33% when I watered on Monday, and is at 33% today. I want to let it drop below 30% before watering again. I did do my weekly IPM spray today, using Dr. Zymes Eliminator. Also, I noticed some slight leaf discoloration, so I added some Pure Protein Dry and BuildASoil Big 6 micronutrients to the foliar spray, which I sprayed at lights out. A had a small amout of the mix left after all plants were sprayed, so i used it to slightly mist the top soil. Not sure I'd the discoloration is the start of a deficiency or just left over from the under watering last week. Figured the foliar feeding wouldn't hurt either way. 2/12/2022 - Day 41: Soil moisture dropped to 30% today, so I watered with a worm casting tea. Added some Rootwise Micro Complete, Rootwise Bio-Catalyst, and Jay Plantspeaker Quillaja. Watered about 8 liters and gave the plants a foliar feed with the tea as well. All of the plants look pretty good. The Grand Prix 2 has some leaf curl and I'm not sure what is causing it, since the other 3 aren't showing similar symptoms. Thought it might be light or heat stress, since it is the tallest plant, so I raised the light and dropped the high temp down a few degrees. Also, the Frozen White Runtz is the smallest of all 4 and seems to be growing slow. We'll have to see how they all respond to the tea.

Day 22. Work forced me to open tent 20 min earlier and i had to do shortest watering ever, like in 5 min ... Its hard to implement growing into 12 hours shift, especially during flowering... But girls look nice, drink quick, should be good result, unless .... ;))))))))) Day 23. Girls still run up and i have only 20 cm left max ... Supercroped most streching Middle Clone top, one side is shooting strong, will have to repeat action with it as well in couple days ... So all is good !!! Day 24. All got full feed. Supercroped branch is ok , all leaves are up !!! Got my last delivery, now lady bugs and theirs larvae has new support. When was working with plants yesterday i haven't seen any thrips, but order was made, so i rather use them ... Day 26. Had to clean predators balast from flowers,so i touched them .... Oh boy !!! Wanna chop them now ;))) i think thats one of tastes i was chasing, now waiting is pure PAIN !!! ;)) It looks like i pushed them a bit too far with double feed attempt ... so now , water, water + silica, water + calmag, water + molasses , and only then new feed again. Seedlings are doing well! The 1 that is about 4 days older is showing good growth. I’ve been able to keep the humidity high enough and haven’t overwatered them yet! They are getting about a cup of water, starting with the outside rim and working my way in. This is about every third day or so. Not much else, it’s been an easy week. Happy Gardening 👊🇨🇦❤️
